PF Department in regards to KYC has come up with extremely stringent policies.

A lot of notices have been sent to thousands of institutions of this nation.

PF Department has requested that every Employees' KYC should be done.

You need to upload 3 things in your KYC of every Employee's

i.e Their Aadhar Card, Bank Details and their Mobile Number.

Aadhar and Bank Details can be uploaded by the Employer on behalf of the Employee

and their Mobile Number, they can activate their UAN and add it

If you don't know how to activate your UAN or your Employees don't know how to,

then watch this video and learn how to activate their UAN.

So Friends, whether the Employer or the Employee whoever updates it.

It is not considered as approved, it still reflects in the pending list.

For this, it is very important that Employers should approve their Employees

KYC through digital signature

Through Digital signature, all those KYC's either submitted by Employee's or

If it is submitted by the Employer himself, it is very important to approve it.

Even If Employees request to modify their basic details or If they claim

or request for a transfer

All those need to be approved by Digital Signature.

In this video, I'm going to answer to 3 important questions.

1. Through Digital Signature, Which sections are you supposed to take approvals?

2. If your Digital Signature isn't registered, then how do you register Digital Signature,

and approve it from the PF Department?

If either due to a technical difficulty, your digital signature isn't working

or due to a Java error, your digital signature isn't working on your PC

Then how do you solve the technical difficulty?

Friends, We have logged in on the PF site, here you have to approve

digital signatures at 4 places.

Firstly, you need to select "Members", and then "Approvals" and you need to

check whether there is any pendency which needs to be approved by Digital.

You can check here that there are multiple KYCs which have been submitted

and you need to approve their Digital Signature.

You need to click on "DS KYC"

If you do not have an issue, with your Digital Signature.

Java etc, everything has been updated

then after the loading screen, this screen will appear.

You need to click on your digital signature, and select that

If there is more than one digital signature attached,

then you need to check which one to select.

Whichever is your company, you need to select Digital signature according to that.

Click on Sign PDF. Add your Digital Signature PIN and click on Login.

It will reflect as the File Signed Successfully and your 1 Digital will be approved.

You can there were 3 pendencies, now there are 2

and there has been 1 reduction from your KYC.

Exactly the same way, you need to check at 2 more places

You need to check the second last option, "Approve KYC Pending for DS"

Few KYCs are pending here as well.

You can check there are certain KYCs pending here as well.

These KYCs are those which you retrieve while generating the Employee's UAN

while filling in the details

It is an extremely stupid thing by the PF Department, that they have

mentioned KYCs in different places and not in one single place.

And it has to be approved individually.

What can we do here? As of now, there is nothing to worry

3rd is that you need to check "Modify Basic Details"

All those employees who apply for correction request, everything appears on this section.

If nothing is pending here, then there is no issue.

If there is something pending, then you need to approve it.

4th one is you need to check "Online Services" and click on "Transfer Claims"

You need to check whether there are any Transfer Claims listed here

then you need to approve through Digital.

If there are no claims pending, then it will reflect as "No claim pending"

And 3rd is you need to select "Online Services" and click on "Transfer Claims".

If there is any pendency here, you need to approve it through Digital Signature.

Then let's quickly revise, firstly you need to select "Members" and

then proceed to "Approvals", after that "Approve KYC Pending for DS" and

"Bulk Process Modify Basic Details Request" you need to check these 3 sections.

and lastly, check "Transfer Claims" under "Online Services"

In all these 4 places, if there is a pendency,

you should at least check once a month and approve it.

By this, there will be no KYC pending.

Let's talk about another case, Case 2.

If your digital signature isn't registered, then what are you supposed to do?

Before approving any KYC, you need to approve your Digital Signature from the PF Department.

Not only are you supposed to approve the Digital Signature of the owner,

You can even approve the Digital Signature of your Accountant, Manager or Official Person.

So that the Owner doesn't have to use his/her digital signature every time to approve KYC.

For this, what do you have to do?

You need to select "Establishment" and then select "DSC/ E-Sign" Section

And then you will find a 4 Step Registration Process.

Here, you will have to add your "Authorized Signatory's" Name,

"Designation", "Mobile Number", add all these 3 things.

and 2nd select "USB Token" option' and then click on Submit

And then again it will ask you for a Password of your Digital Signature.

After that, your Digital Signature will be registered.

After that, this process is not completed yet.

You need to check "View Registered DSC" You will find all the Registered Digital Signature

You will find all those here. You will find the recently registered DSC

There you will find a request letter. You need to request this.

A letter will appear. You will have to download this letter

I will show you the type of letter. The letter looks something like this.

Herein, there will be 3 places where the person whose DSC registration is done.

Their 3 signatures and towards the bottom

The company's Official Owner who is registered on PF

their sign and seal should be applied and sent to the PF Department.

You need to send 3 copies to the PF Department, you will keep 2 with them.

and will add a "Received" seal on the 3rd one and send it back to you.

After this entire process is done, in a few days, your digital signature will be approved.

As you can see in this Company, the Digital signature is active.

Until and unless it is not active. Until then "Field Office approval pending"

A status like this will keep appearing. As you send the letter, it will be approved.

Once 2 years of Digital is completed or the digital expires, then

all of this becomes auto-rejected.

And you will have to again register for a new Digital Signature.

That means you have to do this process once after every 2 years.

Let's talk about the 3rd one, most of the time after approving the

Digital signature, Java Error appears or maybe such errors appear where

we are unable to proceed with Digital Sign.

What all has to be done? You will have to follow all these steps.

Firstly, you need to pay attention that you need to use Mozilla Firefox.

Generally, in all the other browsers, Digital Signature's don't work.

You need to preferably use Mozilla Firefox Version 41 and 32 BIT.

The latest versions don't support Java. 51 or lower versions are successful in this.

We use Version 41. You can check via File Hippo and download Version 41

We will try and mention the link in the description below.

2nd you need to check that The DSC Driver, whether it is installed or not?

How do you check that? Let's see.

After inserting your Digital Signature in the Computer.

When you are able to find an icon of your Digital Signature. Click on that.

You will find the "exe" file here. Install this "exe" file application.

This is your Digital Signature Driver/ Token.

After you install this, your Digital Signature will start working.

You can even check this, through whichever Driver that you have installed.

For eg: My Driver is "E-pass". I will click on that and a screen will appear like this

You need to check whether your Digital signature is active or not

Whether it is accurate or not. You will add your Password here and log in

Hence, it will reflect all the information related to your Digital Signature here.

Once you click on your Digital, it will also reflect the date until Digital is active

and when it will expire.

Whenever it expires you need to create a Digital Signature a few days before that.

1st thing is you need to have FireFox Version 41 and 32 BIT.

2nd is that your need to install Digital Token/ Driver.

3rd thing is that you need to check Control Panel and modify certain settings in Java.

Firstly, search for Control Panel, Under Control Panel, Programs or maybe

If you are using another version of Windows 10 or a lower version than that.

Then you will find a Java outside itself. Click on the Java Icon.

In Java's Window, you need to click on "Security" and then proceed to "Edit Site List"

In the "Edit Site List", you need to add PF's site.

Copy the link of the "PF Site". Either copy this or the smaller one.

It won't matter much.

Copy the link to the PF Site and add it here.

After completing this whole process, you need to restart your computer.

Your Digital Signature will start working in your PF Site.

31/12/2018 is the last date where the PF Department will accept the Offline Form.

After that, they won't accept the Offline Form, this has been stated by the PF Department.

Then quickly approve the KYC of all your employees with the help
