Second Stimulus Check Update: Stimulus Check Call To Action - YouTube

Channel: The TEC Show

[0]
what's going on everybody David here today we're gonna talk about that second
[2]
stimulus check so we should all start looking towards the second stimulus
[6]
check I know there's some people who still haven't received their first
[9]
Simmons check but we have to start focusing on that second one because you
[13]
give it any time and guess what it's gonna be forgotten about by the
[17]
politician so we definitely want to focus on that know what's going on know
[21]
what the proposals are so we're gonna talk a little bit about that today but
[24]
first off on this channel we talked about personal finance to travel on a
[27]
budget that sounds like something interesting to you please hit that
[30]
subscribe button don't forget to the little Bell notification so you can get
[33]
future updates on my videos all right so we're gonna talk I'm not going to go
[36]
into in-depth specifics of these different proposals and the reason why
[41]
is because I'm gonna do separate videos of all these different proposals that
[45]
are coming out and as they come out so you want to subscribe to the channel
[48]
that way you'll get all the the latest information when it comes to these
[52]
different proposals so hit the hit the subscribe button hit the bell
[55]
notification you'll get notified when I put out future videos I know I just said
[59]
that but I just want to remind you it's very very important that way anytime I
[63]
put a video out about a proposal you guys will know about it and at the end
[66]
of this video I'm gonna let you know why you should be concerned about these
[68]
different proposals and how you can make you can affect these different
[72]
politicians and get them hey you know what I'm interested in this one but I'm
[75]
not interested in this one that way they'll kind of know what they should be
[79]
pushing for alright so the first thing I want to do is take a step back we'll
[82]
look at the legislative branch I want to talk a little bit about how this is
[85]
gonna go this is going to work out how I think it's gonna work out now I know
[88]
you're looking at me and you're thinking who is this guy like who's he talking
[90]
why is he talking about politics who is who is he
[93]
so I majored in political science I do have a background when it comes to
[97]
working with politicians and work with politicians for 20 years as a campaign
[100]
manager on down the list so I do have some experience dealing with politicians
[105]
that I know how they think when it comes to to things like this you have to
[109]
understand a politician's biggest fear is not being reelected so what they're
[114]
gonna do they're gonna do for the people so they can get reelected they don't
[118]
want to look like the bad guy because if you're looking at that bad guy they're
[121]
not gonna be they're not gonna be in office so right now we're looking at the
[124]
House and the Senate they can both bring a bill to to the
[127]
floor so when it comes to the next bill that happens they can both bring them to
[131]
the floor the last carries a Qui brought to the floor by the the House of
[135]
Representatives this Care Act it could be brought by it by either or I still
[139]
think the House of Representatives will probably bring it to the floor first and
[142]
the reason that I'm saying that is because the proposals right now they're
[145]
coming from the house so a lot of these proposals that you're seeing are coming
[149]
from the house and so they're already talking about things they're probably
[153]
going to bring it to the floor first now the good thing about the house being the
[156]
one that brings it to the floor first is they're talking about things for the
[159]
American people so they're talking about tax payroll tax waivers they're talking
[164]
about free free rent free mortgage they're talking about a stimulus check
[168]
in over months so they're talking about different things that that were
[172]
interested in hearing right now Mitch McConnell who is a senator and he is the
[177]
majority leader he is not really talking about any of that stuff as a matter of
[181]
fact he's talking more about hey you know what let's hold off let's see
[185]
what's gonna happen let's look at our finances and all that they want to look
[189]
at finances now but when they are addition out money to big big
[192]
corporations you didn't hear anything about let's look at our finances but as
[197]
soon as that went through soon as our last little bill went through the the
[201]
four hundred and eighty four billion dollar help with loans PPP program and
[206]
all that as soon as that went through now it's time to let's let's take a look
[211]
at what's going on so I think the house will initiate this next Care Act
[216]
they'll initiate it they will vote on it pass it move it over to the Senate now
[223]
once it goes over to this Senate if the Senate wants to kick it back and say no
[226]
we're not gonna we're not going to deal with that we're not going to vote on it
[228]
or we're gonna make changes and we're gonna take out this next stimulus check
[232]
then guess what there's gonna be there's gonna be some problems right because
[235]
most people would probably say hey you want to give me some some money i I want
[239]
money actually I earned the money I paid my taxes you can give me a little bit of
[243]
that money back so I think the majority of people if they found out that the
[249]
Senate wanted to pull out some of the the stimulus checks and stuff like that
[253]
there would probably be a big uproar and being that it's an election year that's
[258]
the wrong time to start messing with people when it comes to money so that's
[262]
why I think the the house will initiate it they'll push it through
[266]
what's gonna happen in these proposals you have to understand these proposals
[270]
they're gonna be out there they're gonna be out there you're gonna have a lot of
[275]
different stuff that they that they throw out there and they know that
[277]
they're not gonna get everything it's just like when you go to buy a car and
[281]
and the the car dealer tells you it's twenty thousand dollars and then you
[286]
start negotiating down you never pay that twenty thousand dollars but they're
[290]
gonna they're gonna say it's twenty thousand because they know they're going
[294]
to be working things down so they're gonna try to get it at the high point
[297]
and then try to drop down to a point where they're comfortable so that's
[301]
what's gonna happen both sides are going to have to get comfortable with with the
[305]
is there a stimulus checkers there not a stimulus check how much is estimate is
[309]
checking to be I personally believe there's going to be another stimulus
[312]
check it's just a matter of how much so that's where we are it can't be less
[316]
than 1200 we've already received 1200 I think most people would say yeah it's
