then held until last year then right now you could  be a millionaire here's the big question with xrp  

currently trading at about 30 cents per coin how  much XRP would you realistically need to invest in  

today to become a millionaire tomorrow and even  more than mathematically what would it take in  

today's video I want to discuss realistically what  would it take in terms of use case in terms of  

implementation in terms of partnerships what would  it take what would it take for XRP to reach that  

mass adoption and how much XRP would you have to  invest in today for you to make a million dollars

created way back in 2012 for the banks and for  the financial institutions so while Bitcoin was  

created to free the average person you me from  the banks from those centralized middlemen x RP  

was created to work with the banks to work with  the regulators so while bitcoin is an open public  

blockchain x RP is a private semi centralized  permission-based blockchain very different the  

purpose of xrp is to be that cryptocurrency that  handles worldwide cross-border transactions right  

now the current archaic systems like Swift they  do have huge market saturation the current systems  

are slower and more expensive than any crypto  alternative so in my opinion it's a no-brainer  

how much money and how much time companies will  save transferring money using cryptocurrency the  

question is will XRP be that cryptocurrency XRP  consistently handles over 1,500 transactions per  

second so it's way faster and in terms of fees  with current companies it might take anywhere  

from hundreds to thousands of dollars in fees to  transfer money with XRP it costs less than a cent  

so XRP is aiming to be that solution that's a big  positive for XRP and it definitely adds a value  

when we're trying to determine where XRP will be  in the next five to ten to fifteen years like I  

mentioned before 100 percent of the XRP coins  were pre mind meaning ripple was in control of  

where those coins went while with most digital  currencies the tokens are mined ripple avoided  

this structure and pre mined all of the XRP which  are about a hundred billion in total and out of  

that 100 billion ripple controls about 60% of  the total supply with an aggregated supply of a  

hundred billion coins the ripple organization  has put fifty five billion XRP in escrow so  

55 billion is locked away this 55 billion of the  total supply these are held in a place by a smart  

contract which releases 1 billion XRP per month  over 55 months allowing ripple to use those coins  

in whatever manner they see fit to further the  adoption of XRP any unused amount will be put to  

the back of the queue for release and months 56 57  and so on so the XRP will be put back into escrow  

to be used at a later day so with that 55 billion  XRP the ripple team intends to use those monthly  

coins those 1 billion coins a month as incentive  to onboard banks and onboard institutional  

investors onto the network so I just want to be  very clear xrp the coin the cryptocurrency while  

those individual coins they are decentralized the  fact is that because so much of the total supply  

is locked away and released every month for ripple  to use because of that that's why XRP is more  

centralized than other competing cryptocurrencies  the majority of the cryptocurrency community they  

see that centralization often as a negative the  XRP community on the other hands they see that  

centralization as a positive this is ripples  plan right here using these coins being able  

to have access to these coins that's their  plan to be able to reach adoption does this  

amount of centralization does this matter to  you or much like the ripple team do you see  

that centralization as the reason that XRP will be  adopted let me know down below in the comments so  

how much XRP would you need to invest in today to  become a millionaire you know what that depends if  

ripple will be the company to reach that adoption  ripples approach to adoption is twofold number one  

in ripples master plan is to get the banks to use  ripples ledger software to be able to send fiat  

money without necessarily requiring XRP so first  ripple just wants to get every single bank to use  

their software which is X current which doesn't  necessarily require XRP you can use many crypto  

currencies many different forms of currencies  when you're using X current with the purpose of  

getting banks to use ripple software instead of  the Swift way this step is important because it  

doesn't radically change the way banks do things  today but it does give them some very valuable  

tools and real time information about their money  transfers this is what most ripple partnered banks  

are talking about when they say they're using  ripples products I like I think this Google Doc  

really illustrates that I like it it's a list of  all current partners with ripple and it's updated  

regularly it was updated a few days ago and the  list is very lengthy I'm gonna leave this in the  

description below but this is important because  when you hear that banks are using ripple it  

doesn't necessarily mean that they're using  XRP there may just be using ripple software  

