Whats My Net Worth? - YouTube
Channel: superspeedersRob
[0]
What's up everybody Rob Ferretti here and today's video is sponsored by Sheath. You're going to want to stick around for that one
[6]
Anyway. Today we are going to talk about my net worth and why are we talking about my net worth
[10]
I think it is a very tacky subject and usually I don't really have to respond to anything on the internet
[16]
but for some reason one of the most common searches second to what my wife looks like is what my net worth is
[23]
Why does it matter I have no idea, but then I was like alright lets see what happens.
[27]
Google Rob Ferretti net worth
[29]
.......
[30]
Comes up as 8 million dollars
[35]
Let me just say.
[37]
If I had half of that I'd burn every penny I have.
[40]
It It just so blatantly. Where this stuff comes from I have no Idea.
[45]
and
[45]
Most guys be like "Oh yeah this is cool. I like this. Everyone thinks I have more money"
[49]
There's no reason for me to make you believe I have more money than I do
[52]
There's no reason. Like
[53]
You have to understand that I came from nothing
[56]
Like I had
[57]
Zero dollars in my bank account. Zero trust account. Zero anything. There was no money
[61]
So
[61]
To build wealth takes a long time.
[64]
and to build wealth while spending money on toys and stuff like that takes even longer
[69]
So
[70]
If you go out and just say you got a great job. And I'm 36 now
[74]
But say you have a great job and you're making three-hundred thousand dollars and you're three-hundred grand
[79]
Woah three-hundred grand that's awesome
[80]
You're going to lose about thirty-five percent of that in taxes
[83]
So like lets just start doing the math now
[85]
So now maybe...I don't even have the calculator up but you're three-hundred grand
[90]
aaahh
[91]
that's nine. That's a hundred grand-- a hundred and five gr---thousand dollars in taxes you're about to lose
[95]
So now you're three-hundred becomes a hundred and ninety five thousand dollars
[100]
Right there. Off the bat
[101]
Now anything you buy you gotta pay taxes on. That's another seven percent you're taking down
[105]
So start thinking about all of that. And thinking about how much stuff you have to buy. You're making three-hundred grand a year.
[110]
What do you do?
[111]
You get a nice apartment. You get a nice house. You get a car. You get this, you travel. and then that money really disappears
[117]
and a lot of the stuff you spend money on. There's--There's different ways to approach spending money
[121]
Some people spend money just because they can
[124]
and they're like "ahhh you earn it and it's never going to end and I'm just going to go out and spend money"
[127]
and then there's the people who try to accumulate wealth
[130]
and I'm sort of one of those guys that try to accumulate wealth and that I want the money that I earn to sort of stick around somehow
[138]
I don't like to just spend it on---Let me get a fifteen hundred dollar night hotel room. Let me go here and buy this
[143]
I try to buy stuff that has value. I don't buy a lot of crap that I don't need. I don't buy a lot of depreciating assets.
[149]
Even all the cars I buy sort of maintain their value so that when I turn around and sell them I can get my money back
[156]
I can just get to enjoy the money more than just throwing it into the bank.
[160]
So
[160]
All of that being said. You have to realize that even for ten years if I was able to save fifty thousand.
[167]
We'll just say I'm making three-hundred thousand. This is completely hypothetical
[171]
But lets just say, Joe makes three-hundred thousand dollars a year. And he is able to save forty-thousand----fifty-thousand. Just say fifty-thousand of that
[180]
After ten years of making three-hundred thousand dollars a year and stashing away $50,000 that's only
[186]
half a million bucks-- in the bank then of
[188]
course you've got some assets you've
[190]
built up over time but far below
[193]
th-this hypothetical I mean I've only been
[195]
in the workforce for what 18 years or
[197]
something like that to assume that I
[199]
have or I have a worth of eight million
[201]
dollars is absolutely ludicrous and
[204]
that's why I wanted to sort of make this
[205]
video because I wouldn't have a YouTube
[208]
channel if I was worth eight-million-dollars
[210]
I wouldn't be making YouTube videos I
[211]
wouldn't be I probably wouldn't have to
[212]
work
[213]
I'd sort of be sitting there like the
[214]
rich kids of "name a television show" and
[217]
and pretending that i'm starting a clothing
[219]
line or something like that when i'm
[220]
doing nothing of the sort.
[222]
so that being said understand how
[224]
difficult it is to make money. Understand
[226]
how difficult it is to build wealth and
[228]
I am one of those guys who and everybody
[232]
assumes "oh you make some money so you
[234]
need the best of it you need the best
[235]
that" you have to if I can provide a
[237]
financial tip save where you can so you
[240]
could spend where you want that doesn't
[241]
mean you have to be frugal
[242]
across-the-board you can go splurge but
[244]
don't splurge on everything don't say "I
[246]
got to-- I've got this so I've got to
[248]
spend that and I'm going to stay here
[249]
I'm going to do that" pick the stuff that
[251]
really means something to you focus your
[254]
money there the rest of the time you don't
[256]
have to waste money you don't have
[257]
to spend money to prove the people you
[259]
have it go out there and and again
[262]
Save where you can to spend where you want
[264]
that's going to be the best way to accumulate
[266]
wealth now that we've got that out of
[268]
the way and I'm not going to get into what my
[269]
net worth is because I don't even really
[271]
know it in my accountant would know better
[273]
than I would but it is nowhere near
[276]
eight million dollars there maybe an
[278]
eighth in there somewhere but I don't
[281]
know which is along maybe the last digit
[283]
so that being said now we're going to
[286]
talk about sheath and the technical
[290]
definition of sheath is or the the
[293]
the dictionary definition a close-fitting
[296]
cover for something especially something
[298]
that is elongated in shape in particular
[301]
which is good because sheath makes
[305]
underwear. So the thing about the
[310]
sheath underwear which is really soft
[312]
by the way and the inside where is it
[316]
no skid marks thats good there is a little
[319]
pouch here that's in the front and in
[322]
this pouch goes your twig and berries so
[327]
when you're wearing your underwear
[329]
well there's a purpose behind that it's
[331]
not just to make your junk look big when
[332]
you're walking around being like "hey how ya doing
[334]
my junk is sticking out" it's it's up
[336]
there because it prevents your-- women
[339]
both of you please turn your heads when
[342]
you're walking
[343]
there's no friction between your sack or
[346]
your stick and your legs minimizes
[349]
sweating, more comfort it just it's just
[352]
a better scenario all the way around
[353]
they sent me these they sponsored this video
[355]
I wore these then wash them and
[360]
they're nice I like them. I support it if you
[362]
guys like the product go check it out if
[364]
you just want your junk to look bigger
[365]
when you're walking around in your boxers
[367]
check it out
[368]
if you don't want to sweat check it out
[369]
either way they're supporting me I'm
[372]
supporting them--one is supporting me and one pedep
[375]
you know what. whatever all supportive
[377]
of each other
[378]
thank you for watching--ahh--don't believe
[380]
everything you read on the internet unless
[381]
I write it in which case just take it
[383]
as gospel see you guys next time I
[385]
appreciate the support like the video if
[387]
you liked it dislike if you didn't like
[389]
it leave a comment below if it's smart
[391]
or stupid whatever it's your your keyboard
[394]
see you next time
[395]
thanks for making it through the whole
[397]
video I appreciate it if you like what
[399]
you saw like below comment below--ahh-- those
[402]
both help my videos go up in rankings
[404]
and that helped me out so thank you for
[406]
that if you don't enjoy it don't say anything
[408]
but since YouTube does its own like
[410]
things in the end here I have 20 seconds
[413]
in which to do that and that's going to
[414]
stop right now
