in this video I'm going to show you how

to buy sell and send Bitcoin using your

cash app investing app if you have any

you're going to want to do is go ahead

and open up your cash app app and it's

going to take me to the main screen
[18]
right there where I can pay and request
[20]
money but we're actually going to click

on the icons down there at the bottom
[24]
right where it's a Bitcoin sign and the
[26]
Stock Investing sign
[29]
and initially it's going to take me into
[31]
the investing side of things so where
[33]
all my stocks are but we want to do the
[35]
Bitcoin so we're going to hit Bitcoin
[38]
and this tells you what my current
[39]
balance is so I have 15.19 worth of
[42]
bitcoin at this point in time now if you
[44]
want to see how much you've made or lost
[46]
in Bitcoin if you've already been
[47]
investing you can actually scroll down
[49]
and under activity right there you press
[52]
on view all
[54]
and right here it's going to tell you
[55]
how much you've purchased how much
[56]
you've sold and what your earnings are
[59]
so at this point I'm break even I
[61]
haven't made any money I haven't lost
[62]
any money even though I've been buying
[63]
just one dollar worth of bitcoin every
[65]
single day so let's go ahead and X out
[67]
of this so we can start the process of
[69]
showing how to buy sell and send
[71]
so right here we have buy so we're going
[74]
to go ahead and press that
[75]
now you need to make sure that you have
[77]
money in your cash app account to be
[79]
able to do this of course in the very
[80]
top you see standard one-time order this

is where you can choose the frequency of
[84]
how often you want to buy right now

we're just going to do a one-time buy
[88]
which is going to go through right now
[89]
but if you want to do a different
[91]
frequency we'll press on that and this

is going to tell you if you want to do
[95]
daily weekly or every two weeks now
[97]
there is a 10 minimum for these
[100]
recurring purchases so you have to make
[102]
sure that you have at least ten dollars

in your account to do this but in this
[105]
case we're just going to do a one-time

purchase

okay so we're going to go back to the to

the main screen and we're going to hit

Buy

and we're just going to do one dollar

now one thing to know is that you can
[117]
buy and sell Bitcoin 24 hours a day
[120]
seven days a week the market never
[122]
technically closes so once you place
[124]
this order you can't go cancel it like
[127]
you could with with investing in the
[129]
stock market through cash app with cash
[131]
app if you're investing through the
[132]
stock market the stock market is open
[134]
Monday through Friday from 9 30 a.m to 4
[138]
30 p.m Eastern Standard time so if you
[140]
place a stock trade outside of those
[143]
that window
[144]
then technically you'll have time to go
[146]
in there and cancel that stock that
[149]
stock trade that you placed but since
[151]
Bitcoin is open 24 hours and you can
[154]
place trades 24 hours when you place
[156]
this trade there is no going back so
[158]
just keep that in mind I'm not saying do
[159]
do do it I'm not saying don't do it but
[162]
just always remember that you can't
[164]
cancel it but you couldn't you can't
[165]
technically sell which I'll show you how
[167]
to sell here in a minute in this case

we're just gonna buy one dollar worth

and before I show you that you can see
[172]
what the current price of Bitcoin is

right there 31 000 857 at this point in

time

so we're going to go ahead and hit Buy

now right here you have to confirm okay

do you actually want to buy this amount

so in this case it's going to give you

the breakdown right the amount is three
[201]
is that three thousand three thousand

forty five SATs which stands for

satoshi's in one Bitcoin there are 100
[210]
for some math and they give you some
[212]
background what a Satoshi is there's
[214]
actually 100 million satoshi's within
[217]
one Bitcoin so think of like a Satoshi
[219]
almost like a penny right there's a

hundred pennies in one dollar well it's
[225]
the same idea with satoshi's there's
[227]
except there's a lot more there's a
[229]
hundred million satoshi's it which equal

one Bitcoin so you're not going to be

getting a full Bitcoin of course because

the current price is 31 000 855 and

you're only putting the dollar worth in

but that gives you an idea of how much

you're actually how which we're actually

buying now total Bitcoin purchase 97

cents because there are fees involved

when you purchase Bitcoin you can

satoshi's so we're gonna hit done and as

16.17 worth of bitcoin

so down here at the activity you can see

that today we purchased 3045 so that

just confirms to you how much you've

purchased now I hold most of my Bitcoin

not on cash app I own thousands of

dollars in Bitcoin

um there's reasons that I don't buy a

bunch of Bitcoin or my larger purchases
[301]
of Bitcoin through the cash app
[303]
investing app or cash app app but I'm
[306]
not going to go through those details

right now maybe in at some at a in a

video at some point in the future I can

go through it but it's a little bit more
[313]
of a process and I do pay fees when I go
[316]
purchase that Bitcoin in other in other
[318]
places so the three cent fee that you're

that we pay that I just paid on here

it's not a big deal you're going to pay

a fee no matter where you purchase

Bitcoin so now if we want to sell

Bitcoin it's pretty easy I believe I

haven't actually technically done it but

it should be pretty easy so we'll hit

the sell button right there and we can

choose how much we want to sell so for

some reason it gives me increments of 2

4 8 and 12. let's see can I just do one

dollar

I don't know why it automatically gives

me the option of to whoops of selling 2

4 8 and 12. um okay so we're we're gonna

do a dollar so we're gonna hit the three
[352]
dots at the bottom right and we're gonna
[354]
choose one dollar next cash pin okay and

this tells us the amount right so

there's 3137 satoshi's is what one
[363]
dollar equals right now and there are
[365]
fees when you sell as well looks like
[367]
there's a three cent fee so technically
[369]
total proceeds is going to be 97 cents

so we're going to confirm

and you sold

3137 satoshi's we'll hit done now let's

see how it actually got deposited into

my cash app account so there at the

bottom right you see sixty seven dollars

so let's check out my account balance it

should be 67 and maybe 97 cents let's

find out yep 67.97 because I initially

started out with sixty seven dollars

before selling that so that's how the

money is going to get deposited is back

into your cash app account so that way

you can go ahead and withdraw the money

send it to your bank account you can use

your cash app card to swipe it and and

use that 97 cents to purchase something

so let's go ahead through the process of

how to send Bitcoin through cash app so

we're gonna go back to here to this

screen and right there you see an arrow

it's like a looks like a mail symbol to

send to something so we're gonna hit

send

and oh I have to enable sending and

receiving because I haven't done this

yet so we'll go ahead and hit enable

sending and receiving before sending

Bitcoin you'll need to verify your

identity with a valid ID okay

I think I've already done that we need a

little more information to enable
[438]
withdrawals and deposits okay

verify your identity with a driver's
[444]
license or state ID to continue

okay in this case I don't have my ID

with me so let me go grab it real quick

and then we'll just continue with this

have to select the main reason you use

Bitcoin in this case I use Bitcoin for

investing long-term investing we're

going to hit next

select your main source of income right

now I have occupation of a couple jobs

buying and selling Bitcoin but so right
