what's going on my beautiful people from youtube  guys you know how we do it here we're gonna  

talk about three things first let's do a little  unboxing and how to connect your deeper connect  

mini device secondly let's open up that dashboard  and see what it looks like what are the options  

what can you click around and do third giveaways  you know how we love doing a little giveaway and  

for the ones asking hey when is that deeper  connecting you know nano giveaway not yet this  

this unit that i'm opening up is not my indiegogo  order i'm still waiting for that they have  

you know been shipped out um but i haven't gotten  it yet so i actually you remember how i told you  

about the helium miners uh from fast miners at  io well turns out those guys were also selling  

the deeper connect mini units and i couldn't help  myself but to order one because i want to review  

it as soon as possible and kind of get you guys  you know in the know how to get this thing up  

and going before everybody else so i don't have a  deeper connect nano to give out quite yet but that  

will be coming as soon as i get in from indiegogo  i'll be sure to do you know something special for  

that but let's let's do a little hand modeling and  kind of show you guys around um a little side note  

he i did reach out to the the fast manners that  i owe people and i told him i don't even need  

a coupon code here's what i want from you just  create action as a coupon code so i can track to  

see how many people you know are coming from the  channel and going to you guys still trying to get  

discounts and things for you guys but for now if  you just put in action as your coupon code you're  

definitely gonna you know i guess get tracked  and show them that hey this channel is actually  

providing some value and you know people are  going over there i'm not getting anything if you

that code so that there is some kind of track  record like i talked about but let's stop talking  

let's get right into the hand modeling because i  know that's what you all came to see so here we go  

all right so here's a deeper connect mini that  just came in the mail for me let's open up the  

box and see what we got all right beautiful this  is our unit let's pull this plastic wrap off

there we go all right it's a nice beveled edge if  you can see that it's a really good looking unit  

i love the look on this thing can't wait to see  the gold one all right so we have usbc for power  

uh a little usb for plug for our antenna healing  that's coming and we got a memory card here  

this memory card is not just any memory card it's  actually an industrial scan disk card so good job  

actually using quality materials that's actually a  good good sign we got a ethernet rj45 on one side  

and on the other as well all right what else we  got in the box let's see oh manual oh it's a long  

one it's a lot of stuff here let's see well  what do we do with it yeah we don't need it  

okay in the box we have what  we got our little power adapter  

and we have a cat which one is  this let me see what version  

oh look at that it's actually a cat 7 cable nice  job deeper guys you you all are actually giving  

good stuff out usb-c power charger and this is  going to be your regular five volt and it is two  

amps if you can read that perfect so  this is what you get inside your unit box

now how to hook it up so this is the normal setup  and i pulled them out of the wall just so you can  

see what it looks like we've got the modem here  on the left side that's where the internet would  

come in with the coax cable then we have this  ethernet cable that goes into the router itself  

my router does have wi-fi capabilities as well as  you can see but having these two separate units  

is key sometimes many of you might only have  one and i really highly recommend you guys get  

separate units for these if you're getting fiber  or anything else it would come in a little bit  

different but the process will be the same let me  pull this cable out of here so we can start from  

scratch and i can show you exactly how to hook up  your deeper connect device first the back of your  

unit mine actually has two lan ports but i'm going  to plug it into lan 1. so my internet is going to  

come into the modem then i'm going to plug in the  cat5 cable that i got with my deeper connect mini  

right into lan 1 and i will next plug  that cable into my deeper connect mini  

device this is going to provide internet access  to my unit if you think about it this way i want  

everything in my internet everything in my house  to be filtered i'm going to grab that blue cable  

that i had which many of you it's normally what  they give you when you're plugging stuff in  

from the modem to a router it's usually a  blue cable and on the back of my router i  

do have a yellow port which says internet this  is where i'm going to plug in the deeper connect  

mini device now this is your basic setup i  don't know what illustration you might see  

on the internet but this is how you want to set  it up that way every piece of the you know of  

whatever you're connecting to the internet will  be connected through the deeper connect unit  

which will protect you and make sure that you're  blocking things that you don't want to go anywhere  

and you can just use your router to plug  in any other computer or any other device  

that you might want to and setting it up this  way will also ensure that you have everything  

protected essentially on your wi-fi as well well  that's what you get in the box and that's how you  

kind of plug it in now let's talk about  what do you do once it's all plugged in  

here is the website what you're going  to do is just type in 34.34.34.34  

if this is where it's going to bring you to  and you want to use the username admin and the  

password is also admin please change this later  on you don't want to have a wonderful unit that's  

going to protect you from you know all kinds  of things and then have your password and login  

be just admin admin like that's just not good  all right let's hit the login and show you around  