but what also comes with a software is a ripple  feature called X rapid which does lead to the  

use of using xrp to Ripple's credit ex rapid went  live at the end of last year and since then they  

have been onboarding banks onto ex rapid using XRP  the first adoption step puts the option to use XRP  

right in front of the bank's noses and while at  this time it may seem irrelevant to their existing  

infrastructure it will be profoundly easy to start  using XRP if they get curious why would they want  

to use XRP then well it would take very little  effort to start using the integrated ex rapid  

feature and most importantly XRP eliminates nostro  accounts what is a nostro account this is really  

the key to the value behind XRP to read you the  exact definition a nostro account is an account  

denominated in a foreign currency established  through your own local bank so when one bank  

keeps foreign money at another bank and let me  say this again because this is super important  

using XRP eliminates the need for Noster accounts  the point is that XRP could be that cryptocurrency  

that thrives in the next ten to twenty to fifty  to a hundred years XRP has a shot I would say that  

the negatives to XRP because on this channel no  cryptocurrency is perfect and on this channel we  

will always give you both the positives and the  negatives of each cryptocurrency that's why you  

subscribe having said that stellar lumens they are  a major competitor XRP some people like stellar  

better another potential negative and what we're  starting to see now is that is that banks like JP  

Morgan they're making their own cryptocurrencies  their own JP Morgan coin which leaves some people  

worrying will that leave XRP irrelevant if you ask  x RP they've already planned for it they're still  

gonna need a cryptocurrency to settle between  different banks according to the CEO bread garlic  

house even if every single major bank creates  their own cryptocurrency they're all still gonna  

need x RP to settle between them let me know what  you think in the comments let's get to the numbers  

so if you would have invested $900 in July of 2014  when the market cap of x RP was 22 million had a  

way lower circulating supply and the price of 1xrp  back in 2014 was two-tenths of a penny incredibly  

low if you were to put in $900 back then and then  held and then weighted and pulled out at the peak  

in 2018 which would have been near impossible but  if he got that lucky and you took profit then that  

would have been in over five thousand nine hundred  x and would have turned nine hundred dollars into  

over a million dollars now what would you have to  do today in 2019 when 1xrp equals about 30 cents  

how much would you have to invest if you chose to  invest $1,000 today that would get you over three  

thousand x RP coins and let's just say that after  you invested the market cap of x RP you returned  

to all-time highs now past performance it does not  dictate future performance but let's just say it  

did because it is a nice metric we can look at if  X if you invested today and x RP returned in the  

price of one x RP returned back to what it was  at the beginning of 2018 with 1xrp being worth  

around three dollars and 38 cents that would be  near an 11x gain and that would turn $1000 into  

almost $11,000 so how do we get to a million you  know what let's dare to dream let's just say that  

x RP becomes the x RP standard meaning that it  reaches that adoption and in the future x RP can  

reach a market cap of seven point seven trillion  if this did happen to any cryptocurrency whether  

that be Bitcoin or XR P if this did happen this  would probably be a decade out but let's just  

say that the market cap of x RP equaled gold and  was at seven point seven trillion well if that  

did happen then the price of x RP would be around  $78 per coin which would be incredible compared to  

the 30 cents per coin that we're at now keep in  mind in this calculation I am assuming that the  

circulating supply goes up from the around  38 billion that we have now all the way to

all the way to the total supply that we will  eventually have in the market let's say that  

10 years from now xrp reaches a seven point seven  trillion dollar market cap $78 would be the price  

of 1xrp and let's just say that today with XRP  being around 30 cents per coin let's just say  

that you wanted to hold 5000 of them you thought  that 5000 XRP might be life-changing in the future  

if you wanted to do that then you'd have to  spend about $1,500 today and if you held it  

and the future market cap got to seven point seven  trillion that would get you to about two hundred  

and fifty two x on your money and turn that  fifteen hundred dollars into almost four hundred  

thousand dollars so if $400,000 wasn't quite good  enough and you wanted that million and the future  

market cap it did get to this level then if you  wanted a million you'd have to about double your  

investment today to around three that's it that's  the video today if you've gotten any value from
