[60]
guys look here
[63]
1.307 trillion
[65]
for the crypto market cap guess what
[68]
20 billion dollars or so has just left
[71]
in the last
[72]
hour or two out of the space hello
[75]
that's talking to me i don't know what
[77]
it's saying to you but we're getting
[78]
ready to look at some powerful stuff
[80]
here in just a second here
[81]
64.2 is where the price of xrp is 60
[84]
cents right now
[85]
low range is 5978 upper range 6273 we'll
[89]
keep an eye on it
[90]
let's start right here nasdaq listed bit
[93]
digital is
[94]
migrating 14 500
[98]
bitcoin a asic miners
[101]
from china to the us after china's
[104]
crackdown on the bitcoin mining space
[106]
remember it wasn't very long ago over 6
[110]
000
[110]
pounds worth of bitcoin mining equipment
[113]
was sent to the state of maryland
[115]
i'm still trying to track down who that
[116]
was that got a hold of that
[118]
who knows remember we do have some
[120]
three-letter agencies here in maryland
[122]
nsa being one of them you don't suppose
[124]
they're getting into mining i don't know
[126]
who it is i'm
[127]
totally speculating there wild
[128]
speculation well here's something that's
[130]
not wild speculation i just went over
[132]
the ripple board the other day as a
[133]
reminder
[134]
for anyone new or anyone who's been in a
[136]
space a while
[137]
there have been changes but this is one
[139]
that's been on the on the board for
[141]
quite a while now anja manuel
[143]
and if you look at what she has done i
[145]
mean it is just an impress everyone on
[148]
the board is impressive
[149]
but here just for a second former
[151]
diplomat author and advisor on emerging
[153]
markets how about that one
[156]
anja emmanuel is co-founder and
[157]
principal along with former secretary of
[160]
state
[161]
condoleezza rice former national
[163]
security adviser stephen hadley
[165]
and former secretary of defense robert
[168]
gates
[168]
in rice hadley gates emmanuel llc a
[171]
strategic consulting firm
[173]
that helps u.s companies navigate
[175]
international markets
[177]
i could go on and on and on her resume
[180]
is remarkable
[181]
well you're about to hear her talk and
[184]
she is going to lay down some really
[186]
incredible stuff here
[187]
let's start with the 30-second mark i
[190]
believe it is hearing from
[192]
anja or anna however she says it manuel
[195]
of the ripple board
[197]
a ripple board member let's hear her
[199]
talk right here and she's going to lay
[200]
out what's going on
[202]
and see if this doesn't line up with
[204]
everything that is happening out here
[206]
that we're seeing today
[207]
go off video but i'm happy to pick up
[210]
exactly where sandy
[212]
left off because when you're talking
[213]
about financial inclusion
[216]
mobile payments all of those issues that
[219]
sandy was just talking about
[221]
china is in the lead you know we talk
[223]
about the tech race with china
[224]
in this area they are just ahead of us
[227]
um
[228]
sandy said that in 2017 something like
[231]
22 trillion
[232]
of transactions were done through mobile
[235]
in china well last year it was over 45
[237]
trillion
[238]
dollars that's more than twice as much
[241]
as when you add up
[242]
all of the transactions that visa
[245]
mastercard and paypal do
[247]
that's an impressive number by the way
[249]
that is just by comparison
[251]
so china is clearly in the lead
[254]
they've also done and it's gotten a lot
[256]
of press recently
[257]
they've just rolled out pretty much the
[260]
first
[260]
big country uh digital currency central
[264]
bank
[264]
digital currency the digital yuan and
[267]
it's it's
[268]
going pretty well they've done six or
[271]
seven million transactions
[272]
billions in r b value they're split
[275]
testing phase
[277]
it's an interesting system that's
[280]
helped with finance exactly as sandy
[284]
talked about
[285]
many many chinese have
[289]
bank accounts and this is one way to get
[292]
them into the formal financial system
[295]
this being china in an authoritarian
[297]
country it also has a little bit of a
[299]
dark side
[300]
so there's no privacy at all all of the
[302]
data is centrally controlled
[305]
and the chinese central bank now with
[308]
any transaction with the digital yuan
[310]
has perfect insight into who is sending
[312]
what to whom
[314]
so that means no dodging the capital
