hiya, J Britten here again with another video

i don't even care what day it is

For me it's a Friday evening

Which means one thing I'm going to go to my local Supermarket and get some snack

and what I'm going to be doing today is paying with something rather special

this is a contactless NFC ring

the best way to describe this is

it's essentially a master card with a bank associated with it

and it enables me to do contactless payments

so i can hear you all saying, what is that magic, are you a magicia, is it spooky magic

no it's not it's just a contactless card. You're going to love it when you see it work.

so what i need to do is top the smart ring up. Like i said it's just a mastercard, so we just transfer money to it.

it has got an app on IOS but not on android yet

So I've just saved the smart ring landing page on my homescreen

it's alright I've already logged in and I'm just going to navigate to account

£10.91. I'm rich

Use the slider. That should be enough.

Obviously that's just linked to another bank card I've got set up. So, click pay now

and we are good to go. We also get a text message saying that it's loaded.

I can buy literally whatever I want!

So all I'm getting for the Friday night is some snack and some drinks

Pia's already picking up a Dominos Pizza, so, lots of calories there

SO maybe i'll rein it in a little on the snacks

Good thing about the ring is. You don't have to charge it, it's obviously waterproof

just think of it as a fancy contactless card really

what the hell am i looking for?

so obviously, good if you've forgotten your wallet

what is handy, is on a night out. When you have a couple of jars

when I say couple. I mean close to 10

you end up loosing all your stuff, you're covered. You're never going to loose your NFC ring

unless you're absolutely blottoed which I have been in the past. So I wouldn't put it past me
