$1 vs $1000 Roller Coasters in GTA 5 - YouTube
Channel: GrayStillPlays
[0]
All right.
[0]
We're checking out the only game
where the more money I pay,
[2]
the more torture I receive.
[4]
It's GTA.
[5]
So, previously I showed a map
that was emailed to me that I played.
[9]
Well, showing that was the worst thing
I think I've ever done in my life.
[12]
So, as I spend the next 40 years,
trying to sort out that mess,
[15]
it's back over to Fiverr,
[16]
so I can pay some people
to make me hate myself some more.
[19]
So, once again,
we found five different creators
[21]
to make five different rollercoaster
themed parkour boards
[25]
for $1, $10, $100, $500, and 1000.
[30]
This time however,
the $1000 board does not play itself,
[33]
which means I get to cry myself to sleep.
[35]
Here we go.
[36]
All right, we're starting
once again with the $1 board.
[38]
Uh, oddly enough,
[39]
this is actually made by the same person
that made the previous [chuckles]
[42]
$1 board, because no one
else will bite at that offer.
[46]
[groans]
[47]
What's that say?
[48]
Oh.
[48]
This is my second board.
[50]
Maybe next time I build a $10 board.
[51]
I'm nine.
[52]
I feel like I'm being lied
to considering he's on Fiverr,
[55]
but it's also [chuckles]
possible some parent
[58]
is just using their child to make these.
[60]
I don't know whether to be more impressed
that I can screw up a $1 board
[63]
or that I can get so much difficult value
out of the lowest amount board.
[68]
There's legitimately no way off of this.
[69]
I can't believe I have to do this.
[71]
Okay.
So, whatever you do, do not turn sideways.
[74]
Perfect.
[74]
Okay, and then onto the tight rope.
[77]
It is just kind of a-kind of a weird angle.
[79]
I-I actually think he's -.
[82]
I actually think he's getting better [laugh]
[84]
at making the $1 boards.
[86]
I feel like I've--
[87]
Oh, he made a new pro--
[91]
Okay.
[92]
So, it was the la-the last one legend--
[94]
Yay, I made a new pro legend board.
[98]
[laughs]
[99]
And--
[101]
Is there--
[102]
Do I have to jump this?
[103]
[groans]
[105]
There's no--
[105]
I can't get any speed.
[107]
Oh, this is--
[108]
Oh.
[108]
Oh, that's a [?] Thank you, Danny.
[113]
And onto the $10 board.
[115]
Okay.
[115]
So, this is the $10 board.
[117]
Now as usual, the entire--
[121]
Why build a rollercoaster
board if one already exists.
[124]
Plus $10 only buy you five
[chuckles] untested obstacles.
[129]
I don't get it.
[130]
I mean, it's a-it's a real board.
[132]
There's actually, like,
a checkpoint over there.
[133]
I like how at this point,
the board creators are just trolling me.
[136]
Ey, [groans]
[140]
[chuckles]
[142]
How about that, $10 board?
[144]
[laughs]
[145]
You didn't expect that, did you?
[147]
Oh, you put a boost up here.
[148]
[chuckles]
[149]
[groans]
[150]
God.
[151]
How will you--
[154]
It's like I have to go
around that backwards.
[156]
I think the funny part is that-
[groans]- after the first video,
[160]
it became so much easier to find people
[162]
to make these $10 boards on Fiverr.
[164]
I think it's because people
literally get paid in my tears.
[167]
They don't even worry
about the money that much.
[169]
Okay, rolling on down.
[172]
I'm not exactly sure what I'm--
[174]
Do I jump over this or go to the right?
[178]
No.
[179]
Like, you have to go over, right?
[182]
Mm.
[182]
I hate myself for doing--
[186]
This is worth a lot more than $10.
[188]
Come on.
[189]
[laughs]
[190]
This board is becoming awkwardly hard.
[192]
When I'm experiencing this much
trauma on the $10 board--
[196]
Oh, oh, oh.
[198]
Oh.
[199]
Oh, my God.
[201]
Okay, hold on.
[201]
Let me just--
[202]
This better work.
[203]
I've got to just touch
the checkpoint so I can stop this.
[207]
And checkpoint.
[211]
Go to the left.
[216]
Uh, actually if I fall down here,
[219]
it's a little easier than falling up there.