[316]
controls
[317]
when people trying to get money out of
[319]
china it means that you can discriminate
[322]
against people
[322]
if they're not high on this chinese
[325]
social credit score
[326]
you can surveil them financially all of
[329]
those things that
[330]
in the west we wouldn't really like but
[332]
it's moving ahead and it's moving
[334]
very quickly and an important piece of
[336]
this
[337]
the china digital yuan is that it also
[339]
allows
[340]
cross-border transactions so
[343]
international payments exactly what we
[344]
do here at ripple
[346]
without touching swift or
[349]
that's powerful listen to what she says
[351]
here because this has been a narrative
[353]
we talk about a lot on this channel
[355]
as well as the incentive the pressure
[358]
that's being put on the rest of the
[360]
world
[361]
by an authoritarian government like
[363]
china
[364]
releasing and moving out and being a
[366]
first mover advantage here
[368]
in the digital asset space with cbdc's
[371]
the international correspondent banking
[373]
system that is
[374]
super important because through swift
[377]
the us
[378]
and the west has basically had
[382]
a system
[384]
[Music]
[386]
if you don't do what we want iran or
[389]
north korea
[390]
you won't have access to the
[391]
international banking system people
[393]
won't bank with you
[394]
well that is becoming less and less
[396]
powerful partly through the digital yuan
[398]
and partly through other innovations
[400]
where people are just going around swift
[402]
because it's
[403]
slow and inaccurate in all those ways
[406]
that monica and christina are about to
[407]
talk about in bringing payments out of
[409]
the digital era
[410]
and just a reminder too you know it you
[413]
know talking about using the digital
[414]
wand
[415]
is one of those assets that they could
[416]
use to try to bypass the swift uh
[419]
wire bank wire bank wire system and you
[422]
know let us not forget that the brics
[424]
coalition is brazil
[426]
russia china uh india
[430]
and africa right so that coalition
[434]
and the strength of the digital yuan
[436]
it's not
[437]
just about china and their forward
[440]
motion
[441]
it's about the impact that they could
[442]
have serving that coalition as well
[444]
keep listening but this is a really key
[447]
point
[448]
because ripple is really at the cutting
[450]
edge of this so you guys should all be
[451]
really proud to work here
[453]
you know 75 of big global banks
[457]
especially u.s ones are pulling out of
[460]
the international correspondent banking
[461]
system
[462]
it's whoa did you hear that number 75
[466]
of banks are pulling out of the
[469]
correspondent
[470]
banking system how do you like those
[472]
numbers because i like them a lot
[474]
it's just too onerous the regulatory
[477]
requirements
[478]
are too painful and people say well it's
[480]
not worth it why should i have a
[481]
correspondent
[482]
pair with uganda or ghana or you know
[486]
chile why should first of all i'll just
[488]
go to get back to this 75 percent of
[490]
banks pulling out of the correspondent
[492]
banking system
[493]
the correspondent banking system is the
[495]
antiquated infrastructure currently used
[498]
on the planet for doing cross-border
[501]
payments
[502]
the willy-nilly spaghetti bowl of
[504]
getting payments done
[506]
and you never know where the payment's
[507]
going or where it's going or coming or
[509]
when it's going to get there
[510]
i have dealt with this wiring money to
[512]
china as i'm dealing with manufacturers
[514]
having products made in the past
[516]
and let me tell you something to say 75
[520]
of the banks are wanting or pulling out
[522]
of the correspondent banking system
[525]
that to me is a number that she is well
[528]
aware of and that is a
[529]
massive number let me just really
[532]
quickly if i could you know
[535]
you know in business if you want to
[538]
incentivize somebody or you want to put
[540]
pressure on a competitor
[542]
you don't need a hundred percent of the
[544]
market to do it
[546]
hell i had a situation where i was
[549]
contacted by the largest seller
[551]
of beach equipment because i imposed
[555]
10 percent pressure on their sales
[559]
i had 10 market capture of their sales
[562]
and i was talking within a handful of
[565]
weeks
[566]
with the owner and founder of that
[568]
company
