[0]
house republican leader kevin mccarthy
[3]
because mr leader all the action could
[6]
be on the floor of your house looking
[9]
straight ahead and by the way i i want
[11]
to thank you so much for your generosity
[14]
of time to come back today and give us
[16]
your update
[19]
well i'm glad to be back because it
[20]
changes minute by minute
[23]
they have a new bill with a new tax
[25]
every couple minutes here but remember
[27]
the damage is still there what they're
[28]
wanting to do do not view this as two
[32]
separate bills it is one bill and do not
[34]
view it as a bill that's less than two
[36]
trillion because what they're doing is
[38]
they're playing shell games it is still
[40]
the programs that are in there they're
[42]
dialing them back it's still going to
[43]
cost you 5 trillion and the biggest
[45]
revenue raiser to pay for this bill
[48]
is to spy on americans it is to make
[51]
sure they go after they add 87 000 irs
[56]
agents
[56]
that's bigger than the population of
[58]
scranton pennsylvania the president's
[60]
hometown simply to look at people if
[62]
they've had ten thousand dollars in the
[64]
last year that means if you spend twenty
[66]
eight dollars today
[68]
you meet that criteria
[70]
that's the 400 billion
[72]
i'm looking at one of the score cards
[75]
here yeah four you're right it's
[76]
absolutely out of the two trillion
[78]
they've identified in higher taxes
[81]
uh irs they call irs investments to
[84]
close the tax gap which is utter
[86]
nonsense um
[88]
kevin let me just ask you a couple
[89]
things as i saw it
[92]
biden president biden goes up to the
[93]
hill speaks to the democratic caucus
[95]
this morning
[96]
says please pass the infrastructure bill
[99]
and pass the human infrastructure bill
[102]
whatever build back better
[104]
uh i'm going to the climate conference
[106]
in glasgow and i you know i need to show
[109]
the world that we get things done and so
[111]
now we're meeting uh it's 4 p.m this
[115]
afternoon
[116]
and there's no votes on anything
[119]
so is that you know do i have that story
[122]
right nothing has happened
[124]
you have that story right this is going
[126]
to be like the old cartoon charlie brown
[129]
president biden's charlie brown nancy
[131]
pelosi is lucy holding the football he's
[134]
going to run up one more time like he
[135]
did last time when he came to capitol
[136]
hill she's going to pull the ball out
[138]
from under him he's going to fall flat
[140]
on his face on his back and what he
[142]
thought was going to be some hope that
[144]
sitting outside for for the foreign
[147]
countries is going to show that no the
[148]
democrats cannot run america that's why
[151]
gasoline's price is high that's why our
[153]
borders are open but now they want to
[155]
give 10 million people amnesty they
[157]
really are pushing today because they're
[159]
worried about the governor's race in
[161]
virginia that's what this is all about
[163]
and they're going to fail again
[166]
is there so i know you regard them as as
[168]
one package together
[171]
um but people were talking today pelosi
[174]
and others about an infrastructure vote
[177]
i guess trying to whip up uh progressive
[179]
leftist people to vote for it is there
[182]
going to be an infrastructure vote
[185]
i don't think they'll get an
[186]
infrastructure vote because what
[187]
the president and the speaker have said
[189]
always before you've got to view them
[191]
together now they change course and say
[193]
well let's vote on infrastructure and
[195]
they put some framework they call and it
[199]
changes by the hour of
[201]
what they put on the second bill and
[203]
they think the progresses after looking
[205]
at the framework would vote for the
[206]
infrastructure bill that's not going to
[208]
be the case here
[210]
too many taxes too much damage for this
[213]
country and
[214]
how do you put a couple trillion dollars
[217]
in a 2500 page bill and drop it today
[220]
and ask people to vote tonight
[223]
yeah well that's a good point so you
[225]
think an infrastructure vote not to
[227]
build back better but you think an
[228]
infrastructure vote would fail
[231]
i it will fail
[233]
that's right that's very important thank
[234]
you for that um they've been listening
[236]
to your show they want to save america
[238]
they want to kill the bill
[241]
would that that were true but thank you
[242]
for saying it sir we appreciate it very
[244]
much um you know this uh i know that
[247]
cinema and mansion or cinema
[249]
particularly center cinema whittled down
[252]
uh tax hikes got rid of the corporate
[254]
tax hike um
[256]
the capital gains tax hike and the uh
[259]
individual personal taxes but kevin as
[262]
undoubtedly you know
[264]
they've got a 15 minimum tax on
[266]
corporations they're taking the 20
[268]
deduction away from small businesses uh
[271]
they're trying or it's been discussed or
[273]
ron senator wyden still believes he can
[276]
get his retroactive uh you know
[279]
confiscate all my wealth
[281]
tax on unrealized capital gains and
[283]
they've got minimum taxes of 15 at home
[286]
and abroad so actually when it's all
[289]
said and done
[290]
this is a pretty high tax and therefore
[293]
recovery killing uh bill oh yeah and you
[296]
understand this
[297]
more than others at the end of the day
[299]
this bill will make china more
[301]
competitive than america and the other
[303]
thing that people don't quite realize
[304]
which you understood when you work down
[306]
the white house also the regulations and
[309]
think of all those regulations they're
[310]
bringing back that also harm businesses
[313]
they go after the manufacturers in
[314]
america so all those businesses that we
[317]
brought back to america by making
[319]
america competitive the forces of this
[321]
bill will push you to go to other
