Last week I told you that President Biden
told congress that including a 4th stimulus

check in the build back better plan or the
American families plans would be up to congress.

Well there are now 80 members of congress
urging President Biden to not only do a one

time 4th stimulus check direct to the people,
but to do recurring stimulus checks direct

to the people.

Now I share all these news reports with you
because it is whats in the news.

However, I m not guaranteeing this is going
to happen or won t happen.

In Congress there is a committee called the
Ways and Means Committee.

Well this letter urged President Biden to
do recurring checks to help American s get

back on their feet after a long and stressful
year.

56 of the 80 in congress want to see $2000
recurring stimulus checks direct to the people.

This initivative is being led by representative
Ilan Omar of Minnesota.

Another group wants to see $2000 down and
$1000 a month until the pandemic is declared

over.

These new 10 or so in Congress did not specify
an amount, only that one more 4th stimulus

check direct to the people would be helpful
to the American people.

I could see them doing one more, I don t know
that I see them doing recurring and that s

the most opinion I m willing to share on this
news report.

Biden is wanting to have some concrete ideas
in place for the first infrastructure spending

bill by the end of this week.

This is the $2.3 trillion spending bill that
will focus on physical infrastructure.

Then there is the American families plan which
is a stimulus package that they are saying

is a social infrastructure bill because it
will focus on helping people by stimulating

areas of the economy or population those in
congress feel are lagging behind.

A few days ago President Biden said he will
not support the progressive democrats student
[330]
loan forgiveness plan.

Now Biden ran on a few promises, the $2000
stimulus check which became $1400, raising

benefits for social security, SSI, SSDI, forgiving
student loans and many more.

So at first I was disappointed to read this,
however, one word stuck out, he said he won
[360]
t support the progressive student loan forgiveness
policy.

So I believe the idea of forgiving $10,000
is still on the table but for now it looks

like Senator Schumer and Senator Warren s
$50,000 student loan forgiveness is too high
[383]
and too progressive for President Biden.

proposed $15,000 tax credit for first time

home buyers.

So this is still in the proposal phase and
would be a tax credit vs a grant or actual

money.

If you are buying your first home this credit
would give you 10% off the purchase of your

first home or $15,000.

$15,000 is the cap.

So basically it will give you a credit against
your taxes to lower your taxes owed.

It won t be a tax credit that is advanced
to you like the stimulus checks or the child
[487]
tax credit stimulus checks.

This will purely be a tax credit to lower
what you owe the IRS.

Over the weekend the Biden administration
offered a compromise to republican lawmakers.

They offered to lower the $2.3 trillion build
back better plan down to $1.7 trillion.

Citing they can compromise on a few things
that maybe don t qualify under the old definition

of infrastructure.

However, Republicans said the $600 billion
reduction still isn t enough and Biden s team

has significant wasteful spending that still
needs to be trimmed down.

Under no other president would these things
be considered infrastructure.

Now as far as the 4th stimulus check goes,
the 80 members of congress say it could fit
[563]
into the $1.8 trillion stimulus package or
American families plan.

With Republicans not wanting to increase taxes
on corporations or citizens, they say the

bill must be smaller.

President Biden and his administration will
have to soon decide whether to find common
[619]
ground and be the unifying president he promised
or against push through a bill by calling

on his democrat party to use budget reconciliation
to just push it through.

Certain Asian countries, including China as
the largest voice are for the first time saying

they are worried about the inflation that
could come to the United States based on the

amount of borrowing and spending being done.

China says they are back to work and have
been for months which will keep their GDP

growing naturally and not through government
debt.

They are telling the world to keep their eyes
on the US for inflation issues.

While china isn t fully wrong, they might
also be using this as an opportunity to continue

to work with more countries and cut the US
out on global trade.
