[1]
Welcome to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement Division’s
[6]
customer case manager.
[8]
The Department is in the process of upgrading the case manager to increase online services
[13]
offered to our customers.
[15]
This video will highlight some features of the new case manager.
[20]
Using the new case manager, you can apply for child support services, apply to reopen
[25]
your child support case, view the status of your application or complete or cancel a previous
[31]
application.
[33]
You can also log in to the case manager to: see details about your case, ask DOR to update
[40]
your case information, or take an action in your case.
[49]
If you don’t have an existing case manager account, you can click the Register hyperlink
[55]
at the top right hand of the page to create a case manager account.
[59]
You can then use the case manager to get information about your case.
[64]
Let’s register as a new user.
[70]
After selecting the Register hyperlink, you’re asked to choose a username, a password and
[76]
an email address for your new account.
[79]
After entering the requested information, we’ll click Continue to go to the next page.
[118]
You’ll need to select your security questions and answers before proceeding.
[120]
Once you make your selections, click “Submit” to create your new case manager account.
[157]
Now that your case manager account is created, click OK on this page, and complete the registration process by logging
[165]
in at the top of the page using your username and password.
[169]
Note that when you log in to your case manager account for the first time, you will be prompted
[173]
to link your child support information to your account by using your PIN, date of birth, and
[176]
security number or individual taxpayer identification number.
[232]
Once you link your child support account to your case manager account, you can view or
[236]
update your information, request actions or documents, manage your account, and take other
[243]
actions depending on whether you are the party who receives child support, the party who
[248]
pays, or an employer.
[251]
Here you are seeing the options for a custodial party receiving child support.
[257]
For example, let’s click View Case Information.
[265]
If you are a party who receives child support, you’ll be able to view your case summary,
[270]
any past-due support owed by the other party, and any payments that were issued to you.
[277]
Let’s click “View my past due support.”
[288]
This shows you all of the balances owed on the case.
[292]
Clicking the “Previous page” button, takes us back to the previous menu.
[300]
Now, let’s click the link: View payments issued to me.
[307]
Here you can view the details of the payments made to you in the last 24 months.
[312]
You can also print a copy for your records by using the Print button at the bottom of
[317]
the page.
[324]
To quickly return to the home page, click the My Home link at the top of the page.
[337]
From here, you can view or update your personal information by clicking on the appropriate
[342]
link.
[344]
Let’s do that now.
[351]
From this page, you can update your personal information, add or update your employer details,
[357]
and add or update your health insurance information.
[360]
Let’s click Previous Page to return to your home page.
[370]
Depending on your role, there are other options available from your home page.
[374]
For example, if you’re logged in as an employer, you can respond to notices sent by DOR.
[381]
As a Party, you can setup a direct deposit account.
[385]
More details will be provided regarding these options in future tutorials.
[390]
You can logout at any time during your session by clicking “Log out” at the top of the
