It's time for a test. I've got here the
Sam's Club Member's Mark razor, five

bladed razor and then the Kirkland
Signature razor from Costco. We're going

to see how the store-brand razors stack
up. And this is a big movement around the

country moving away from the dominant
nearly monopolistic Gillette to

alternatives like Harry's and Dollar
Shave Club, Kroger's gotten into the

action with their own private blades and
then the two giant warehouse clubs with

their own. So I'm going to shave on one
side with the Member's Mark from Sam's
[40]
Club the other side with the Costco
Kirkland Signature. Be prepared to

criticize how I shave. Oh this water is
too hot -- whoa. This is our test bathroom

so I'm not used to the water
temperatures. You know that Clark.com had its

own test bathroom. This is shaving cream
from Dollar Tree, it's a 14 ounce can

their private label for $1. You compare
that to what you pay for shaving cream

anywhere else. Will it come out? There it
is! Oh it's thick, don't need to use very

much. Good job Dollar Tree!

I know a lot of men think the only place
to shave is in the shower with a lot of

steam because you get a closer shave, but
we're not doing Clark naked in the

shower. So first up is, let's do the Sam's
Club right here. This is the Member's Mark. Very

And again it's just my guess that this
blade is made for them by Schick,

comparing with the Schick Hydro blade
looks like versus this Sam's Club

half here. You couldn't ask for a better

shave and I just had with this Sam's
Club razor. Now it's time to move on to

Kirkland Signature from Costco the
scrappy three blade challenger. Wow

that's very nice too. The thing about
these is the blades are so much cheaper

than buying the latest greatest Gillette
stuff.

It's a fantastic blade. Wow,
no ifs, ands and buts. I guess this should be in

this hand, then this hand. The Sam's Club
and the Costco -- Member's Mark, Kirkland

Signature both fantastic. I'd say that I
like the Sam's Club Member's Mark

slightly better than the Costco Kirkland
Signature but they were both fantastic

and they're both a great deal.

plop down all that huge money on
