[8]
Dear friends!
[9]
Put down your gadgets!
[11]
Turn away
from your computers!
[14]
Get out your scissors,
paper and glue!
[17]
Because it's time
[18]
for a paper adventure!
[21]
All right!
[25]
PAPER TALES
[29]
In one particularly papery land,
[31]
there lived a moose
named Aristotle
[34]
and a woodpecker
named Knock-Knock.
[36]
One bright sunny morning,
[38]
our friends were working out
[39]
when suddenly
[41]
an unexpected guest dropped in.
[43]
An unexpected lady guest,
[45]
to be more exact.
[46]
...four. One two, three... Oh!
[49]
Knock, she must be
looking for you.
[52]
N-n-nope!
[53]
This is the first time
I've seen this chicken.
[56]
I'm sorry...
[58]
Are you looking for somebody?
[60]
The unexpected guest’s name
[62]
was Chicken Molly.
[64]
She told our friends
[65]
that she had gone for a walk
[66]
and got lost,
[68]
and she’d give
this whole sack of grain
[70]
to anyone who would help her
[71]
find her way home.
[72]
Don’t you worry, Molly!
[74]
We’ll take you home
[77]
without any reward at all!
[80]
Ari! This is the first time
[82]
we've ever seen this chicken!
[83]
How are you gonna
find out her address?
[86]
Let’s get going,
[87]
and I’ll explain everything
on the way!
[90]
All is paperfectly simple!
[92]
It turns out there was a hole
[94]
inside of Molly’s grain bag.
[96]
And everywhere she walked
[98]
a trail was left behind.
[101]
So, the followed the grain trail.
[103]
They walked out
to the edge of the forest
[106]
where Chicken Molly’s house stood,
[107]
or, in other words,
[109]
a chicken coop.
[110]
Well, here's where
the grain trail ends.
[113]
And that means...
[115]
It means, Molly,
[117]
we’ve found your way home!
[119]
Hooray!
[121]
Ew! She didn’t even
say “thank you”!
[125]
Well, good deeds are to be done
[127]
for sincerity sake,
[129]
without expecting any gratitude.
[131]
Happy that Chicken Molly
[133]
had found her way home,
[135]
the friends headed back
to their own home.
[137]
But the chicken was there
[139]
waiting for them again.
[141]
Hi, Molly!
[142]
Chicken Molly was surprised.
[144]
How come Knock knew her name?
[147]
She told them
that she went for a walk,
[149]
lost her way
[150]
and she’d give
a whole sack of grain
[153]
to anyone who would help her
[154]
find her way home.
[156]
Knock-Knock,
[157]
I should’ve realized it
right away!
[159]
Chickens have
a very short memory,
[163]
and they forget
everything right away.
[166]
We have to walk
[167]
the poor thing home again.
[170]
It was true.
[171]
The birdy didn't remember Ari
[173]
or Knock,
[174]
or the fact that she’d lost
her way already,
[177]
not so long ago.
[178]
Here you are, Molly.
[180]
We’ve found your home.
[181]
I mean, coop. Again.
[183]
Ari!
[184]
I was just thinking,
[186]
what if Molly forgets
her way home again?!
[189]
Then what do we do?
[191]
Hmm... She won’t anymore!
[194]
Ari gave the absent-minded chicken
[196]
a piece of paper
with her address written on it.
[199]
However, it didn't help
[201]
with Molly’s obliviousness.
[203]
After they returned home,
[205]
the friends met the chicken
there again.
[208]
Molly, where’s the note
[210]
with the address I gave to you?
[213]
It seemed that Molly
had forgotten
[215]
what she would need
the piece of paper for
[217]
and had simply thrown it away.
[222]
Molly, you live
[223]
on the edge of the forest,
[225]
in coop number one!
[227]
So here's another note
[229]
with your address on it.
[232]
Ari, what if Molly
[234]
throws the note away again
[236]
and then gets lost
in the forest?!
[238]
You’re right, Knock!
[240]
Seems like it’s time
[241]
to think paperfully!
[244]
No time to think, Ari!
[246]
It’s time to act.
[247]
Paperfully.
[249]
Knock-Knock had caught up
[250]
to the forgetful Molly
[252]
who, luckily, had not lost
her way yet.
[254]
And meanwhile
[256]
Aristotle took up
his precious double bass
[259]
that helped him
concentrate so much.
[262]
I got it!
[263]
We'll write her address down
[265]
on a boomerang!
[267]
Hooray!
[268]
A paperific idea!
[272]
Take a piece of cardboard
[273]
and draw on it three blades.
[276]
Make sure
all the blades are equal.
[278]
Now, let's cut out
our boomerang,
[281]
bend it along the edges like this,
[284]
and that's it!
[285]
The boomerang is ready!
[287]
If you try to throw it,
[288]
it'll definitely come back.
[292]
Aristotle wrote the address down
on the boomerang
[295]
and presented it
to the forgetful Molly.
[298]
You see, Molly,
[300]
a boomerang will always return
[302]
to the one who threw it.
[304]
So now the address
[307]
written on this note
[308]
will always be with you.
[310]
How paperific!
[313]
Now, Molly, you'll always
know exactly
[316]
where your home is!
[317]
Now, the friends were able
to stop worrying.
[320]
Chicken Molly
found her way home,
[322]
and they found
their order and tranquility.
[325]
And that means
our story folded up
[328]
very paperfully!