[320]
not going to be less than 1200 but it might not be 2000 and we might not see
[325]
that every month 2000 for the first month and then a thousand every month
[330]
after that or 2000 for the first month in the to that well I don't think we're
[333]
gonna see anything like that I think we'll see one more check and and then
[337]
they'll just call it at that point maybe that may be what they'll do is say okay
[342]
we're gonna give it another 30 days and then we'll we'll reconvene it will look
[346]
at it we'll put it in a committee and the committee is gonna look at it and
[349]
see if it's feasible to have another stimulus check so that's why I think
[354]
it's gonna go I think Mitch McConnell is gonna have a lot of pressure to go ahead
[359]
and do another another stimulus check now there are other things that they've
[363]
been talking about right now which is which is interesting too they've been
[366]
talking about infrastructure they've always been I mean this is before we
[369]
even had this whole coronavirus situation crisis before that when when
[374]
President Trump was first elected even before President Trump they they always
[379]
talked about infrastructure so building the road building up the roads and
[382]
bridges and all that stuff so that's always a talk they've been going back
[385]
and forth nothing has really happened yet they're mentioning again the
[389]
president mentioned it Nancy Pelosi missed you did so it is back in the
[393]
forefront so infrastructure we might see some some stuff going on with
[397]
infrastructure another thing if they're talking about right now is fiscal
[399]
support for states and local government now this is
[402]
a big one and you saw Governor Cuomo and Mitch McConnell talking about this going
[407]
going back and forth not really going back and forth but they're both
[410]
expressing their their their feelings about it and Cuomo is very very upset
[416]
about Mitch McConnell saying if if these states are gonna go bankrupt we're gonna
[420]
let them go bankrupt we don't want to have to pay or send money out for states
[425]
that we're already doing bad even though let's face it the federal
[430]
government we're we're all in a deficit right now but they don't want to have to
[435]
pay out money into a state that is that wasn't doing well before no virus and
[439]
now they're doing even worse so things like that but then you have to also
[443]
understand like Governor Cuomo was was basically saying looking some of these
[448]
large states New York California they have a lot of revenue that comes through
[454]
and goes to the federal government comes through that state and goes to the
[457]
federal government you have all you have you have the the tech companies in in
[461]
California you have let's face it you have Hollywood in California you have in
[466]
you have Wall Street in New York you have some real big industries that are
[470]
making a lot of money and a lot of that money is going to the federal government
[474]
as a matter of fact some states like this and Connecticut and some of these
[477]
other states they pay more to the federal government than they take back
[481]
and then on the other hand you have some states that are just taking money from
[485]
the government so they're not they don't make enough revenue in their state in
[489]
order to have like a surplus when it comes to the money that they're giving
[492]
to the federal government so the federal government is basically you know
[496]
carrying them along and that's the way it works I mean we are the United States
[500]
of America and we do need to share share our wealth right that's why we pay taxes
[506]
and when I pay taxes that money doesn't just go to the things that I need it
[510]
goes to the things that we need collectively as as a country so it's
[514]
understandable but in situations like this where you have certain areas like
[519]
New York hit hard New Jersey hit hard California was hit hard Washington the
[525]
state of Washington was hit pretty hard so they're they need the finances right
[530]
now so if they need the finances right now we should collectively be
[534]
sending money to them and there shouldn't be a situation when we're
[537]
talking about letting states go bankrupt it just doesn't make any sense that that
[541]
I mean that's one of those deals where you okay I'm gonna let you go bankrupt
[545]
and your that's their a part of the US so ladies imma go bankrupt is not going
[550]
to help help us collectively as a country so I'm sure that that that will
[556]
be discussed and I'm sure there's going to be some money that will be allocated
[558]
towards government state government local government but we'll just have to
[563]
see with that so at this point I know we all want another cheque and so that's
[567]
that's what we want to really focus on so for the next month and a half two
[571]
months however long it takes I will be working through all the different
[574]
proposals and putting it out to you guys so you know so like I said hit that
[578]
subscribe button also on my website I'll also post a link so you guys can find
[583]
all the all the US representatives and the Senators you can have all their
[588]
contact information that way when I talk about things you can put it out to them
[592]
because this is very important if you're putting it sending them emails you think
[596]
oh they're not going to read the email you're right they're not reading the
[598]
email but they have AIDS and those aids are reading the emails and guess what
[602]
those aids are doing the emails they're putting little checkmarks okay you know
[605]
what they're on this side they're on that side they want a similar check they
[608]
don't want a stimulus check and then they're gonna do a little percentage and
[611]
they'll look and say okay you know what 70% of the people will want a stimulus
[615]
check and they take that to the politician and then that's when they
[619]
look at and they say okay well you know what the majority of my constituents
[622]
they want another stimulus check so even though I might not want to because my
[629]
side of the aisle doesn't want another stimulus check I still need to consider
[633]
that in the least think hey you know what maybe I can convince some of my
[637]
colleagues that it would be a good thing so that's that's the way it works when
[641]
it comes down to it they might not read your your letter your email but they
[646]
will know the percentage of people how they feel about certain things so get
[651]
out there let them know and the way that you're gonna let them know it's like I
[654]
said I'll give you the proposals I'll let you know what I think about it you
[658]
can make up your own mind and then you can send them an email that way if you
[661]
guys have any questions or anything like that post it down below if you like this
[665]
video please give thumbs up please subscribe for more and
[667]
I'll talk to you the next one