here we go so as soon as you log in you can see  that there's stuff going on you're going to see  

uh notifications scrolling on the right side  things that are happening um it's going to keep  

going you're going to see this routing so it's  bouncing in different locations it's routing me  

to different places and you can see my upload and  download here and i'm going to go through some of  

these tabs so you see what it's actually doing  in the back end so go to system gives you all  

the details in regards to my system specifically  definitely gonna have to blur some of this stuff  

out traffic same idea so and this traffic  down here will continuously update as well  

but you can see that you know the upload the  download speed um it's actually really good  

and i will do a little you know speed test  before i move forward because i think that's  

important a lot of people have been asking about  speed tests take a look at this this um go back  

all right so this is the log a lot of people  have asked like so what happens like what's  

going on if somebody uses my internet connection  to do something i don't want them to your log is  

where you want to go it's going to have all the  detailed information as far as what's going on  

and you're going to be able to kind of go back  and say hey somebody connected through my unit  

and this is what it is can export the info and  feel secure that you're not going to be held  

liable for things that other people did all right  now going back to dpn mode i am using vpn smart  

smart route what this means that is we're going  to take a look at tunneling here so i'm you know  

tunneling through one two three different regions  and you can see it's you know different active ip  

addresses and i can switch this ip and basically  say hey pick somebody else now go to another unit  

and it's gonna right you know right there set  up that routing to go through a different setup  

domain configuration on the left side for routing  this is really cool this is actually one of my  

favorite features i haven't set it up yet but i  can basically say if i want to you know a website  

on the in the uk something that ends you know with  their um domain extension i can basically write  

that down and say hey if you connect to even  if it's netflix i can say netflix.com i want  

to watch netflix from somewhere else all i got to  do here is actually change that country and i can  

use the internet as if i was in the other country  same thing with the ip configuration it's the same  

idea but it uses an iep instead of a domain  itself now let's talk about security because  

security is actually super super cool security  web filtering user uh default config all right  

um again this has been up for maybe an hour like  that since i plugged it in it's already blocked 13  

of traffic and i don't know like 13 of my  internet usage going to ads and trackers i i  

feel pretty good about this like i feel pretty  pretty confident that it's already paying for  

itself just because of the blocked ads and  trackers that it's been picking up already  

thankfully no malicious you know um trojan  horses they have a little trojan that's like  

a rocking horse i love that they use that  that's hilarious and no pornography so but  

that's enabled as well i did wonder what this was  because i always saw this picture that drop down  

actually has disabled disabled for a specific  amount of time that's why these ones have a  

toggle and this one has a drop down i was always  curious about what that little drop down was

same thing i can white whitelist and blacklist  if i go under user configuration let's say i  

want a specific domain to be available i can put  it in here um in case it is let's say not you know  

filtering something that i do want to access and  it's you know let's say they might just be mis  

uh identifying what it actually is dpr mining  so this is where um look at that so dpr balance  

is gonna stay zero like this is a deeper connect  uh mini which means that i'm gonna have to earn  

a hundred credit score before i can actually  start earning dpr and for that to take place i  

need to keep my unit connected between four to six  months to be able to get to the 100 credit score  

and then it's gonna start mining um but this is  where you take care of your wallet binding wallets  

and even generating new ones sharing configuration  this is important now sharing i do have my sharing  

enabled and it is unlimited um i had to set  an unlimited internet from my house like i  

had to pay you know pony up and paid extra money  just because i've been uploading 4k videos and  

that's a lot and i was going over my limit and  having to pay overages so i said you know what  

i'm done i'm just going to pay for the whole thing  so internet sharing is fully enabled on my unit  

which is a great thing for anybody that's  trying to access let's say netflix via the  

you know the us you guys can connect you know  via my my little note here um now bt sharing so  

bits orienting i do have this disabled because i  don't want to get any funny letters in the mail  

saying hey why downloading this so i do have this  disabled because of my internet connection they  

are pretty strict where i'm at when it comes to  bits orienting so i did turn that off last thing  

in here is going to be your password reset please  reset your passwords i don't know if i can say  

this enough please research your passwords it's so  so important to make sure that you are secure with  

the things that you are doing last but not least  you have a little uh button here at the bottom  

which allows you to reboot the device with it you  know let's say it's in the attic it's somewhere  

that's not easily accessible you can hit that  button and get things going right from there now  

what else can i share with you no that's it  let's see over here i don't wanna i don't wanna  

make this video any longer than it has to be i'll  make more videos with detailed information about  

specific areas of this dashboard but i just  want to give you the quick rundowns so you  

can see exactly what the unboxing looks like  how you plug things in and how you get going  

with your deeper connect unit guys you all  are awesome and i will see you all actually
