i used to ride with the saints and

the only sports bike club here with all

the hot boys that everybody knew

we started i was supposed to be the

sister club to the trains and centers

but then

you know katrina was like i don't care

what you want to be

i want to be in new orleans so she came

and pushed everybody out

because of katrina we didn't get

everything together like we wanted to

so we came back and revamped it with a

whole new click of ladies

most of the women in our club are women

who have been watching us

for years every year we add new curves

so it allows for us to have to

learn how to function a little better

with different curves

some of us work nine to five jobs a lot

own our own businesses and do our own

and i am an assistant to the marticious

we make our paychecks different ways but

beauty salon owner and then i get on the

bike and i bad ass bike

i know that it's dangerous we all know

i fell off on the 610 they have like

in the highway they had a dump truck

and when that thing hit that dip them

rocks just took their time

i broke my left ankle i got a

replacement right kneecap

and a whole lot of skin missing i shaved

my hands down to like the bone

i didn't even think these lines and

stuff come back they come back they

originally i did not know i was like oh

i'm gonna be able to rob the bank and

they can't catch me i ain't got no

i didn't think i was ever gonna be able

to use my hands again with them things

when my best friend's boyfriend passed

away and i cried and cried and

i parked my bike for about six or seven

months and i didn't move it

my family worries about me on the bikes

all the time

it wasn't my plan to want to do wheelies

and burn rubber i really just wanted to

ride a bike

at first but eventually when you're

riding and

all the guys are doing all these things

i'm one of those girls that feel like

i want to do what the guys do better

so i feel like i look better than them

while i'm doing it and i do it better

them so i'm winning all the way around

my bike is a part of my identity like an

alter ego

it's like i'm in control of this i own

this this is me we are one together

my daughter admires me riding bikes she

just loves it she's like

mommy you're gonna take a ride mommy

gonna do this she's gonna do that it

gives us something to look forward to

when she grows up and that's what

we're striving for to be able to pass
