Infrastructure Bill Passes With no New Taxes || The NASDAQ is up Over 10% Affects The Inflation - YouTube
Channel: unknown
[0]
markets are having a great fourth
[1]
quarter infrastructure bill gets passed
[4]
and it looks like this could be an epic
[6]
christmas spending season let's talk
[8]
about it
[10]
hello everybody joe orbit coming at you
[12]
and as i've said 2021 is gonna be a
[15]
great year for the markets we're heading
[17]
in now we're in the middle of the last
[19]
quarter and as you can tell we are
[21]
seeing great returns in this quarter it
[23]
looks like we're making up the losses
[25]
the small losses and the flatness we saw
[27]
the third quarter and we can see that
[29]
the s p the dow and the nasdaq are all
[31]
up for this quarter the nasdaq is up
[33]
over 10 percent since october 1st that
[35]
is great news and i believe this could
[38]
continue throughout the end of the year
[39]
so watch out for this the only area that
[42]
could really affect it would be
[45]
inflation you know fed chairman powell
[47]
has come out and said that he still sees
[49]
a transitory it could be temporary but
[52]
it's definitely going to continue on the
[54]
next year goods and services and food as
[56]
i've said are going to continue to get
[57]
more and more expensive but it does not
[60]
look like it's slowing down people's
[62]
christmas spending they are talking
[64]
about
[64]
record year for spending people have
[67]
cash
[68]
now the savings rate in america has come
[70]
down i was talking about this on my
[71]
channel for months how we saw savings
[74]
rates in the double digits and just
[76]
recently it came down to about 7.65
[79]
and this is actually really good news
[81]
this is not a negative this means that
[84]
people are back out spending again which
[87]
is one of the reasons why we're seeing
[88]
the stock market do as well in the
[90]
fourth quarter and it's going to
[92]
continue throughout the christmas season
[94]
so this could be a very good santa rally
[97]
heading into december
[99]
let's talk about the infrastructure bill
[101]
this has been around for months and
[104]
months i've done many videos on this it
[106]
finally got passed through both houses
[108]
of congress turns out it was whittled
[110]
down from many many trillions down to
[112]
about 1.25 trillion and it truly is just
[116]
an infrastructure bill today uh what
[120]
we're looking at is about 110 billion of
[123]
this 1.25 trillion to build new roads
[127]
and new bridges and they're going to
[129]
take about 40 billion of this money to
[131]
spend to repair our bridges i mean our
[134]
bridges and our roads in this country
[136]
need a lot of work so i'm excited about
[138]
this i'm excited they're going to be
[139]
building some new bridges so the
[140]
positive thing is some new roads some
[143]
new bridges and some repairs the
[145]
negative thing is that means that you
[146]
and i are gonna be stuck in a lot of
[148]
traffic they're looking at putting about
[149]
a hundred billion dollars into transit
[151]
and trains about 65 billion dollars is
[154]
going to go towards increasing broadband
[155]
internet access to families all across
[157]
america and this is a must we saw this
[161]
during the pandemic when people were
[162]
sent home a lot of kids didn't have
[165]
access to internet it should be a free
[167]
item it should be something that every
[169]
american has complete and total access
[170]
to because it's nearly impossible to
[173]
conduct any business everything goes off
[176]
the internet now so we should definitely
[177]
allow
[178]
every american to have access to
[180]
high-speed broadband internet so i'm
[182]
glad to see this as part of the pack
[183]
they're gonna put about 17 billion
[184]
dollars towards improving our airports
[186]
about nine and a half billion dollars to
[188]
build more chargers for the
[190]
onslaught of electric vehicles that
[191]
we're seeing they're gonna put about 65
[193]
billion dollars towards updating our
[195]
electrical grid and this is really
[196]
important if you haven't watched john
[198]
oliver's last week tonight his most
[200]
recent show does a great dive into our
[202]
electric grid and why it's so important
[204]
that we get this updated so at least
[206]
we're going to see 65 billion dollars go
[208]
into the grid to continue to allow us to
[211]
you know actually keep the lights on
[213]
we've seen more blackouts we've seen
[215]
double the amount of blackouts this year
[217]
than we did last year so it's important
[218]
that we keep this updated they're going
[220]
to put about 55 billion dollars into
[223]
improving our water supply and about 20
[225]
plus billion dollars to superfund sites
[227]
superfund sites or those areas that have
[229]
been so polluted that the government has
[231]
called it a super fund which i guess is
[233]
just a better way than saying just a
[234]
massive pile of crap because it's been
[236]
so polluted that's gonna help to clean
[238]
up some of these areas so the bill was
[240]
passed it looks like it's going to do a
[242]
lot of good actually for this country
[244]
infrastructure to me is a huge deal i
[247]
want to make sure that we have great
[248]
roads that we have great electric that
[250]
we have great access to broadband i'm
[252]
happy that we got something out of this
[253]
and it's going to go through so this is
[255]
going to benefit us i i can't say
[257]
anything negative about it i'm glad that
[259]
it wasn't three or four trillion dollars
[260]
because i feel like we're spending
[261]
enough money
[262]
at least we got something through and we
[264]
will see some positives come from this
[266]
bill as the year winds down make sure
[268]
you're checking back every week for
[269]
updates as i said i think 21 could be a
[272]
great year we'll have to see what
[273]
happens over the next month and a half