[570]
75 percent of banks pulling out of the
[573]
correspondent banking system
[575]
is an incredible number
[579]
change is going to come is my point and
[581]
i think it's hers too
[583]
should i bother and so new innovations
[587]
like the chinese digital yuan like the
[590]
big
[590]
payments platforms in china could take
[592]
its place
[594]
on the u.s side what do we have i mean
[596]
if we had national champions in the us
[598]
which we don't of course ripple would be
[600]
it you know we could be
[602]
on the really positive side of this as
[605]
we start gaining traction
[607]
as and i don't have to tell you all
[608]
because you work here and you help make
[610]
this happen every single day but
[612]
we're designed as capable of disrupting
[616]
illicit transactions we do full
[619]
aml i see we can
[622]
counter corruption in developing
[624]
countries because
[626]
instead of sending cash people are
[627]
sending things assets digitally
[629]
we're helping with financial inclusion
[631]
all of that while safeguarding
[633]
um privacy and what's stopping us in the
[636]
u.s
[636]
i think through no malicious intent
[639]
but if you look at the maze of people
[642]
who regulate
[643]
people like us fintech companies banks
[646]
etc
[647]
cryptocurrencies it's very unclear
[650]
there's an alphabet soup of u.s
[653]
regulators working with this
[655]
none of them coordinating very well and
[657]
most of them not very well
[659]
versed in these new technologies or
[662]
um understanding of this global reality
[666]
that sandy and i just laid out
[669]
and there you have it and what i want to
[670]
remind people is is that
[672]
you know but there is backdoor meetings
[675]
and things happening we just learned the
[677]
other day that
[678]
you know there's a taxonomy act it's
[680]
moving back door through the
[682]
uh through congress and we know that uh
[684]
elizabeth warren has publicly come out
[686]
and ask gary gensler say you know
[688]
i'm paraphrasing what's your wish wish
[691]
list is for cryptocurrency regulation
[693]
you better get it to us because
[694]
something is about to come out
[696]
and and when when is that i don't know
[699]
and i don't pretend to know
[700]
but i do know that it is taking place
[704]
and there and you listen to the power of
[707]
what
[707]
china is achieving with the digital yuan
[710]
the united states and other governments
[713]
around the world
[714]
will not sit back and let that run and
[717]
run idle
[718]
while this remains out front you can bet
[720]
your bottom dollar on that
[721]
now here's jerome powell and some more
[723]
comments these are different comments if
[725]
you saw the video from this morning
[727]
these are different comments you're
[728]
going to hear from jerome powell from
[729]
the fed
[730]
about digital currency and stable coins
[732]
let's go ahead and take a look at this
[734]
and don't forget i'm about to share with
[736]
you the information for the sec ripple
[739]
hearing today
[741]
at 3 p.m stay with me here jerome powell
[743]
head of the fed on tether
[745]
ladies and gentlemen remember finance
[748]
the world's largest exchange
[749]
catching a lot of shade right now from
[752]
countries around the world
[754]
i don't think these things are mutually
[756]
exclusive
[757]
change is going to come you can feel it
[759]
thank you
[760]
i want to switch to uh stable coins and
[763]
pick up words from the country left off
[765]
specifically on tether
[766]
so in recent months there's been
[768]
increased scrutiny of the stable
[769]
coincidence due to concerns regarding
[771]
the assets backing the coin
[772]
particularly the amount backed by
[774]
commercial paper as opposed to us
[776]
dollars what the original said
[778]
um president rosengren has said that
[781]
you know tether does create a challenge
[782]
that we need to take seriously what
[784]
happens when people run
[785]
from these instruments very quickly do
[788]
you share these concerns and
[790]
is that the sort of thing that you'll be
[792]
uh looking at and providing guidance on
[794]
with the white paper yes absolutely yes
[798]
i mean
[799]
commercial paper you know we're
[800]
short-term overnight obligations of
[802]
companies and most of the time their
[804]
investment grade most of the time
[806]
they're very liquid it's all good
[807]
but in both of the last two financial
[811]