[221]
I make fantastic deci--
[225]
Fantastic decisions.
[227]
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
[229]
And that-that is not at all what--
[233]
I-I can do the--
[237]
Uh,
[238]
oh, wait, hold on,
hold on, hold on, hold on.
[240]
[groans]
[241]
Okay, jump.
[243]
Perfect.
[243]
Got it.
[245]
And checkpoint.
[247]
Slowly go around the most painful
roller coaster
[250]
ever made in the history of entertainment.
[252]
What's the death ratio on this thing?
[254]
And we have a boost for the winner.
[257]
[laughs]
[258]
On to the $100 board.
[259]
Okay.
[259]
So, there's a couple things to mention here.
[261]
First,
so the $100 board builder said that the--
[265]
Oh, you liar.
[267]
I was gonna say that the windmills
are just for the looks.
[270]
I knew there was no way.
[272]
What?
[272]
Uh,
[275]
how do the ramps just materialize?
[278]
I love it. They're like, "Now you're dead.
[280]
Now you're not. Now you're dead.
[281]
Now you're not."
[282]
Oh, now you're dead on the left.
[284]
Now you're dead on the right.
[285]
I call this board the improper haircut.
[287]
I mean, I-I think you just named
it $100 board, but--
[293]
Ouch.
[293]
You are inhuman.
[295]
You are an unholy inhuman--
[298]
Uh, oh, I'm still alive.
[300]
It's -. [groans]
[302]
[sobs]
[303]
This is-this is-this is awful.
[306]
This is the $100 board.
[307]
I haven't even--
[308]
And also I had--
[309]
I didn't get-I didn't even
get lucky enough to find out
[313]
that the $1000 board
would be like an awesome--
[315]
[screams]
[317]
Oh, God. [groans]
[319]
No.
[324]
That was almost an epic save.
[325]
Oh, yeah.
[326]
Oh, we're first-personing this.
[328]
Okay.
[328]
It doesn't matter how it gets beaten,
as long as it gets beaten.
[331]
Oh, yeah.
[332]
Look at this.
[332]
This is no problem.
[333]
Yeah. What else you got for me?
[335]
You got any more?
[336]
[screams]
[338]
Well,
that rollercoaster just vomited me out.
[343]
On the plus side, I'm still in the game.
[347]
Are we done?
[348]
Are we done with the pulsating ramps?
[350]
We're not done.
[350]
Okay, now we're done.
[352]
Yes.
[353]
No, we're not done.
[354]
We're not done.
[355]
I can land this.
[357]
Perfect.
[358]
And slide.
[359]
Way to go.
[360]
You know what'd be cool?
[361]
A checkpoint.
[362]
There's got to be one around here, right?
[364]
Like, I've done enough of this--
[365]
What is this?
[366]
Is this, like, a real ramp or is this like--
[367]
Hold on.
[369]
I've learned my lesson enough times.
[370]
No, it looks like a real ramp.
[371]
Looks like I got to do a jump.
[372]
Mayday.
[375]
I hope I can make this.
[376]
Mayday.
[377]
Okay.
[378]
Oh, yeah.
[379]
Oh, we're floating like a--
[380]
I'm falling.
[381]
I'm falling like gravity is betraying me.
[383]
Ow. Okay.
[384]
So, basically what I found out is that I--
[388]
Oh, God. Oh, full flip.
[391]
I cannot lose any speed
or I won't make that jump.
[394]
All I have to do is just
not hit a single ramp.
[396]
It's no big deal.
Just got to not hit a single ramp.
[398]
Yeah. Yeah.
[400]
This is happening.
[402]
Oh, please don't do it.
[404]
Yeah.
[406]
Yeah.
[408]
Full frontflip into the landing,
[411]
and we have a checkpoint
which leads into a finish.
[414]
Onto the $500 board.
[417]
Okay.
So, this is a really interesting board.
[419]
The longer it takes me to do this board,
the harder it becomes.
[423]
I have no idea
how they managed to program this,
[425]
but apparently as time goes on,
more obstacles spawn in the course.
[429]
I appreciate that my proclivities
for wall rides has now seeped into--
[434]
Oh, [laughs].
[437]
Has now seeped into basically
every difficult board that I play.
[441]
You have no idea
how hard it is to talk and try
[445]
and keep the other half
of my brain working the controller.
