FREE Real Estate Listing Websites (ALTERNATIVES to Craigslist, Facebook & Zillow) 馃挵馃馃彉 - YouTube

[0]
hey guys what's going on this is Seth
[1]
from Ari tipster come and if you're
[4]
anything like me you can always use
[6]
another place to not only sell your real
[9]
estate but also to find real estate
[10]
deals and I think a lot of us are pretty
[13]
well aware of websites like Facebook
[15]
Craigslist Zillow those it kind of like
[18]
the big three that everybody uses at
[20]
some point
[21]
and those are all great I mean those
[22]
legitimately are like the big boys that
[24]
get like the most traffic and the most
[26]
attention so you know there's a good
[28]
reason why those are known as the big
[30]
three but something you might not know
[32]
is that there's actually dozens and
[34]
dozens of other ad posting websites that
[37]
are free that function a lot like
[39]
Facebook Craigslist and Zillow and
[42]
granted these do not get nearly the same
[44]
amount of attention or traffic but
[46]
there's still stuff going on there and
[48]
it might just be worth checking out I'm
[50]
not gonna tell you that you're gonna
[51]
like skyrocket the growth of your
[52]
business but I mean it's free you know I
[55]
mean who can't use another free option
[57]
so just in case you've never heard of
[59]
these I just want to make sure that
[60]
you're aware of them I've used most of
[62]
these a little bit some of them I
[65]
haven't used at all but something they
[66]
all have in common at least at the time
[68]
of this recording is that you can post
[70]
ads on there for free which obviously
[73]
also means you can find other peoples
[75]
listings there as well so they may be
[76]
worth your time just to check out and
[78]
see if there's anything there so we've
[80]
got Craigslist it's a big one
[82]
Zillow it's another huge one and
[84]
Facebook marketplace it's another biggie
[85]
but going beyond that all the ones I
[88]
want to let you know about is this
[89]
website called connected investors
[91]
perhaps you've heard of them perhaps not
[93]
but it's basically like this big online
[95]
community of real estate investors where
[98]
you can connect with other people in
[100]
post listings of the properties are
[101]
trying to sell you might just find a
[103]
handful of opportunities here depending
[105]
on the market and how active people are
[108]
in the areas where you're looking
[109]
assuming you have an account with these
[110]
guys you just have to log in go over
[112]
here to the marketplace and then find
[114]
property if you're looking to actually
[116]
find real estate deals or if you want to
[118]
list your property then obviously go and
[119]
click on list property and you create
[121]
these listings again they're free to do
[123]
this is generally what they're gonna
[125]
look like it's kind of all the normal
[126]
expected stuff where you'll find a
[128]
property description basic details about
[131]
the property not like a ton of
[133]
raishin but all the stuff that you'd
[134]
need just to assess whether or not
[136]
you're actually interested in finding
[138]
out more including the price looks like
[140]
this particular one is an MLS listing
[141]
but I know there's a lot of listings on
[143]
here that it's sort of like off-market
[144]
deals like deals that you're not gonna
[146]
find on your local MLS system like this
[149]
one for example which is for sale by
[151]
owner and this is not an MLS listing
[153]
you're not gonna find this anywhere
[155]
unless you just happen to stumble across
[157]
the listings that this particular owner
[159]
put together so if you've never heard of
[161]
connected investors if you don't have an
[163]
account might be worth signing up just
[164]
to poke around and see if you could find
[166]
anything of interest here another one
[168]
worth knowing about is for Sale By Owner
[170]
calm so this site has kind of gone back
[173]
and forth from what I recall they used
[175]
to offer the ability to post listings
[177]
for free and then you couldn't and then
[179]
you could again so at the time of this
[181]
recording you can post listings on here
[183]
and it doesn't currently cost anything
[185]
can't guarantee it sell is gonna be like
[186]
that but that's the situation as of now
[188]
and all I have to do is go over here to
[191]
sell your home and you can get started
[193]
putting together a listing right here
[195]
just by clicking get started and then
[196]
you just have to create an account and
