You have made citizens in your country refugees for the last 30 years
[4]
And you talk about CAA and NRC
[6]
The main thing is that until the last vote is collected on this issue
[9]
till then the Kashmiri pandits will remain in speeches, not in their homes.
[12]
In the same Jammu and Kashmir, you've given 3000 acres of land
[15]
to the Industry and Commerce Department for the investment.
[18]
But all the powers fail when it's time to give 200 acres to Kashmiri Pandits
[23]
Congress has unlocked the door of Babri Mosque in Ayodhya
[25]
We started seeing Islamic and religious flags instead of Kashmiri separation flags.
[30]
People raise their arms when it's about their daughters and sisters and when
[32]
it's about their religion. This is the reason why religion became primary in Kashmir
[37]
They had to flee leaving all their belongings as if there was a storm
[41]
On 21st January, Muslims reached Gawkadal bridge shouting slogans
[46]
26000 thousand soldiers have been martyred due to Kashmir
[48]
And 7000 to 8000 soldiers have been martyred in that valley.
[51]
Nobody cares about that.
[53]
Because it's not a vote bank. Hurriyat who talks about the separation of Kashmir
[57]
The government has spent 484 crores Rs on its security.
[62]
It's not like there have always been these many religious riots in Kashmir
[65]
People used to live very lovingly
[67]
From 1983 to 1990,
[69]
during these 7 years, some people made such condition
[72]
due to which this big incident occurred with Kashmiri Pandits.
[75]
So in reality, who was behind the incident?
[77]
And what are the reasons? Let's discuss.
[78]
Don't get into this that I've said Kashmiri Pandit and not Hindus
[82]
I've said exodus and not genocide. See, I don't have any problem with that
[85]
I just want you to decide from your understanding at the end of the video
[88]
that what happened in reality. And for sometime
[91]
I want you to keep aside your ideology and try to understand
[95]
what happened there actually. So the first thing is who are Kashmiri Pandits?
[99]
Before the 13th century, the population of Kashmir
[101]
were Hindu.
[102]
So around the 14th century,
[104]
when Muslim rulers ruled
[106]
Kashmiri Pandits left Kashmir at that time
[108]
and came back later
[109]
They are called en masse. This was the first exodus
[113]
and this was the first attack on Kashmiri Pandits.
[114]
Exodus means going from one place to another in mass.
[118]
And the ones who didn't flee and stayed there are called bal de masse
[120]
And the third is buher pandits who do business etc. After Muslim invasion
[125]
almost after 150 to 200 years, the majority became Muslim there.
[128]
According to the 1981 census, 4.43% Kashmiri Pandits were there around 124000.
[135]
The percentage increased slightly in 1990.
[138]
So we'll discuss what happened between 1983 to 1990
[143]
See, after the death of Sheikh Abdullah, his son Farooq Abdullah became
[146]
the CM of Jammu and Kashmir. And after that in 1983, elections were
[149]
conducted in which Farooq Abdullah formed the government with Congress
[153]
He became CM in that. There's one thing about Farooq Abdullah when he used
[156]
to go to Delhi, he always said that Kashmir would remain with India forever.
[159]
And he said the same to Pakistan. And he talked about the separatist in Kashmir.
[165]
There's one benefit of this
[166]
Everybody thought that he is talking about them
[168]
The name of the party of Farooq Abdullah was National Conference
[171]
And there was his brother-in-law Ghulam Mohammad Shah in his party.
[174]
He used to dream about becoming CM. And congress knew this thing very well.
[178]
Ghulam Mohammad dreamt of being the CM. And Ghulam Mohammad made
[182]
a new party Awami National Conference by breaking the MLA of National Conference
[186]
And Congress broke the alliance with Farooq Abdullah and made
[189]
a party with Ghulam Mohammad and made him a CM. Why did Congress do this?
[194]
Farooq Abdullah was not in control of congress properly. He talked about all sides.
[199]
Congress thought that a CM should be the person
[201]
who will act according to them. That's why they made Ghulam Mohammad CM
[205]
But it went the opposite. And according to the experts, this was
[207]
a major blunder of congress. Ghulam Mohammad acting according to congress
[212]
was far away but he started religious talks. He started supporting separatists.
[216]
Now, who are these separatists?
[217]
Separatists means the people who want Kashmir to be a separate nation.