[450]
I mean, they figured
out about half of the roller coaster.
[453]
Since I got the roller coaster tracks.
[455]
There we go.
[455]
Okay.
[456]
Oh, the roller--
[456]
Okay.
[457]
So, we're starting to get--
[460]
[groans].
[462]
The windmill's spawning.
[463]
Okay. Oh, yeah.
[464]
Oh, this is so smooth.
[466]
[groans]
[466]
Part of me wonders now, like,
[468]
how many windmills can possibly
spawn depending on how long it takes,
[472]
but you realize sometimes
it takes me hours, right?
[474]
How many punches
to the face would you like, Gray?
[477]
Yes.
[478]
I love how this car is called Skinny.
[480]
I get all of my calories
burned through my fingers.
[483]
Yes.
[483]
Oh, I've got it memorized.
[485]
I've got the pulsate--
[486]
[groans]
[489]
There's no way to get back
on there from here, is there?
[491]
Pump the thumb.
[492]
Pump the thumb.
[493]
Pump the thumb.
[494]
Pump the thumb.
[496]
Oh, I'm still up on the board.
[499]
I'm not anymore.
[500]
[whines]
[502]
Gray, what do you use
for lubrication for your vehicle's engine?
[505]
My tears,
because they're an infinite resource.
[509]
Oh, my God.
[510]
Yes, yes, yes.
[514]
I can make this, right?
[515]
No.
[518]
[groans]
[519]
I don't care what it takes.
[521]
I don't care how many times
I have to do this.
[522]
I'm doing--
[523]
Mm.
[523]
Okay.
[524]
Pulse, pulse, pulse with the thumb.
[527]
The thumb is working great.
[528]
As long as the elec--
[531]
Oh, God.
[532]
As long as the electricity
going from my brain
[534]
to my hand doesn't screw up like that.
[535]
He would be like, "Hey, Gray.
What does the pressure taste like?"
[537]
It tastes like my mouth
is filled with blood.
[539]
Oh, wait.
[540]
It is.
[541]
At this point, I can stay on--
[544]
Oh, my God.
[545]
I can stay on the track.
[547]
It's just a matter of, can I get--
[550]
[groans]
[551]
Can I get the timing
of the windmills down right?
[556]
Yes.
[557]
Go, go, go, go, go, go.
[559]
I'm dead. No, I'm not dead.
[560]
Yes, I am. This is brutal.
[562]
This is the new worst
wallride I've ever done.
[565]
Stop trying to outdo each other.
[569]
You get your money no matter what anyway.
[573]
Oh, here we go.
[574]
[groans]
[575]
Now I know how Rocky felt getting punched
[577]
in the face by Apollo Creed
for a million rounds straight.
[580]
At this point, it's like playing DDR.
[583]
My thumb is doing a dance.
[585]
Okay.
[585]
It's like a-it's like a graceful ballerina.
[588]
It's just a ballerina that's been
getting backhanded it's ent
[593]
Oh, my God-it's entire life.
[595]
Please let this end.
[597]
Bank up.
[598]
Okay. That was the perfect bank.
[600]
This has to be a full land.
[602]
Yes.
[605]
Oh, my God.
[606]
And onto the $1000 board.
[610]
Let me explain
to you all real quick why this board
[612]
is eviler than any other board
that's ever been made.
[615]
This board is called Speed Run.
[617]
The creator of it said that the reason
[618]
for this is because in the last $1000 board,
[621]
which did it for me in one shot,
[623]
to make me look cool he wanted
to do the exact opposite.
[626]
So, how this works is you have to complete
the entire board as a speed run,
[632]
which means you cannot
mess up any part or the rest
[635]
or the board will not function.
[638]
So, jump on--
[639]
So, instead of building a board specifically
[642]
to make me look like I'm doing
everything perfectly,
[644]
he's made a board
where I have to do everything perfectly
[647]
or I can't beat the board.
[648]
Got it. Okay.
[649]
So, onto a wall ride.
[651]
The first part is just timing jump, roll.
[656]
So, since I messed up the roll,
yeah, the platform moves away.
[660]
Okay, this part's pretty easy.
[661]
It's all about timing.
[662]
As long as you get onto the pink platform
right as it transfers--
[667]
I can't do it now.
