it's very easy for people that live in westernized  countries to look at cryptocurrencies as a  

solution that's not really necessary around  the world but if you come from countries that  

are third world countries countries that don't  specifically do well economically or countries  

that experience a lot of oppression economically  you really find that cryptocurrencies are a  

very big solution to the cries of many within  those countries classic examples are zimbabwe  

of venezuela where currencies crashed and people  could only depend on cryptocurrencies as a way to  

actually transact or store rather their currencies  in a way that didn't depreciate based on a  

government's decision and a lot of times people  forget that the world system that we live in today  

was actually created by reserve banks now i want  to take you back a bit think about of a period or  

a time when reserve banks themselves are deciding  how much money they're going to put in the system  

working with banks because a lot of people like  to think that money is a concept we found already  

existing no money actually came from somewhere and  it came from people that started reserve banks and  

worked together with banks and got themselves  to an extent they were able to loan out money  

and as a result of that keep taking interest on  that loan and monitoring the interest rates of  

those loans and that whole wheel in cycle going  through that today we live in a world where it's  

already decided for us that your currencies were  this much your currencies were that much and  

the big question that i want to ask everybody the  big question we should ask ourselves is why is it  

that no african currency is worth as much as the  western world currencies it's close to the dollar  

is close to currencies like the pound the  euro why is it that african currencies  

are on the back end of things why is it  that african currencies are valued so low  

and many of these reasonings or many of  these things are the fact that africa  

had a bit of a late start when it comes to  actually setting up the monetary system but  

also it comes from something people have termed  the gold standard or the fractional reserve system  

where people were basing currency value based on  minerals that they actually have reserve banks  

would say they hold this amount of minerals and as  a result that shows or that demonstrates that the  

value should be of a certain amount now what we  know ladies and gentlemen is that africa holds the  

most amount of minerals as compared to any other  part of the world in fact countries like drc congo  

they actually have mineral deposits that could  supply the world for years and years and years  

different types of minerals that are valuable  beyond even some economies gdps now the big  

question that a lot of people have always asked  themselves is how do you make economic differences  

fair how do you make sure that a a child  born in nigeria works and earns in a currency  

that's equal to somebody who's born in london  somebody who's born in the us and the only way  

you can start to fix those sort of errors is to  start by correcting the currency injustice and  

what digital currency does ladies and gentlemen  is it takes away a country's rule or a specific  

reserve bank's rule over a currency and it gives  it to the people black white indian chinese

any single person in the world  can participate in an economy  

can actually get a hold of a currency that's  actually influenced by demand and supply  

by their peers and bigger yet that's actually  opened up through a blockchain and the whole world  

is able to see exactly what's going on with that  specific currency it's easy for people in america  

who the dollar works for them every single day  not to see this but for somebody sitting in gabon  

in lagos in johannesburg in harare where they want  to become as wealthy as the rest of the political  

or the rest of the individuals all around the  world that are in different political spheres  

it's difficult for them to ever make it we look  at things like the forbes list that comes out  

every single year and africans are nowhere  to be seen spanish hispanic indians  

some of them they based on the currency of their  values based on the jurisdiction wherever they  

live we find that many of them are put in a very  disadvantageous position and cryptocurrencies  

comes to fix this so the next time you hear  somebody say there is no need for cryptocurrencies  

think again because cryptocurrencies  are an answer to a very big problem  

and what's the problem that problem is the  current system of money that we have in the world