[221]
These have many types too. The first is the people who want Kashmir
[224]
to become a part of Pakistan. The second is the people who want it to be a
[227]
separate nation. So, there are many groups but please remember these 3 groups
[232]
The first is JKLF, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.
[235]
The second is Hizbul Mujahideen and the third is All Party Hurriyat Conference
[239]
It is called Hurriyat in short.
[240]
JKLF says that they will take freedom by raising arms and
[243]
we will neither join India nor Pakistan. They are asked if they are freed
[248]
then how will you run the country, what will be the defense and finance management?
[252]
How will the import-export be done? So they don't have an answer to this.
[255]
But they want to be separated. Even though if you talk to any expert all over the world
[258]
Then they will say it is not possible for any country to remain
[261]
independent at such geographical locations.
[264]
if we talk about Hizbul Mujahideen
[265]
then they say that they want to join Pakistan and be separated from India
[269]
You may have heard many freedom stories but have you heard
[271]
that we want to come under another countries' flag after freedom?
[274]
You may have understood that it is a Pakistani-backed organization by its ideology.
[277]
And Hurriyat says that we want to be separated neither we want to be with Pakistan
[281]
nor India. But we want to resolve this issue by talking. We will not take weapons.
[285]
It is somewhat complicated at the moment but gradually you'll understand
[289]
how was the planning done? Rather than acting according to Congress Ghulam Mohammad
[293]
explained to Muslims that see the population of Kashmiri Pandits are
[295]
less but then also they are on every post, lawyer, judge, professor
[299]
And this is true that Kashmiri Pandits are a quite literate population
[302]
During the time of The Muslim invasion also, Kashmiri pandits were kept in the administration
[306]
During the same time, in the year 1986, congress unlocked the Babri Mosque
[310]
in Ayodhya so that the Hindus can perform their religious rituals there.
[313]
Congress was helpless because of the Shah Bano case of that time
[316]
They made Muslims happy at that time but
[319]
Hindu voters were against this. To balance that, they unlocked the Babri Mosque
[324]
But the problem that occurred was that
[325]
more riots broke out in Kashmir due to this.
[327]
Now you may think that Ghulam Mohammad wanted to become Chief Minister
[330]
And he became chief minister then why was he doing all this?
[334]
He wanted to become a chief minister but forever
[338]
He knew that there were more Muslim community
[340]
And if he will talk about them then people
[341]
will get him to win every time regardless of the congress being there or not.
[344]
The same politics that goes on all over India. One day, Ghulam Mohammad came
[348]
and said the area of New Civil Sachivalaya has an old temple,
[351]
a grand mosque will be built after demolishing it.
[354]
Kashmiri Hindus protested against this and it rose to a level that led to the riots.
[359]
This was the second time when Kashmir Hindus were attacked. First time was
[363]
when the invasion occurred in the 14th century and this was the second time.
[365]
And due to this, voices had been raised against Kashmiri Hindus. It got so much
[370]
that congress realized its mistake and on 6th March 1986, Ghulam Mohammad was
[374]
removed and governor rule was implemented. At that time, Jagmohan was the governor
[378]
He remained a governor from 1984 to 1989. He used to do exactly what the government
[383]
told him to. So he was the governor during the Congress and when the alliance
[387]
government of BJP came, at that time also he was the governor. He was made a governor.
[390]
He joined the BJP later. So you can say that he was on BJP's side.
[395]
Farooq Abdullah gave a statement to the Times of India on February 7th, 1991
[399]
that yes, I told people to get training and cross the border and make sure that
[402]
Jagmohan couldn't catch you. Pakistan's PM Benazir Bhutto was giving
[406]
threats to Jagmohan. So we can get an idea that he may have caused some trouble.
[412]
TV news
[417]
Ghulam Mohammad was removed
[418]
but enmity increased during these two years.
[421]
All the separatists came together and
[423]
all of them decided to contest in the elections. We will act according to ourselves
[427]
They formed a party called MUF, Muslim United Front
[431]
When the elections came in 1987, so this time MUF also contested in the elections
[436]
MUF has made a huge vote bank on its side by doing religious talks
[439]
And Pakistan also supported MUF.
[442]
But congress couldn't afford them to win because it was about national security
[447]
The leaders of the same MUF who contested in the elections became very big terrorists
[451]
And Farooq Abdullah cared only about becoming a CM.
[454]
That's why congress and Farooq Abdullah left their past behind and
[457]
they both came together.
