i just uh got an account with a choice home  warranty and the reason i did it was because  

i just bought a house uh last june and uh of  course it was doing covert and it was kind of  

rough had to do everything virtually so and i'm  a first-time homeowner and uh so you know it took  

a while to get all that and then i got my home  insurance and uh got that sorted out and i started  

getting security and then at one point because  i don't have because this is the house that  

i've been winning right so every time something  went wrong my my landlord would recover it so  

i get the house been living here for five years  i finally bought it from the landlord great price  

and so all of a sudden you know a couple of things  started like stopped working for instance my hot  

water tank just stopped working right and i got  it you know it was like and so and it was like  

flooding or something and so i had to put pay  for that out of my pocket with my savings i'm  

like wait a minute you know i'm like this is  supposed this is home ownership i just bite  

the bullet that i had to pay for some electrical  uh just minor electrical repairs in my box so i  

started researching home warranty companies right  i didn't know what a home warranty was i i was  

kind of getting it meshed up with home insurance  but it's not the same thing so home warranty is  

covering things like my stove and then all this  stuff was already in the house but i bought it  

so i've been like kind of keeping like a little  cash fund to kind of pay for these things and not  

touching it and not putting it in my stocks and  all that so i could like pay for these repairs  

then i went online read some reviews uh then my  company said you know my company that i work for  

was suggesting that you know different companies  and they had your name pop up so uh choice home  

warranty's popped up i went to the website uh  looked at the pricing there's some quick reviews  

and noticed that they had outstanding reviews  every time i uh looked on you know trusted sites  

like consumer reports things of that nature you  know really numb by his uh sites so i called the  

guy got some clarification about the warranty  what it covers pricing things of that nature  

and the guy was so knowledgeable so reassuring  it felt like i was talking to one of my friends  

right i completely like you know you know he  gave me all the terms gave me peace of mind  

that now if i have something happen to one  of my uh devices you know on my appliances  

it's gonna cost me 85 out of my pocket right  that's a lot uh better than me trying to say  

five ten thousand dollars to pay for  this tough cash but i could be using that  

to invest you know do home you know you know  uh save for you know just save all right  

so it gave so i went ahead and did it and the guy  gave me the best price he could give me you know  

he uh you know went beyond making sure i got the  best price for for myself i guess maybe because my  

company had recommended it or something it was he  just really went with me beyond the call of duty  

and he really assured this first time homeowner  i got a little age on me but you know but  

when it comes to this i'm a complete newbie  so everything is new about this homeowner's  

experience you know all the the the benefits the  responsibilities and so what this uh uh purchase  

did or this service does for me is give me peace  of mind now i know that if my fridge stops working  

i don't have to just cough up to a thousand  two thousand dollars to just get a fridge  

you know sell stock or something they go by  the fridge so that is you know or if my hvac  

goes on the fridge but i got you know  i'm not the only one in the house i got  

really you know kinfolk here written so so it's  not just for me it's peace of mind for my you  

know co-inhabitants of the house so you know  i got women you know my my sister's here so

i i don't need for women to be inconvenienced  you know hot water is going out we all need  

that heater not working in the winter time so  so everybody has peace of mind you know i'm  

the homeowner my name's gonna be but it gives  me peace of mind because i can take care of my  

uh my loved ones make sure that they're not this  you know uh inconvenienced by just the laws of uh  

phase breaking things are going to break so i know  it's going to break it's kind of like having good  

good car insurance right so i know i'm protecting  the case of something weird going on and i feel  

really good about that thank you choice  choice a warranty i really appreciate that