[198]
move on to the next steps but just to
[200]
give you an idea of what these listings
[202]
look like we'll go in check out a couple
[204]
of them here let's take a look at this
[207]
one right here just as an example so
[210]
they've got plenty of room for photos
[211]
here a nice map feature a nice big area
[214]
for the property description lots of
[217]
different listing facts exterior
[219]
features when it was built neighborhood
[221]
information so really lots of stuff here
[223]
I don't actually know if any of these
[225]
features are held back from people who
[228]
are not paying I'm sure they are the
[229]
important thing is you can get exposure
[231]
through this platform which is not
[233]
insignificant and you can do it for free
[235]
so if you've never checked this out
[237]
check it out and also obviously you can
[240]
find deals on here too I haven't spent a
[242]
lot of time looking on this particular
[243]
site for deals but since it is a listing
[246]
platform there's gonna be lots of
[248]
different listings here that you can
[250]
look through and you never know you
[251]
might find something of interest here
[252]
another one to know about is this
[254]
website called let go and let go is a
[257]
free listing website that seems to
[259]
prioritize ease of you seeing like the
[261]
visual elements of each listing and my
[264]
interactions with the website it seems
[266]
to
[266]
intended more for like a mobile audience
[268]
like people could use it on their phone
[270]
rather than on their desktop computers
[271]
but obviously if you do have a desktop
[273]
computer
[274]
you can certainly get around and see
[275]
what you need to see I haven't
[276]
personally done any deals to this
[278]
website I have listed properties here
[280]
before and I have heard from other
[281]
investors who have gotten pretty fast
[283]
results with it I don't know if that was
[285]
just a luck thing or if it's because let
[287]
go is like a legitimately awesome
[289]
website so I'm not entirely sure but
[290]
depending on which markets you're
[292]
working in it's probably worth your
[294]
while to at least try posting your
[295]
properties here to see if they can get
[297]
any traction and obviously spend some
[299]
time looking around to see if you can
[300]
find some deals you just have to go over
[302]
here to this section housing and then
[305]
they give you just a few filtering
[306]
criteria by which you can sort through
[308]
these listings so it could say you know
[310]
twenty thousand two hundred thousand
[312]
because we're going after cheap deals
[314]
here and then sort by relevance or by
[317]
date or by price start with low to high
[320]
in this case and then post it within the
[322]
last 24 hours less seven days 30 days or
[324]
all the listings so if you haven't
[327]
checked out let go before there's
[328]
definitely a lot of listings here so
[331]
there could be something waiting for you
[332]
might be worth spending just a few
[333]
minutes to get more familiar with this
[335]
one another one on the list here is
[337]
called fizz BER I have actually used
[339]
this website in the past to create
[341]
listings not only the free ones but also
[343]
to pay for this thing called the MLS
[346]
boost which basically means a local
[348]
realtor in your market lists your
[350]
property under their name so that you
[351]
can get access to the MLS which
[353]
essentially puts your property on
[355]
websites like realtor.com websites that
[357]
you wouldn't otherwise be able to get
[359]
listed on simply as a for sale by owner
[361]
because you sort of have to have MLS
[363]
access to get on those so I have used
[366]
your for that in my case it did not
[368]
necessarily end up in you know selling
[370]
my property faster because I ended up
[372]
selling it directly to an end buyer and
[374]
they just found my listing on Craigslist
[376]
anyway but if you do want MLS access and
[379]
if you think that would be helpful in
[380]
your situation Fizbo is an option for
[382]
that they also have a free listing
[384]
option that works pretty well and if
[386]
you're using this website to try to find
[387]
deals you can as it says here find your
[390]
next one by searching our database of
[392]
off market and for sale by owner
[394]
properties so that right there kind of
[396]
gets my attention just because these are
[398]
properties that I'm
[399]
not normally gonna see in the regular
[401]
course of just looking on my local MLS
