How to Buy XRP on the UpHold App - YouTube

I teach you guys how to get into the markets  and get paid. What do you guys think about  

that intro video? I got some new tools so  let me know what you think. I don't know,  

I thought it was cool, but let's get to it.  Today we're going to talk about how to get XRP.  

XRP has been off. you know Coinbase,  voyager, most of the main places you can get  

cryptocurrency. So where can we get it? Since  XRP was hit with the lawsuit by the SEC,  

that has now been dropped, you can still not buy  these coins, because they've been unsupported  

by Coinbase and Voyager, and all these good  ones that we tend to use. So what do we have  

to do to get this coin? What we're going to  do is, we're going to use the app UpHold.  

UpHold is going to give us the ability to get  the XRP coin. However, I want to give you guys a  

heads up they do have a big spread fee. However,  XRP has previously been to an all-time high of  

three dollars and fifty cents. It's hanging around  a dollar seventy dollar ninety somewhere around  

there right now, but we're expecting it to go  up and even up beyond that. One of the cool  

things about XRP is banks like to use it to send  large large amounts of money back and forth. So  

we want to keep that in mind that XRP  is a coin it's not just a [ __ ] coin,  

right? It's not just an altcoin. It's a  possible bitcoin type coin. All right,  

so let's keep that in mind. Let's get into it.  First off, we want to go to our play store. Boom

Here we're going to go ahead and do uphold  u-p-h-o-l-d boom. There it is right there.  

We're going to select that I’ve already  downloaded it, but you guys know the drill.  

Go ahead and download it. Once it's  downloaded, hit open. What you'll do is

you're going to register. So you're going  to give them all your information: name,  

birthday, social security number. All that good  stuff. They're going to go ahead and let you in.  

Once you're in, you're going to want to do the  secondary verification in order to buy crypto.  

What we want to do first is go to more,  here. You're going to go to settings  

and here in this list you're going to  have a thing that says verify account.  

All right, at that point you're going to  want to go through the verification process:  

take a snapshot of your license, take a  snapshot of the barcode on your license,  

and then take a snapshot at the back of your  license, and they want a selfie as well.  

So they go all the way on this app. So keep that  in mind. That's something to note. All right,  

once we're all verified we want to  go ahead and go to linked accounts.  

Here we want to link our account and make sure  that's all set up. So that way we can purchase  

crypto from this app. All right, once we're  done we're going to go back. We're going to go  

ahead and select transact in the middle there.  It's going to bring up this nice little screen  

we're going to put in, shoot, I've already been  buying XRP. So we're going to select our account  

usd. We're going to do $10 just $10  from us xrp, and we're going to buy xrp  

there we go. What we want to do, is scroll  down, preview deposit. All right we can see  

it's a dollar 70 cents is what they're going  to charge us, and we're going to say confirm.

There we go the balance just went up  

one of the things. I want you to notice is it was  a dollar 77. Look there, look at the actual price.  

The actual price is 1.75. So we got charged two  cents on every coin we bought. So keep that in  

mind. That's kind of the spread fee that UpHold  is kind of using on you. Vvoyager does the kind of  

the same thing, but voyager's spread isn't really  that bad when you're buying. However if you're  

selling, voyager kind of kicks you in the ass. So  keep that in mind if you guys have any questions,