[323]
countries which is a disadvantage to
[325]
american workers when we're sitting and
[327]
looking at those ships out in california
[329]
trying to come in
[330]
what we really should look at in supply
[332]
chain is those ships shouldn't be coming
[334]
into america they should be being filled
[336]
with american products being shipped to
[338]
other countries but with this bill it
[340]
will make it a complete opposite
[343]
um
[344]
kevin let me let's ge i'm interested i i
[346]
tried to work my way through this
[348]
framework and i understand it's now a
[351]
legislative text 2500 pages and so forth
[355]
is
[356]
amnesty in this bill yes and is welfare
[360]
for illegal immigrants still in this
[362]
bill
[363]
yeah they still give amnesty for 10
[365]
million illegals and what they do is
[367]
they take away requirements like the
[369]
work requirement or the child credit
[371]
where you don't have to have social
[372]
security so what that means is if your
[375]
child is not an american the american
[377]
taxpayer will give you that
[379]
hard-earned money paying you back they
[381]
also take away the work requirement and
[383]
we've talked about this a lot those are
[385]
the type of things that do a
[387]
tremendous amount of damage especially
[389]
for small businesses but for the work
[391]
ethic in america
[393]
you know i thought the senate
[395]
parliamentarian
[397]
said to take out
[398]
amnesty and other issues related to
[401]
immigration i thought that's what she
[402]
said so now it's reappearing like magic
[405]
but but remember we're talking about the
[407]
house
[408]
so the vote in the house is different
[411]
the bill they just produced even though
[413]
they've heard that from the
[414]
parliamentarian inside that the rules
[416]
committee is looking at today provides
[418]
money to give amnesty for 10 million and
[422]
another point i want to ask you about
[424]
how much gimmicks how many gimmicks are
[426]
in here because i look down the
[427]
scorecard of spending on the spending
[430]
side and i think i'm seeing you know
[434]
three-year timelines or five-year
[436]
timelines i know i'm not seeing 10-year
[439]
timelines because the kitty the child
[441]
tax credit itself is a trillion dollars
[443]
over 10 years and it's nowhere near here
[445]
so the gimmicks are proliferating
[449]
you're correct and for for your viewers
[451]
what it means when you score something
[452]
what does it cost when you talk about
[454]
reconciliation it should be a 10 year
[456]
that you pay for it and that's why when
[458]
you looked at it prior it was over 5
[459]
trillion dollars all they have done here
[462]
instead of paying for something for 10
[464]
years or seven years they go two years
[466]
they want to put it into government
[468]
remember what your
[469]
your old boss ronald reagan said the
[471]
closest you ever come to eternal life is
[473]
a government program so what they're
[475]
doing is creating programs but not
[477]
paying for them and that's the gimmicks
[479]
that they continue to go around with
[483]
talk about economic growth from this if
[486]
this thing passes
[488]
with
[489]
degree of spending which is linked to
[491]
the inflation problem
[492]
and the high taxes uh which will
[497]
stop
[498]
people from working there's no incentive
[500]
there's no work incentive there's no
[501]
investment incentive it's just tax the
[503]
rich kind of stuff punish success kind
[505]
of stuff and also kevin there's they're
[507]
still fighting uh the grief for the
[509]
green neody despite what manchin tried
[511]
to pull out of here um there's still
[513]
massive subsidies for renewable fuels
[515]
and electric cars and so forth and so on
[517]
so you know what do you think this is
[519]
going to do the economy
[521]
well it's going to do exactly what they
[522]
have been doing to the economy given
[524]
there's a higher gas price we've had in
[527]
modern history at least seven years then
[529]
what you find here the greater
[530]
regulations the punishment when it comes
[532]
to the royalties and the critical
[534]
minerals to ever make us energy
[536]
independent but it's gonna
[538]
hyper inflation is coming if this bill
[540]
passes
[542]
there's no if ands or buts they have
[544]
created this inflation already and they
[545]
want to go further and then the idea
[547]
that how they're going to pay for it
[548]
with these irs agents
[551]
going after americans they're going to
[553]
stymie any capital from investments and
[555]
then their tax provisions are going to
[557]
make corporations decide not to make
[560]
those investments that remember after
[562]
our tax bill what happened
[564]
people were getting bonuses companies
[566]
were coming back to america people were
[568]
making investments those investments are
[570]
going to stop and they're not going to
[572]
explore as much as they had before
[574]
this is the real problem of what we're
[576]
seeing just more of whatever you saw the
[578]
numbers come back today the slowest
[580]
growth that we've had during recent time
[582]
period this is only going to stymie and
[584]
make it go the other direction yeah with
[586]
a big quarterly inflation number as well
[588]
well kevin mccarthy napoleon once said
[592]
i wasn't there so i gotta write this
[594]
down
[594]
never interfere with an enemy while he's
[598]
in the process of destroying himself and
[601]
that's just what the democrats look like
[603]
to me and i'm stunned that they can
[606]
after biden going up to the hill and all
[608]
that brouhaha they're not even voting on
[610]
anything and i think that's pretty
[612]
amazing but then again that makes me
[614]
happy that makes me very happy kevin
[616]
mccarthy you are terrific to help us out
[618]
today after all that's going on thank
[620]
you sir
[622]
thank you larry all right