during the acute phase of the crisis the
[812]
market just disappears and that's when
[814]
people will want their money
[816]
so um you know we i just it's very
[818]
simple
[819]
these are economic activities that are
[821]
very similar to bank deposits and money
[823]
market funds and they need to be
[825]
regulated
[825]
in comparable ways
[829]
that's how i see it there you go
[833]
now let's listen to the other comment
[835]
here from jerome powell you wouldn't
[837]
need stable coins
[839]
you wouldn't need crypto currencies if
[841]
you had a digital us
[843]
currency oh really oh do tell
[846]
jerome dotel wouldn't you wouldn't need
[848]
stable coins you wouldn't need
[849]
cryptocurrencies if you had a digital us
[851]
currency i think that's
[852]
one of the stronger arguments in its
[853]
favor wouldn't there you go let's hear
[856]
it again
[857]
you wouldn't need stable coins you
[858]
wouldn't need cryptocurrencies if you
[859]
had a digital u.s currency i think
[860]
that's
[861]
one of the stronger arguments in its
[862]
favor and there you go
[864]
and i think all of that really to be
[866]
honest with you
[867]
is him you know in a roundabout way and
[870]
i'm
[870]
you know my speculation about his
[872]
thoughts and comments here
[874]
you know i believe they have it well
[877]
figured out how they are going to
[879]
frame this digital asset world this
[882]
isn't just about digital currencies
[884]
this is about digitization and
[886]
tokenization of
[887]
everything and i think they have for a
[892]
long time now
[893]
a at least a loose framework of how to
[896]
approach this
[897]
so they can frame it all in through
[900]
regulation
[901]
through a distribution network whether
[903]
it be broker dealer or otherwise
[905]
and begin to rein in this new emerging
[908]
asset class
[909]
to really introduce it to a real
[912]
regulated
[913]
asset class just like metals just like
[916]
stocks or bonds or any other products
[920]
that are offered out here in the world
[922]
now with that being said let's take a
[924]
look at this really quickly
[926]
this gentleman here jd says and it's
[928]
funny
[929]
targeting 13 dollar xrp say
[932]
what what
[936]
bring that on and he's got this looking
[939]
like somewhere around
[940]
you know the first quarter or so of 2022
[943]
and i got news for you i've made room on
[946]
my calendar for this
[948]
it's wide open bring it on baby
[952]
yeah and it's funny because we've seen
[954]
dark defender we've seen many other
[955]
technical analysts
[956]
share this number so something about the
[959]
charts they're using
[961]
putting a lot of these technical
[962]
analysts in the same position where they
[965]
see
[966]
between here cell targets between 13 and
[969]
50 dollars
[970]
you can see right over here and that is
[973]
pretty damn remarkable right there
[975]
so s i don't know what goes on i'm not a
[978]
chart expert but i appreciate all of
[980]
these technical analysts out here that
[981]
share
[982]
their findings and what they see on the
[984]
charts and i
[985]
find it really really to be strong data
[988]
when you see so many different technical
[991]
analysts
[992]
arriving at the same place when it comes
[994]
to xrp
[995]
price sooner or later all right now
[998]
here's what you've been waiting for
[1000]
james rule xrp and james k filing thank
[1003]
you to the both of you for sharing this
[1005]

reminder don't record it don't youtube
[1013]
stream it
[1014]
it's against the law and here is the
[1016]
information
[1017]
and the number that we all need and
[1019]
matter of fact i'm going to write it
[1021]
down right now for myself i haven't even
[1022]
had a chance to do it

[1032]
ladies and gentlemen you'll need that
[1034]
and i will hopefully be able to get in
[1037]
and reserve my spot before it starts
[1040]
this could reveal a actual judgment
[1044]
in the hearing we haven't had that
[1045]
happen as of yet really
[1047]
so this could be an exciting hearing
[1049]
today let's see what happens
[1051]
that's gonna do it for me ladies and
[1054]
gentlemen check out all the links in the
[1055]
description box and the comment section
[1057]
i trust capital is the best crypto gold
[1060]

[1064]

[1065]
they can make it happen for you and if
[1067]
you have a crypto ira where they are
[1069]
drilling you
[1070]

[1076]

[1079]
for me i'll catch all of you
