Mr President, if Raila and Ruto unite there won't be peace in this country

so just try so that we can give Raila this one term

or even Ruto

but let's not allow those two to unite otherwise it will be a disaster that we cannot manage

the government is taking us back to the dark days during the Moi era we will not allow it

we cannot have a senator being traced to his home and even get arrested when we know that he is supposed to vote the following day

it is such a foolish thing on the side of the government and it's even embarrassing to the country

I want to ask the president not to take us back to those dark days

Cleophas Malala should have been arrested in Mumias where he was holding a rally

It was so wrong waiting for him to travel all the way to Nairobi then ambush him in his own house

I support one man one shilling but not slashing money meant for Turkanas and giving it to Kikuyus

and neither slashing money meant for Garrissa people and giving it to the Luhyas

and that is what Malala and the other senators are against

and it's Raila Amollo Odinga's strongholds that are being affected

today Mombasa's budget is being slashed, that is Raila's stronghold

Turkana is also Raila's stronghold

He said it clearly let's have a win win situation and not slashing anyone's budget

but if you slash a budget meant for some in Turkana or Garrisa how will they even feel when coming to Nairobi

we don't want a scenario of people travelling from Garissa or Turkana to Nairobi and saying that they are coming to Kenya

I want to ask the senators to stay strong, Raila my party leader condemned the brutal harassment of people

we are past those dark days

and to the police officers being used, know one day you will pay for your sins

the police should stick to their work, arresting criminals and not harassing someone all the way to Kakamega for over 7 hours

we have to move forward as a country

I am giving the senators an ultimatum of 5 days to conclude this revenue sharing bill

we want the hospitals to receive funds, Kenyans get access medical attention, water and move this country forward

You have been receiving allowance in your sittings and that's money meant for Kenyans

we are giving you an ultimatum of 5 days, Senetor Sakaja you are chairing the committee let's have this matter put to rest and move forward

Personally I am not sure if those people were arrested, politicians are crafty

Maybe Malala just wanted political mileage

he might have kidnapped himself, I don't know

Even honorable Lang'at might have used the same method because he wants to vie for governorship in Bomet

I am a politician too and in fact I might decide to kidnap myself or stab myself then blame it on my opponent

We want the government to tell us the truth, if Malala kidnapped himself or was arrested because with politicians you can expect anything

Politics in Kenya is like a dangerous game

But if it's indeed true they were followed to their homes and arrested then that's not the kind of government we want

Totalitarian kind of leadership is practiced in Magufulis regime

as well as during Idi Amin and that died long ago

Idi Amin was the last dictator we ever saw and he died, in Kenya we cannot accept that

but I also don't think President Uhuru Kenyatta could do such a thing

He is a youth just like us and the youngest president we ever elected so I doubt he could do such

We cannot have some people benefiting from our monies and building big hotels each day

they have been enriching themselves with bursary money meant for students who are here in Nairobi

we are not going to give bursary money to the trees that bill must pass if possible you can as well kidnap Sakaja to have that motion go through

Murkomen too should be kidnapped because he has been inciting other senators

For the first time we witnessed Raila and Ruto speaking the same language and condemning police for arresting those senators, what are your thoughts on that?

In politics there are no permanent friends or enemies and both Raila and Ruto are deeply experienced in matter politics

but I would just like to ask the president to be careful on how he is handling the two
