[4]
hello everyone welcome to the financial
[6]
information channel in this video I'm
[9]
going to give you the information about
[11]
an economic mode and what it means in
[13]
the stock market and I'm going to
[15]
mention five ways that you can identify
[17]
an economic mode in a stock now let's
[20]
begin with the video and the mode is
[23]
having the advantage over all the
[25]
companies in the industry and you know
[27]
that you have chosen a good company when
[29]
that company has an advantage over other
[31]
companies in the same sector and I'm
[34]
going to mention the five ways that you
[36]
can identify when a company has an
[39]
advantage over other companies and one
[41]
of the modes is having an intangible
[43]
asset and one of those assets can be
[46]
brand recognition and some companies do
[49]
an excellent job of keeping the lawyer
[51]
customers in their database for example
[54]
when up one-ounce a new product you know
[57]
that the product is going to sell well
[58]
the price of the products might be a
[60]
little bit too high however since there
[63]
are a lot of loyal customers the
[65]
products tend to sell really well and
[67]
the brand recognition can be to
[68]
different companies for example like
[70]
Google and just right now you are
[72]
watching this video on YouTube and
[74]
YouTube is owned by Google which has a
[77]
strong brand as well so having that
[79]
strong base of loyal customers pays off
[82]
for those company and this is very
[84]
similar in real life for example if
[86]
you're a sports fan and you follow
[88]
baseball you want to be watching your
[90]
favorite team on the TV or you're going
[92]
to go to the stadium to support your
[94]
team and one of the reasons is that you
[97]
identified with whatever team you
[99]
support and that is the first economic
[101]
mode now let's go to the next one which
[103]
is patents and patents is having an
[106]
intellectual property protection and one
[109]
of the companies that I recommended back
[111]
in June was always all the companies
[113]
might have the ability to create the
[115]
same display as long as universal
[117]
displays agree to those terms
[120]
in addition Universal displays is gonna
[123]
receive an amount if they allow other
[125]
companies to create those screens now
[127]
keep in mind that Universal displace
[129]
might be the only one that can create
[131]
those screens if they want to
[133]
and I'm going to mention one of the most
[135]
popular patents in the stock market and
[138]
that patent is owned by Amazon if you
[141]
ever been to the Amazon website you know
[143]
that you can purchase an item with one
[146]
click and the one-click patent was
[148]
granted to Amazon in 1999 I like I
[151]
mentioned before Amazon had that option
[153]
to allow other companies to use that
[155]
patent in the year 2017 Apple is paying
[159]
Amazon to use that patent in the App
[161]
Store and that is reason why patents are
[163]
important he creates a clear advantage
[165]
and the next economic or business mode
[168]
is gonna be the cost advantage now in
[171]
this mode we are gonna go back to Amazon
[174]
and the reason we're going back to
[175]
Amazon is because amazon offers really
[178]
low prices and I'm gonna put on the
[180]
screen and graph where the customers
[182]
begin their product search and as you
[184]
see in the screen Amazon has a clear
[186]
advantage and from 2015 to 2016
[190]
the company has increased the product
[192]
search by 11% unlike I mentioned before
[195]
Amazon had a history of offering
[197]
products at a really low cost and other
[200]
companies have that advantage as well
[202]
McDonald's is another example Mac donors
[205]
offer fast food and a low price and you
[208]
have to remember that other companies
[209]
have the low cost advantage in their
[212]
favor and I know the company is Walmart
[214]
Walmart dominated the retail business
[216]
because of the low cost product so that
[219]
is another economic or business mode in
[221]
the stock market now let's go to the
[224]
next one and the next mode in the stock
[226]
market is having high switching cost and
[228]
the high switching cost makes the
[231]
customers they stay in their company and
[233]
some examples can be the a
[235]
telecommunication stocks let's say that
[237]
you have a two-year service agreement
[239]
with a telecommunication company and
[242]
let's say that our company is AT&T and
[244]
let's say when you ended up signing up
[246]
with AT&T you ended up getting an iPhone
[249]
if you end up leaving that contract
[251]
before the two years you're gonna get
[253]
charged an early termination fee and
[255]
usually you'll be charged an early
[257]
termination fee of around 350 dollars
[260]
for any smartphone so that actually
[263]
makes it hard for customers to leave
[265]
that company for the competition and
[267]
and other business or economic mode now
[269]
let's go to the last one and the last
[271]
one is very simple is the network effect
[274]
and how the network effect works is that
[277]
the more you search the company has the
[279]
easier that the company is gonna create
[281]
revenue and one example is gonna be
[283]
Facebook Facebook monetize it users and
[286]
I'm gonna put on the screen so you can
[287]
see the numbers and how the company has
[290]
increased the revenue producer and this
[293]
graph that you see is in the Facebook
[295]
Investor Relations page now the numbers
[298]
are from the fourth quarter of 2016 and
[301]
as you see these numbers are in the
[302]
North America region and that includes
[304]
the United States and Canada based on
[307]
the fourth quarter of 2016
[308]
faith will generated $19 with 81 cents
[312]
per user most likely that number will
[315]
increase once facebook announces the
[317]
number in 2017 and those are the five
[320]
economic modes that i look in a company
[322]
now you have to keep in mind that modes
[324]
don't last forever
[326]
you have to evaluate the business of a
[328]
company and think if the company has got
[330]
a better or worse throughout the years
[332]
and I'm going to ask you in the comment
[334]
section below what other things are you
[336]
looking at stock before investing and
[339]
remember you can subscribe to the
[341]
financial information channel wanna
[343]

[345]
market personal finance and how to make
[347]
money online and I'm going to thank you
[349]

[351]
excellent day and take care my friends