[404]
website if I come here I'm gonna see
[405]
things that probably won't show up on
[408]
those mainstream avenues or everybody
[410]
else is looking so just to give an idea
[412]
for what these listings look like if you
[414]
decide to use them let's go ahead and
[416]
just click on this one as an example it
[419]
looks like we've got plenty of spots for
[421]
images a nice description lots of ads
[424]
beneath that and a few more details at
[427]
the bottom so not like the sleekest
[429]
looking most comprehensive listings I've
[432]
seen out there I think there's
[433]
definitely better options that look
[435]
prettier and all that but again you
[438]
can't get free exposure on this website
[440]
and you can get out the basic
[442]
information and you never know who's
[443]
looking at here there could be somebody
[445]
of interest who's coming and going so in
[447]
case you've never heard of this one just
[448]
wanna make sure you knew about it
[450]
another one here on the list is a
[451]
website called doodle so this is one of
[454]
those websites that kind of like
[455]
Craigslist doesn't look like anybody has
[458]
updated the design in about 20 years but
[460]
that being said there is still some
[463]
stuff going on here if I check out what
[464]
similar web says it looks like this
[466]
website time of this recording is
[468]
getting about a million and a half
[469]
monthly visitors to it again that's for
[472]
like every single market every single
[474]
page on the site so all in all that's
[478]
not that much probably when you boil it
[480]
down to every individual market but
[482]
still it's a million and a half people
[484]
every month so somebody's coming here
[486]
and checking this stuff out and like all
[487]
the other websites that I'm telling you
[488]
about here you can post listings for
[491]
free and you can also browse listings
[493]
and find other opportunities that might
[495]
be in your market that perhaps aren't
[497]
showing up elsewhere we can go down here
[499]
to real estate click on that just get
[501]
some ideas for the kinds of properties
[504]
that are out there you can also sort and
[506]
filter your options a little bit based
[508]
on bedrooms and bathrooms and prices and
[511]
then also condition square footage
[514]
seller type photos only so it's kind of
[518]
similar to what Craigslist makes
[520]
available it gives you some pretty solid
[522]
ways to narrow down specifically which
[525]
types of properties you are and are not
[527]
looking for if you want to post a
[529]
property for sale you can do it up here
[530]
and one claim
[532]
same with this particular website is
[534]
that when you post listings here they
[537]
supposedly get syndicated over to red
[539]
fin comm which is a major major real
[543]
estate listing website that gets heck of
[545]
a lot more traffic than just doodle comm
[547]
does so just keep that in mind that if
[550]
you are posting stuff here you can
[552]
potentially catch that other huge
[554]
audience that's part of why this website
[556]
I think is notable and just worth
[558]
knowing about because if you do want to
[559]
tap into that much larger audience over
[561]
on red fin you can do that through this
[563]
website and in a way I almost kind of
[565]
find that hard to believe because this
[566]
website does not look that slick or
[569]
fancy and it does seem like the kind of
[571]
place where spammers can go nuts I don't
[574]
know how the backend works I don't know
[575]
how well it's monitored so maybe I'm
[577]
totally wrong but just like based on the
[579]
visual vibe I'm getting from this
[581]
website it doesn't seem like the kind of
[583]
place where you can just plug stuff in
[584]
here and it's gonna automatically show
[586]
up on red fin but that's what they say
[588]
if we go over here to red fin to
[590]
investigate that claim if we go down
[593]
here to question number seven and sure
[595]
enough just based on the answer I've
[597]
seen to this question it does seem to
[599]
imply that indeed some of the
[601]
information that red fin displays comes
[604]
to them from google.com so there you
[607]
have it I didn't make it up folks you
[608]
can see it right there so moving on to
[610]
the next one it's a website here called
[612]
asset column and this is another site
[615]
that just based on what I've seen of it
[617]
it seems kind of underrated like it's
[619]
pretty well designed in like the user
[622]
experience seems pretty great and you
[625]