[459]
The results of the elections came
[460]
and Farooq Abdullah and Congress again made their government
[463]
Farooq Abdullah became a CM once again.
[465]
Now MUF said that the elections are rigged. They have been cheated on
[468]
Now you'll say that this is the story of every election. This happens everywhere
[471]
But the proof that came, common people got very angry after seeing them
[476]
The place from where Farooq Abdullah contested the results came in a maximum of 3 hours
[479]
from there. And the place from where MUF contested took a lot of time.
[483]
At some places counting was done, MLA went home after losing.
[486]
Later on, they were called and told that they'd won. Report of BBC came and it was
[490]
said that the Congress leaders accepted that there was something wrong with the voting.
[494]
The people who were on election duty told that all this was going on in front of them.
[497]
And the limit crossed when Farooq Abdullah who became CM due to that result
[502]
He accepted this later.
[503]
After that, MUF protested on a large scale. Instead of punishing the people
[508]
because of whom the elections were rigged, the government started to put MUF leaders in jail.
[511]
Yasin Malik who belonged to MUF also went to jail during that time.
[515]
When people came to know about this then they sympathize with the separatist leaders.
[520]
And they got angry with the government. And the biggest loss of this was the
[523]
fact that the separatist leaders said they don't want to get involved in politics.
[526]
Getting involved in politics is a waste of time and now we will take freedom by raising arms.
[530]
All the parties that were against the government and the separatist came together.
[534]
And the government was on the backfoot. JKLF got activated on a huge level
[538]
All the young Kashmiris were sent to Pakistan for training purposes
[542]
The MUF leaders who were fighting the elections became terrorists later on.
[545]
Their main leader Syed Salahuddin became the
[548]
main commander of Hizbul Mujahideen
[549]
During the same time, superpower Russia was sent back by Afghanistan after losing.
[553]
And this happened because America took support of Jihad
[555]
and delivered training, money, and arms to Afghanistan through Pakistan
[559]
The model explained by America to Pakistan for Afghanistan
[563]
The same model was used by Pakistan for India. The money and arms
[566]
received from America, some portion of that was sent to Kashmir
[570]
Pakistan was explaining to the Kashmiris that
[572]
if a superpower can be defeated by Jihad then what is India.
[575]
And these things were said by Pakistani PM on record.
[578]
TV news.
[592]
And this was the reason behind why
[593]
we started seeing
[595]
Islamic and religious flags instead of Kashmir separation flags.
[597]
And the Kashmir separation movement took a religious turn.
[600]
And anti-India sentiments were converted into anti-Hindu sentiments.
[604]
This proxy war is so feasible
[605]
that it has become a trend all over the world.
[608]
Local people of the country are manipulated to go against the government,
[610]
influence them, give them arms and cause instability and cut that state from the country.
[615]
If you want to do people of the country against the government
[618]
Then you'll say that roads are damaged here, education is not good here.
[621]
Then people will not raise weapons. People raise arms when it is upon their
[623]
sisters and daughters, when it's about their religion. And this is the reason
[627]
why religion became primary in Kashmir. Pakistan supported JKLF in every way
[633]
They talked about religion but they killed both Hindus and Muslims.
[636]
Their motive is the same that whoever will talk about India or join India
[641]
should be killed regardless of who he is. If you've seen the interview of Bitta Karate
[644]
Then he has said clearly that he had killed both Hindus and Muslims
[650]
were all Kashmiri Pandits or did you kill Muslims too?
[652]
Muslims too
[653]
And if we talk about the locals then these people have brainwashed some of them
[657]
And some of them did the informant work due to greed. Assume there is a Kashmiri Pandit,
[661]
His house is big, the shop is big and has a lot of lands. So get him killed by informants
[665]
And take the benefit of his shop and house. There's a very famous name Mohammad
[668]
Farooq Shah. He was Mirwais of that time. Mirwais means the head of the Kashmir Jama Mosque
[675]
This is a very important post and they have many followers.
[678]
So they said that Kashmiri pandits shouldn't be sent outside Kashmir.
[681]
So he was also killed by militants.
[683]
And after this, Mirwais was made in such a way that
[686]
who will talk against India. The Mirwais now is politically active
[689]
He has made a political party by joining small parties
[692]
called All Party Hurriyat Conference
[694]
Yasin and all had joined Hurriyat and left the weapons.
[698]
Hurriyat said that we will get Kashmir separated without raising any arms.
