[13]
So for today's vlog, I will teach you how to create
[16]
bulk certificates with names in just 4 easy steps
[20]
Usually we just copy-paste our certificate layouts
[25]
then we manually type the names of our students
[28]
or the recipients of the certificates that we are doing.
[31]
And often times, the texts and images overlap
[34]
of our certificate layout
[36]
So here is the tutorial on how we will doit fast and hassle free.
[52]
We have two requirements in this tutorial
[55]
The first requirement, we need to have a certificate layout
[61]
that is in Microsoft Word
[63]
for this tutorial, this is the example certificate layout we will use
[69]
the second requirement, we need to have a list
[74]
of the recipients of our certificate
[77]
this should be in Microsoft Excel
[80]
Say for example this is the list of names of the recipients of our certificate
[85]
We should not forget that we need to
[88]
put a header... this is our header
[91]
or the title of names
[93]
Because we can use it in the succeeding steps of our tutorial
[98]
So again we have to requirements,
[100]
We need to have Certificate Layout
[104]
and we need to have a list of recipients
[107]
that is in Microsoft Excel
[110]
so let start our first step
[113]
So we need to open our Microsoft Word, our certificate layout
[119]
then let us look for the "Mailings" in the tabs above
[123]
So this is the mailings, let us click it.
[128]
then click the "Select Recipients" in the Mailings Tab
[132]
So let us click "Select Recipients" then click "Use an Existing LIst"
[140]
so that is for Step 1
[143]
so for Step 2, let us look for the file
[146]
where we saved the Microsoft Excel file
[150]
which contains the list of names of our recipients of our certificates
[155]
so here, I saved it on my Desktop
[158]
So here is the excel file that contains the list of names who will receive the certificates
[165]
let us just click that
[167]
then open
[169]
this pop-out window will appear
[172]
let us just click "OK"
[175]
then that's it
[177]
for our Step 3, let us highlight this text
[181]
of our certificate layout
[184]
so this text is for the Name of The Student
[187]
then after he highlighted it,
[190]
let us click "Insert Merge Field"
[196]
so after we clicked "Insert Merge Field"
[199]
just click the header we used
[202]
if we are going to check again our Microsoft Excel
[206]
the header we used is "Name"
[209]
So in our certificate layout, insert merge field...
[214]
let us click the Header Title that we used in our Excel File
[217]
so that's "Name". We just have to click that
[220]
This will now appear
[222]
So what is our last step?
[225]
Our fourth step
[227]
we are still in the Mailings Tab. Let us click "Finish and Merge"
[233]
We just simply click "Finish and Merge"
[235]
then click "Edit Individual Documents"
[240]
After we click that
[243]
this pop-out window will appear
[245]
just click "OK"
[248]
then after we click "OK"
[251]
Here is now our finished output
[253]
we can see that they already have names. They already have individual names
[261]
let us view them all
[263]
that's it. There are already automatic names
[267]
in our certificate
[270]
So basically, that's how easy to create bulk certificates with names
[274]
using Microsoft word and Microsoft excel
[277]