can post listings for free here and I
[627]
actually discovered this a few years ago
[628]
and I remember even then I was like wow
[630]
this is a pretty great website why have
[632]
I not heard more about this before so
[635]
anyway this is what asset column looks
[637]
like again at the time of this recording
[638]
and if you want to find deals you can go
[641]
over here the navigation bar and click
[643]
on buy and it'll take you over to a page
[645]
that looks like this kinda has a similar
[648]
vibe to like Zillow or red fin or Trulia
[651]
that kind of thing where you can start
[652]
searching for properties here and
[654]
filtering them over here doesn't look
[656]
like they give you quite as many
[657]
filtering options but that's fine
[659]
because remember a lot of these deals
[661]
are deals that are not on the MLS
[663]
they're posted
[664]
directly by the owners of the property
[666]
or people associated with the investment
[668]
company that kind of thing this is just
[670]
an example of what these property
[672]
listings look like pretty sharp this is
[674]
one of the better-looking layouts I've
[676]
seen like on the Internet at large so I
[679]
think whoever's in charge of designing
[681]
this thing did a pretty solid job and
[683]
then if you want to go list one of your
[684]
properties you can go over here to
[686]
selling in the navigation bar and click
[688]
on post your property and it's a pretty
[690]
straightforward easy way to get through
[693]
it
[693]
just go ahead and log in or sign up
[695]
right here and it's generally not a hard
[697]
process to figure out itself go ahead
[700]
and check out asset column I don't know
[702]
if this website syndicates with any
[703]
other ones out there but just in terms
[705]
of the website itself I think it's
[707]
definitely one worth knowing about
[709]
so now moving on to the next one so
[712]
we're certain to fall into the range of
[715]
like almost not even worth mentioning
[716]
sites simply because as you can see from
[719]
this particular one find my roof com
[721]
County has a similar look and feel to
[723]
like doodle where whoever's in charge of
[726]
website design is just asleep at the
[728]
wheel like this thing does not look that
[730]
sharp but again it's free to post stuff
[733]
here if you want you can place an ad
[734]
right there and you can go ahead and
[737]
start looking for deals all over the
[739]
place
[739]
and you can start by looking in the
[741]
state and you see what you can find that
[744]
way just to give an idea for what these
[746]
listings look like so all the basic
[748]
placeholder information is there you can
[750]
put a handful of pictures you can
[752]
enlarge the pictures by clicking on them
[754]
and you can see all the basic details
[757]
and description it's just not that
[759]
beautiful of a website to look at but
[762]
practically speaking if you're just
[763]
looking for another medium by which you
[766]
can find deals out there and post your
[768]
properties for sale
[769]
check out find my roof it's right here
[771]
it's free and it's pretty easy to use so
[774]
there's actually a lot more websites I
[776]
could tell you about but the ones we
[777]
covered right here so far are probably
[779]
the most notable ones where I think
[781]
you're gonna get the biggest bang for
[783]
your buck if you decide to use them at
[785]
all if you're looking for some other
[787]
less notable but still you can post
[789]
listings for free and you can find deals
[791]
there go ahead and check out the blog
[794]
post I've put together that I do try to
[796]
keep updated as often as possible
[798]
usually about once a year I'll go back
[799]
and remove websites that don't exist
[801]
anymore and add new ones that I've
[803]
learned about you can check it out at re
[805]
tips.com I'll have a link to that blog
[807]
post beneath this video and you can go
[809]
see what it has to offer as you can see
[811]
there's tons of websites out there with
[814]
really weird names some of them seem a
[816]
super obscure but I've checked them all
[819]
out and they are all real so you never
[821]
know but feel free to check that out if
[823]
you want to look into this further I
[825]
hope you found these ideas helpful if
[827]
you've never heard of any of these
[828]
hopefully you learned something new here
[830]
and hopefully you've got a few new
[832]
websites you can add to your bookmarks
[834]
list so thanks again for watching talk
[836]
to you next time