[702]
Because the Indian army has tackled the ones who raised their arms.
[705]
The local Muslims of Kashmir had the advantage that they will not get killed
[709]
until they will not do such activities which will show that they are with India.
[713]
And Kashmiri Pandits had the disadvantage that militants were convinced
[717]
that they were on India's side. But they got killed even when they stay silent
[721]
Pakistan knew very well that it had lost in the two wars. It is a proxy war that is feasible
[727]
That's why it was supporting JKLF in every way. Now you will say that JKLF
[731]
said that Kashmir should be separated and made a separate nation.
[734]
Neither should it be joined with Pakistan nor India. Then why is Pakistan helping them?
[738]
Pakistan used JKLF after that
[741]
it stopped their funding and made a new group called Hizbul Mujahideen
[745]
Their only motive was to separate Kashmir and merge it with Pakistan.
[749]
See, small fights and murders were going on but the main fight started
[753]
when they started killing famous Kashmiri Pandits who were at high posts
[757]
So that people would be terrified.
[758]
In September 1989, they killed Pandit Tika Lal Taploo who was a famous BJP leader
[764]
In October they killed Neelkanth Kajloo who was a retired judge.
[768]
He gave a death sentence to Maqbool Butt
[770]
They crossed all the limits on 8th December. They kidnapped the daughter
[774]
of India's home minister and released their 5 terrorists.
[777]
After doing all this, the confidence of militants was reaching the sky
[781]
They have brought the whole government of India on their knees.
[784]
And then also they didn't stop
[785]
They showed their savagery
[787]
They marched wearing masks and carrying AK 47.
[790]
They shouted slogans of Ralif, Salif, and Galif
[793]
They were roaming around the roads carrying AK 47
[796]
Police used to hide at the sight of them. On 4th January they got the newspaper
[800]
printed saying that the Kashmiri Pandits should leave the valley. Alsafa, an Urdu newspaper
[803]
published this for many days. Announcements from Mosques were made
[810]
A hit list was pulled
[811]
which contained the names of reputed Kashmiri Pandits
[814]
that they will be killed. But the most terrifying night was
[817]
the night of 19th January, the chain of events occurred on that day
[820]
It felt like all of this has happened under proper planning
[823]
Before 1.5 months a government came with the support of the BJP
[826]
And on 19th November, Jagmohan was made governor and sent to Kashmir.
[831]
And on the same day, Farooq Abdullah resigned.
[834]
The capital of Jammu and Kashmir used to change
[836]
every 6 months at that time.
[837]
Jammu in winters and Srinagar in summer.
[840]
All the government officials were in Jammu at that time.
[842]
And Jagmohan who was governor couldn't reach Srinagar due to bad weather.
[846]
If you see at that particular time then neither there was the government in Kashmir
[850]
And nor any authority.
[852]
It felt like Kashmiri Pandits were left to get killed in the valley
[856]
Pakistan said that it has nothing to do with it
[858]
And it is the people who are doing all this because they are fed up with the government.
[862]
People of Kashmir cannot do it in this much-planned manner.
[864]
They don't have this much understanding that a new government has come
[867]
There is no authority on 19th January. Rajesh Pilot reported Rajya sabha
[871]
In which from 1990 to 1993, 150 rocket launchers, 1926 AK type rifles
[877]
710 pistols, 5248 grenades,
[881]
643 mines, and
[882]
44 walkie-talkie sets were found.
[884]
All these things require money and the people of Kashmir don't have this much money.
[887]
And if they got money then they are not scientists that they will develop these by themselves
[891]
So everybody knew what Pakistan had done even after Pakistan denied everything.
[895]
On 19th January, most murder, rape, and shops were looted
[898]
They had to flee leaving all their belongings as if there were any storm.
[903]
When all this happened during the night of 19th then on 20th January
[905]
lakhs of Kashmiri Hindus started to leave the valley.
[908]
And in March and April, 2700 Kashmiri Hindus left in the valley.
[912]
They started to live in camps leaving their house and lands.
[915]
The people who had money and their relative's support managed everything
[918]
but those who didn't have money are waiting to come back home for the last 30 years
[922]
They thought that this is just for a week or two, the situation is bad now
[926]
Then we'll go back to our homes. But it has now been 30 years
[929]
And they couldn't come back to their homes till now.
[931]
On 21st January, Muslims reached Gawkadal Bridge shouting slogans
[935]
And they were going towards Lal Chowk. The CRPF soldiers stopped them
[939]
and gave them a warning but it got so much that open firing started.
