CARDANO : Crypto KING or SHITCOIN ? - YouTube

Is Cardano and other altcoins shitcoins ? This is a narrative that you hear everywhere on

social media.

Medium articles, Youtube videos, Twitter trolls, its everywhere.

No matter how strongly you believe in your favourite coin, it sometimes feel frustrating.

When you heard people like Adam Back, probably satoshi nakamoto himself, calling anything

but Bitcoin, including Cardano a shitcoin, it can sometimes feel annoying.

Today we are going to explain why crypto Maximalism in general is actually really good of the

ecosystem.

It might sound counter intuitive, but i'm going to explain why it's essential for the

survival of your coin.

You will realize that all your hear about Bitcoin being the only true coin, is FUD,

and that Cardano is much more than a shitcoin.

I wanted to talk about this topic for so long, because I feel like people just joining the

space are being manipulated mentally and emotionally.

In this channel, I try to share with you the emotional intelligence and knowledge that

is required to stay composed in this crazy crypto Market.

Today's video will be broken down in three parts :

• Part I : What is Maximalisn, and what is a Shitcoin ?

• Part II : Why Crypto maximalism is actually good ?

• Part III : Is Cardano really a Shitcoin ? (hint: no)

• Like always, we are going to end off with a sweet french quote at the end of this video,

Part #1 : What is Maximalism :

• Maximalism is a word used to describe true devotion to one and only one cryptocurrency.

For example Bitcoin maximalists have an unwavering conviction that BTC is the only cryptocurrency

worth caring about.

• There were multiple attempts of creating decentralized cryptocurrencies in the past

and Bitcoin is the very first one that has reached some form of adoption and success.

• With Bitcoin, people learned that we could reach consensus in a decentralized way.

• Since then, many cryptocurrencies have been built using the same blockchain technology

and they are called altcoins (standing for alternative coins)

• With Ethereum, we learned what to do with a decentralized consensus with the introduction

and use of smart contracts.

• And with newer generations like Cardano, we are introducing even more innovation with

the integration of on-chain governance features for example.

• Bitcoin maximalist are believing that btc is the only coin that is needed and that

will survive.

• For example : you Have Adam Back (possibly the creator of Bitcoin) being very vocal about

anything that is not Bitcoin, critcizing any other coin that comes around.

• This group of people are calling the rest of the coins SHITCOINS.

• One of their arguments is that Altcoins and Shitcoin are made for people to dump on

you.

They say that people are creating fake projects to steal your Bitcoin and to dump on the market.

• By saying that every other coins are shitcoins, they are essentially disregarding the innovation

that can take place in the cryptoworld.

• Even though that is true for some scammy projects, I have been scammed myself during

the ICO mania, this is how the world works.

Jeff bezos, Elon musk also own a lot of shares of their companies and they could also dump

shares into the market.

It doesn't mean Amazon and Tesla are shitstocks.

They are providing values to their ecosystems and innovators are being rewards for taking

risks.

• making a generalization that every other coin is a shitcoin because of this doesn't

make sense to me, this is how the world works.

• One thing that you have you realized is that what those bitcoin maximalists have in

common is that they have Heavy bags of BITCOIN.

So they have NO incentive whatsoever to support other coins.

They will go where their financial interests are, and that's the reason why they trash

talk everything else.

• I always encourage people to be open minded so don't be scared by maximalists, they will

be missing great opportunities.

Part #2 : Why is maximalism good for crypto :

• The one thing that you have to realize and remember is that the world is a competitive

space.

• From human being able to survive because we are the most competitive species today,

to apple and amazon dominating their respective market places for commerce, you are realizing

that life is a competition for survival.

• Survival is the number one thing humans have seeked throughout their entire existence.

• So the reason why maximalism is good in crypto, is that it makese you belong to a

tribe that has values and beliefs.

So in a sense, maximalism is creating die hards.

And this exactly what a coin needs to survive.

○ Everytime your coin would drop, if you have maximalists showing up and still defending

it when it crashes to the abyss, it will always survive.

○ That's why I always say that Community is the number #1 criteria you should look

at if you want good coins.

I will be making a video about how to build your portfolio the right way in the future.

• Crypto is not about winning a battle.

In fact, there is no concept of winning real life and in nature, there's only the concept

of surviving.

Animal don't fight to win, they fight to survive.

• Winning is a concept created by humans, and those who wanted to win and dominate other

people, always ended up losing by being trapped at their own game.

• When you're playing for survival, this is when you go far.

And guess what?

How do you think you survive in this space ?? You innovate.

• So i'll say it again, instead of trying to find the winning coins, look for the ones

that will survive.

Community is the number one criteria you should at.

Investing and cryptocurrency is not about winning tokens, its about surviving : and

that's why, crypto maximalism is good, it creates die hard that is necessary for survival,

and at the same time, it pushes innovation.

Part #3 : Is Cardano a Shitcoin ?

• Well, after everything i've said and my previous videos.

You know my position.

• Cardano has been one of the most innovative platform in the space the past 3 years, and

the people criticizing the speed at which things are delivered are not understanding

the size of the problems we are trying to solve.

• People think that Cardano is solving things such as Transactions per seconds, scalability

and other such things.

But No, Cardano is much much more than this, and people just don't do enough research to

realize that.

Why because they are blinded by surface level things.

• Cardano creating new standards, it has an ever growing communities, and more importantly

it has values and beliefs.

Cardano has a mission.

That is not the case for most of the coins out there.

If you think about ethereum for example, it has no values and no beliefs.

It doesn't mean its going to fail, it means the reach will be contained.

• There are actually, only a few coins that could say that they have die hards holders

in their communities.

those are the ones you should own.

• What I want you to take away from this video is this :

○ Cryptos are systems of beliefs, almost like religions.

And like religions, not only one will survive.

There are more than 800 religions coexisting in the world, and we are doing just fine.

More than one can survive.

○ So let the people trash talk and call our coin a shitcoin.

IT doesn't matter.

Don't ever doubt your conviction : Don't play their game because it shows that you are doubting

and you are actually giving credit to what they say.

○ Remember that People that are SURE of who they are, their inner qualities don't

have to justify themselves.

They enjoy the show.

○ True Alpha males don't shout, and don't engage into fight.

They observe and and keep growing in silence.

(by the way, that is exactly why China is so powerful)

○ Let people call us shitcoin, I can guarantee you, they will be the ones deleting their

tweets like this guy for example.

So try not to be mean to other people, don't look down on what they do or what they're

trying to achieve, it probably means a lot to them.
