the election so the election the georgia runoff聽聽

um and i'm still watching it now we still do not聽
have they have not declared any winners but the聽聽

race is very very close you have mr warnock he's聽
up by about 35 000 points you have uh senator聽聽

perdue he's up by about a thousand points so we're聽
looking at a situation where it's a statistical聽聽

dead heat when it comes to ossoff and purdue聽
and it looks like reverend warnock is going to聽聽

be able to win that seat although they have not聽
declared it yet he's got he's up by 35 000 votes聽聽

and so we're looking at a really crazy situation聽
that i don't even think anyone imagined聽聽

it would be this close and we could potentially聽
have two democrats representing georgia聽聽

so that's what we're going to talk about today聽
i just want to talk a little bit about how the聽聽

the stimulus package is really affecting this race聽
and what could happen if we do have two democrats聽聽

coming from georgia that's we're going to聽

we're seeing uh because i think this is special聽聽

what we're seeing is special because i don't聽
think anyone imagined that we would have聽聽

one democrat come out of georgia let alone we聽
might have two democrats come out of georgia聽聽

and represent georgia in the u.s senate i聽
don't think that that was something that was聽聽

was heavily thought about and the fact that this聽
potentially could be happening it looks like聽聽

we'll have at least one and we might have two just聽
looking because what i'm looking at i'm looking at聽聽

the two counties that where they're still counting聽
votes i'm looking at fulton county i'm looking at聽聽

dekalb county they're still counting votes and we聽
know in both those counties you have overwhelming聽聽

support for democrats so those numbers that we're聽
looking at right now they're going to change聽聽

and so we're looking at a situation where聽
potentially we might see it go blue we聽聽

might see georgia go blue and this is all as a聽
result of the stimulus package stimulus checks聽聽

i think that is what's affecting people and聽
bringing them to the polls saying you know what聽聽

we've had enough we have had enough these聽
politicians don't want to represent us so we're聽聽

going to get new people in there because you have聽
to understand senator perdue he's an incumbent聽聽

there's no way in the world he should be this聽
close in a race with with someone running for for聽聽

u.s senators the first time this should shouldn't聽
be happening but it is you have reverend warnock聽聽

going against miss leffler miss leffler she's聽
not i mean she's an incoming in the sense that聽聽

she was appointed to the position but she聽
has not run in an election and won but still聽聽

she does have some of the the luxuries of being an聽
income because she was already there first right聽聽

she's running for reelection has that name聽
recognition but she's losing right now聽聽

and so i think this is a direct result of聽
how things have been handled when it comes聽聽

to coronavirus when it comes to the stimulus聽
package when it comes to stimulus checks聽聽

that's what we're looking at here we're looking聽
at people saying no this is not acceptable聽聽

we want a change not only do we want to change聽
in georgia but we also want mitch mcconnell to聽聽

change we want the majority leader in the senate聽
to change because he is not representing us聽聽

either because he had an opportunity for the聽
2 000 stimulus check to at least bring it to聽聽

the floor to have them vote on it we already knew聽
that there was support for it we had republicans聽聽

supporting it you had democrats supporting it and聽
mitch mcconnell refused to bring it to the floor聽聽

that is hurting these senators as well聽
because when you look at that and you realize聽聽

hey i have the power to change both these聽
seats which will in turn change mitch mcconnell聽聽

it will make him the minority leader not the聽
majority leader he's not going to have the same聽聽

power he's not going to be able to call things to聽
the floor you'll now have chuck schumer a democrat聽聽

in there able to call things to the floor maybe聽
we can get a 2 000 stimulus check that way you聽聽

had mr ossoff saying look we want two thousand聽
dollar stimulus checks that's what i'm for聽聽

you had reverend warnock saying the same聽
thing you had biden saying the same thing聽聽

two thousand dollar stimulus checks you聽
don't think people are thinking about聽聽

that when they go into the polls to vote they're聽
thinking about that because they know it's fair聽聽

we waited seven months for stimulus聽
package when that seamless package聽聽

came a lot of people were unsatisfied with the聽
stimulus check the six hundred dollars i don't聽聽

think i heard a person tell me six hundred聽
dollars that's perfect that's what i want

no one could say that they probably would聽
have said that if it was 1200 they would聽聽

have said you know what 1200 that's what we聽
got last time that sounds about fair but 600聽聽

i didn't hear anyone say yeah this is this聽
is perfect this is going to pay all my bills聽聽

i think this is a direct result of the fact聽
that the stimulus package was just a disaster聽聽

the whole thing was a disaster you get it聽
passed through the house the senate it gets聽聽

to the president and the president says what what聽
are we doing here i'm not i don't want this and聽聽

then the president was refusing to sign it i聽
mean all this stuff that that has happened in聽聽

the last a few months has just been crazy and we聽
see that our politicians are not representing us聽聽

and georgia has that opportunity and聽
they're taking that opportunity right now

so i'm hoping that these politicians are watching聽
and they realize i need to represent the people聽聽

because if i do not represent the people聽
if i choose to represent the party聽聽

which politicians on both sides that's what聽
they're doing they're representing the party聽聽

oh you want this yeah i'll represent it look聽
at the 2 000 stimulus check president donald聽聽

trump came out and said he wants 2 000 stimulus聽
checks now you see all these republicans coming聽聽

out saying yes 2 000 stimulus checks that's what聽
we want they weren't saying anything seven months聽聽

ago they weren't saying anything four months聽
ago about a two thousand dollar stimulus check聽聽

they had to wait until president trump said he聽
wants a two thousand dollar stimulus check and now聽聽

all of a sudden it's okay they are representing聽
the party they're not representing the people聽聽

and people are starting to realize that聽
and they're saying you know what we're done聽聽

we're done with this we'll have to see where聽
it goes from here it looks like we might have聽聽

a recount in both races so uh that that's nothing聽
to be alarmed georgia's been really good as far聽聽

as their recounts and they haven't changed the聽
the numbers uh very much uh so we will probably聽聽

see the same numbers come out regardless but聽
yes this is this in my opinion is a rebuke of聽聽

the way politicians have been handling this whole聽
