it was a waste of time i think

lots of people had the same opinion as

different digital coins so today one

month on i thought it'd be good to talk

through why i made each investment

discuss the profit

or loss and also explain how you can

invest if you're just a beginner all

for the algorithm so let's start off

with the original and the most

well-known cryptocurrency

bitcoin so it might seem strange after

being so against bitcoin and

cryptocurrency that i now have over 70

000 worth of bitcoin in my blotfire

account so i'm going to explain a little

bit behind my thought process about why

it's a good investment opportunity as i

mentioned before bitcoin is extremely

volatile which could be seen as a risk

but as the market fluctuates so much it

makes it much more interesting for me

the more i've been investing in bitcoin

i've noticed that it seems to find a

support level

and then it dips all of a sudden and

that gives me a chance to buy even more

bitcoin has also been adopted on a huge

scale with the likes of paypal now

fast tracking its rollout and allowing

all eligible customers in the us to buy

sell and hold bitcoin the more bitcoin

gets accepted by the mainstream

financial apps and software

the more it gets ingrained in our

society and therefore is unlikely to

drop below a certain value

something i've noticed when people talk

about cryptocurrency they often refer to

it as

bitcoin and the words are

interchangeable for a lot of people

i've even caught myself doing it a few

times this is because bitcoin has the

first mover advantage as it's the

original this is the same reason why the

iphone and the ipad are so successful

even once other technologies have caught

up they still have that advantage as

people know and trust them so

let's look at the hundred dollars i

invested in bitcoin during my last video

so we've made

32 return in one month which means we've

so far and by the time i post this video

it might be even more as bitcoin seems

to be having a bit of an explosion at

the moment now that could be down to

coinbase going public and

all the buzz around that and that

ethereum ethereum is the second most

popular cryptocurrency and also

my second largest investment in the

industries

and ethereum could have the same impact

on the way we pay for everything

the ethereum technology actually makes

your money smart

when you exchange your dollar for

ethereum it's almost like it goes into

the surgery room

just like that and it comes out with an

elon musk chip inside it

effectively giving it a brain i do

but it's a big reason why i think it's

slightly different from bitcoin and

isn't a direct competitor so it should

be able to grow

independently i think of it a bit like

they're both brilliant at the sports

they do but at the same time they're not

competing against each other

i also happen to love both of these

sports equally so i'm just going to put

bitcoin and ethereum

i've always thought this way since i

the bank manager that gave me the loan

believed in me and not necessarily in my

business plan i'm also very interested

in the fact that businesses seem to be

this therefore makes it harder for

these alternative coins may be less

popular but i believe it's important to

invest in a few as they have the

potential to really explode

like in the early days of bitcoin i used

and the process was pretty simple

the next alternative coin is litecoin

this is actually one of the oldest

cryptocurrency

and it's based on bitcoin's code i made

this investment as in theory it should

be superior to bitcoin however

it doesn't have that first mover

advantage so i'm not sure that it'll

ever catch up

one of the issues with bitcoin is that

it takes 10 minutes to make a payment

whereas litecoin is able to process the

same transaction in under one second

so just thinking about this in a

practical way it would be much more

convenient to pay for your shopping in

litecoin

rather than bitcoin as you wouldn't have

to wait at the till for 10 minutes

before you can take your shopping away

i'd end up eating all the food at the

checkout on the other hand i don't think

people see bitcoin as a way for paying

for everyday

items it's more of a store of value like

gold

i also think that ethereum is a superior

way to pay for things because of its

smart contract technology

saying this i did invest a hundred

dollars as a bit of an experiment

which is the best return yet of 52

this is another coin that is easily

bought through the coinbase app the next

investment i'm really excited about it's

called chain link

i decided to make this investment as i

personally believe that smart money is

where we're going in the future

if that reality becomes true then chain

link will be a crucial part of that

journey

chain link like the name suggests acts

like a link or

even a bridge between the new blockchain

technology and the old systems we still

use which aren't going to be going away

they're almost speaking entirely

currencies across borders

just think about it whenever you have to

top i certainly know that's annoyed me

in the past but stella is extremely

actually could be the solution to this

issue they've already built some major

relationships with big companies such as

and samsung even after all of this

they're relatively unknown and with an

extremely small market cap

compared to the big boys like bitcoin

and ethereum it's just an amazing

technology that's been used more and

more behind the scenes

still believe it will grow

upgrades itself seamlessly i believe

makes it a lot more versatile than a lot

investing and don't think i forgot

also invested in one full bitcoin

dollars however at the time of filming

over sixty two thousand dollars this is

a profit of just over fifteen thousand

dollars if i sold today

but i'm not going to do that because i

want to see it make 100k

bitcoin to the moon so i'm going to
