[5]
hi and welcome to today's edition of the
[8]
transition guide now we have the San
[10]
Antonio and actually today we're filming
[12]
by the animal and the animal is one of
[15]
the most famous landmarks in Texas and
[19]
today I want to talk to you about a
[21]
topic that has come up as quite
[23]
contentious are very important and the
[27]
circus called the Manchester for me now
[31]
if you looked over the last four or five
[33]
years there seems to be this glowing
[38]
it's a whole grown discontentment where
[41]
people are just really sort of saying
[43]
okay I'm not happy I'm going to do
[46]
something about it I'm just going to
[47]
just drop the country that I'm living in
[48]
and they resort to terrorism for me and
[52]
etc I would have a little article the
[56]
other day by the Dalai Lama which he
[58]
said that people today are becoming very
[60]
easily influenced the whole social media
[64]
Twitter Facebook etc is making it really
[67]
easy for people or more easier sort of
[69]
thing for people to become radicalized
[71]
and the children's we've got with all of
[73]
this is really a lot of people are
[75]
coming on board I'm not even people they
[76]
naturally live in our country they're
[79]
guests of the country and it's not just
[81]
in the UK this is happening it's just
[83]
happening all over the world you've got
[85]
in Canada got in the u.s. you got in
[87]
Australia the question is when is
[90]
someone actually going to do something
[91]
about here why is this on a business
[93]
podcast well in a video I'll tell you in
[96]
a minute so you look you look at the
[98]
whole civilization and saw that
[100]
discontentment one of the things that's
[103]
really clear is that we are starting as
[105]
a world to try and please everybody
[107]
this whole inclusive thing we're
[109]
starting to lose that core identity if
[111]
you think about it each country has its
[112]
own culture is an identity etc and what
[115]
you're finding especially in the UK
[116]
people are coming over and very often
[118]
they don't want to integrate with that
[121]
core values with their core identity of
[123]
the country what they want to do is they
[125]
want to create their own identity within
[126]
that country I mean there's lots of
[128]
mutterings in the UK around people
[130]
wanting Sharia law this there are
[132]
schools v any other and that doesn't
[134]
lend itself to a conducive harmonious
[138]
environment to the point where we've
[140]
never the challenges that we cover your
[142]
face now so I need to be done about it
[145]
the reality is this if you have your
[147]
core values truly identified and it's
[151]
really clear to people people have a
[153]
choice they can either fight by the
[156]
rules because that's what I would do if
[158]
I was to say move to Canada tomorrow
[160]
I can't expect Canada to bend around me
[163]
it's not my country I'm going to get to
[165]
this country I'm hoping to move to that
[168]
country it's only fair that I actually
[171]
fit in with their culture because it was
[173]
my choice to move there
[177]
and unless we start to deal with this
[179]
issue what's going to happen is just
[180]
going to get worse than worse and the
[183]
reality is this the world is a huge
[186]
place of so many different countries if
[189]
the country you're living in doesn't
[191]
suit your surface smooth in or
[195]
off it's that simple
[198]
now what's this got to do with business
[200]
where are so many businesses do not have
[202]
their core values truly defined so what
[205]
happens is people make up their own laws
[207]
and there we happen very often that what
[209]
happens is the rules that they make up
[211]
are not the rules that you want in your
[213]
business so first thing you need to do
[215]
we've talked about core values before
[217]
you need to identify the rules of your
[218]
business
[219]
the rules of your game what what's
[221]
acceptable and what's not acceptable now
[223]
if you I've noticed as well is it not
[225]
the businesses are visited where the
[227]
core values are truly sort of identified
[230]
very often business owners are so scared
[234]
to actually enforce them they know there
[237]
has people that totally violate those
[239]
core values
[240]
now if you're one of those people that
[241]
violate the violators of core values
[244]
my question to you is what you doing
[246]
about it because what happens is a very
[248]
often people don't do nothing about it
[250]
and what happens you start going down
[252]
this whole disenfranchised route so you
[255]
have one person that's unhappy what does
[257]
they try to do they try to go in this
[259]
other people citizeness other people
[262]
before you know it you've got a movement
[264]
against you nothing has happened so many
[266]
times in businesses
[269]
so if you've got people out there in
[271]
your business that are not biting by
[273]
your core values remember this you can't
[276]
train core values they're either your
[279]
people or they're not your people but if
[283]
you do not get rid of the people that
[285]
don't share your core values they are
[288]
going to enlist other people and
[290]
metaphorically speaking you will have a
[293]
toast act committed on your business
[295]
where they will start to turn the
[297]
business against you and then you have
[300]
bigger problems than you can imagine
[302]
now if you resonate with while spoken
[304]
about today head over to Boca comm
[306]
engage in contact remember they need to
[310]
learn is learning to fail