[668]
As long as you get onto the pink platform
right in the beginning,
[670]
right when it starts,
[671]
you're gonna have enough
time to get all the way to the end.
[673]
See.
[674]
Look at how perfect the timing
has to be here.
[676]
You can't let up on the gas
at all or you'll screw it up.
[679]
And, land.
[680]
Get it. Okay.
[681]
Onto a wall ride.
[682]
Wall ride, jump into a roll.
[685]
Perfect.
[686]
Lose no speed.
[687]
Got it.
[688]
Okay, I see how the timing works.
[689]
Perfect.
[690]
Nice.
[691]
Oh, yeah.
[691]
Oh, this is a new personal best.
[693]
Whoa.
[694]
I don't know how to beat that.
[695]
Into the roll.
[696]
Now, luckily,
this is kind of what I'm good at,
[698]
because I'll just do it over and over again
[700]
until I eventually learn the pattern.
[702]
The only problem was
[703]
I had a little bit of a backslide there.
[705]
Okay, good.
[705]
It wasn't enough for me to lose it.
[706]
So, this looks like a--
[707]
What is this?
[710]
Oh, it's oh, it's just enough of a hop.
[712]
Hop.
[713]
Got it. Okay.
[714]
Hop.
[715]
Evil has a new name.
[719]
It is the $1000 board,
[723]
which was made by a man named Alex.
[728]
Okay.
[730]
Onto the--
[732]
I lost speed.
[733]
Roll.
[734]
Perfect landing.
[736]
I don't think I can get this,
but I'm going to keep going.
[739]
If I can land the tightrope--
[742]
Landed a tightrope, into a bounce.
[745]
Get it.
[746]
Bounce, got it.
[749]
Bounce.
[750]
Perfect. I--
[752]
[groans]
[753]
[laughs]
[754]
Oh, yeah.
[756]
I was gonna say I knew there was--
[758]
Whoa, whoa, whoa, yes.
[761]
[laughs]
[763]
Oh.
[764]
I had seen the plywood and I knew
that was going to be where to
[767]
where I would shoot my rocket.
[768]
The second time I just kind of got lucky,
[770]
because I've an itchy trigger finger.
[772]
There is no I and quit that.
[773]
That--
[776]
Okay, I-I messed
that up and I'm still not giving up.
[779]
No, maybe I should have.
[780]
Timing's looking good so far.
[782]
Okay.
[784]
Yes.
[785]
You have to pump the nose just
the slightest bit right before you land,
[792]
and it keeps the back end
from hitting too hard,
[795]
but if the nose is too high
you lose a little bit of speed.
[799]
Good roll.
[802]
This is a strong showing so far.
[803]
I'm a l--
[805]
Oh, God, don't go off to the left.
[806]
Don't go off to the left.
[807]
Right down center.
[810]
This is going to be new personal best.
[812]
Wait, secondary jump.
[814]
God, there's no margin of error.
[816]
Third jump, jump, shoot.
[818]
Yes.
[821]
Oh, I know it's coming,
I know it's coming, I know it's coming,
[823]
I know it's coming.
[823]
Shoot.
[824]
Got it.
[825]
Through.
[826]
Oh, my God, this is--
[827]
I've never gotten this far before.
[828]
Whoa, Ah.
[831]
Ah.
[832]
Jump.
[834]
[laughs]
[836]
Oh, my God, that's a wall ride.
[838]
[screams]
[840]
Into a roll.
[843]
I ju-jump with a boost into a land.
[846]
I have no idea
where I'm going at this point.
[849]
Okay, boost.
[851]
Air.
[854]
Jump, boost, land.
[857]
Come on, baby.
[858]
This has got to be--
[859]
Jump, boost, land.
[861]
Alternating-alternating shootie boards.
[863]
I-- [laughs]
[866]
The timing-the timing.
[868]
How do you--
[870]
Oh, I have to roll it.
[874]
[laughs]
[877]
I didn't trust you.
[878]
I figured there would be a board there.
[879]
Into a-- [laughs] Oh, yes.
[882]
Oh, my god.
[884]
Oh, [laughs]
[886]
thank you.
[887]
I'm gonna go ahead
[888]
and get slapped across the face
by the weight of my poor decisions.
[890]
Anyway, folks,
hope you enjoyed this episode of GTA.
[892]
Until next time.
[893]
Stay foxy and much love.