[943]
And Muslims had to lose their lives.
[946]
According to the reports of India, 28 deaths occurred.
[948]
And according to an International Human Rights organization
[951]
50 deaths occurred.
[952]
And according to the survivors, 280 people were killed.
[956]
Some Muslims didn't want Kashmiri Hindus to leave the valley.
[958]
The reason is the former authorities in the valley reported to the governor
[963]
that some Muslims have come to them and demanded that Kashmiri Pandits
[965]
shouldn't be sent outside and they should be stopped. Because if they'll go
[970]
then the army will get a free hand for the proceedings.
[973]
The people who are against Jagmohan said that
[975]
Jagmohan encouraged Kashmiri Pandits to go
[979]
and even provided the transport to drop them at the camp.
[982]
So this was done intentionally so that the army will get the free hand to control that area.
[987]
And the people who were in support of Jagmohan
[988]
said that he did absolutely the right thing.
[990]
because if he hadn't done this then many more lives could be lost
[993]
Debates are going on about the data. Someone's tweeting that Muslims died more
[996]
some are tweeting more Hindus have died. 26000 soldiers have been martyred due to Kashmir.
[1002]
And 7000 to 8000 have been martyred in that valley.
[1004]
Nobody cares about that because it is not a vote bank.
[1007]
When PP Kapoor filed RTI then the official data was
[1010]
that 89 Kashmiri Pandits have lost their lives because of militants.
[1014]
The RTI filed by PP Kapoor
[1016]
in that 1989 was not mentioned. Only 1990 was mentioned.
[1019]
Only this year was mentioned. When they are asked about both the years
[1022]
219 Kashmiri Pandits have lost their lives due to militancy.
[1026]
But the actual survivor
[1028]
If their records are to be asked then
[1030]
according to them, this number was in thousands.
[1032]
According to the reports of 2011, approx 1.5 lakhs Kashmiri Hindus have left Kashmir
[1036]
18735 Muslims also left Kashmir
[1039]
These Muslims were government officials
[1042]
Or were supporting Kashmiri Hindus
[1044]
Or they were talking about joining India.
[1046]
So the thing is whose fault is it?
[1048]
It is a complete failure of government and administration
[1051]
You can assume that
[1053]
when you choose a weak government then what can be its consequences
[1057]
If VP Singh would've wanted, he could send the army in December
[1059]
when the report of intelligence was released but he was scared
[1062]
that when they've brought home minister on his knees then anything
[1064]
could happen to me. Farooq Abdullah released 70 terrorists from jail in 1989.
[1069]
Later on, they caused huge damage
[1071]
Nobody asks them about this.
[1073]
Hurriyat who talks about separating Kashmir
[1075]
The government spent 484 crores on its security
[1079]
21 crores were spent on a luxury hotel
[1082]
And 26 crores were spent on its transportation.
[1084]
sometimes it feels like the government is joking around with the people.
[1087]
You say that why Kashmiri Hindus haven't raised the weapons?
[1089]
These were not your colony's religious riots. Very big powers were involved in this.
[1095]
If the money and weapons equal to fight a war with a country was given
[1099]
Then also they couldn't win because when our government is seeing the drama
[1103]
then nothing can be done in this. Till today, in India, many governments came and go
[1107]
Whether you take the recent government or earlier government
[1110]
Some made a fool of us and some took the credit but did half the work.
[1113]
You've made your citizens a refugee for the last 30 years
[1117]
And you talk about CAA and NRC.
[1119]
Your oil is on the floor and you are passing the utensil to some other.
[1122]
In 2015, the government said that we will bring them back
[1125]
It's been more than 7 years but only 15 ℅ of construction work has been completed
[1129]
In the same Jammu and Kashmir, you've given 3000 acres of land
[1132]
to Industries and Commerce Department for the investment
[1135]
But all the powers fail when it's time to
[1136]
take 200 acres for Kashmiri Pandits.
[1141]
In the manifesto of 2014,
[1143]
In the manifesto of 2019,
[1144]
It is mentioned in every manifesto that Kashmiri Pandits will be given land
[1148]
But they didn't get the land till today.
[1150]
Everybody knows that nobody reads that manifesto.
[1152]
The main thing is that until the last vote on this issue is collected
[1156]
Till then Kashmiri Pandits will remain in speeches and not in their homes.
