2020 tesla's stock split somewhere

around the mid 1300 price we've seen the

stock price get that close only recently
[19]
and with these new factories and q4
[21]
profits it is certainly a possibility
[24]
that the stock price would probably
[26]
exceed the price it was when it split
[28]
last time which means that it's possible
[31]
tesla's stock price could go absolutely
[34]
crazy last time the split was announced
[36]
the stock increased 30

is that so hard to believe it can happen
[41]
again now the market will be expecting
[43]
it so much so that perhaps it will jump
[46]
even higher this time before likely a
[48]
fast readjust when many people take
[51]
profits alright so there is even a
[53]
possibility that tesla could shortly
[55]
open their factories and hit perhaps as
[58]
high as a three dollar eps for q4 all of
[61]
this will obviously create a huge boost
[63]
in the stock price which would make it
[65]
exceed the previous stock price when the
[68]
last split was announced i mean to be
[70]
honest if these events occurred i think
[72]
it's possible the stock price could
[74]
shoot past fifteen hundred dollars that
[77]
is a huge jump and as i think there is a
[80]
reasonable chance of so many stock
[82]
boosting events coming up i've
[83]
personally backed up this idea with some
[86]
options too an opportunity like this

does not come up often
[90]
in fact i've bet quite a bit on this and
[92]
i could stand to lose it all possibly
[94]
but the potential payoff is worth it in
[96]
my opinion so once these events occur

then it sends the stock price so high

that tesla will inevitably have to

announce another split if we were at a
[105]
fifteen hundred dollar stock price and
[107]
this announcement boosts the stock a
[109]
further thirty percent then that takes
[111]
us to a two thousand dollar stock price
[114]
i mean as a huddling shareholder this is
[116]
also exciting and you get to see your
[118]
stock and net worth rise significantly
[120]
but the stock will readjust eventually
[122]
but the price could still remain strong
[124]
north of 1500. one of the reasons tesla
[127]
have to split is because it's too hard
[129]
for the employee's stock purchase plan

tester want to make it easy for their
[133]
employees to own stock i don't believe
[135]
they can buy fractions of stock like

some trading platforms allow let's be
[139]
realistic here tesla don't want their
[141]
stock price trading too high likely for
[144]
several reasons it is going to split

alright there could be some major macro
[148]
or black swan events where tesla and the
[150]
market crash so much that perhaps tesla

doesn't need to split for a little bit

longer on the other hand it could
[156]
approach its last pre-split price this

month tesla will have unbelievable q4

profits we're talking over 10 times what
[166]
they were the last q4 over 10x in eps

within just one year in january 2021

tesla traded as high as 940 dollars at
[178]
the time i'm recording this the stock
[180]
price is less than 10 percent higher
[183]
than that yet we have over 10 x eps we
[187]
also have two new factories where
[190]
everything pretty much went to plan
[192]
except for regulatory issues with berlin
[194]
and the cyber truck was delayed about a
[196]
year and china will be about three or
[199]
four times bigger than initially assumed
[201]
too these are the events that have
[203]
happened over the last year anyway you
[206]
were there i was there we witnessed all
[208]
that became of tesla over the last year
[210]
this isn't meant to be about how low
[212]
tesla's stock price appears to be
[213]
relative to everything else that has
[215]
happened this is more about what is
[217]
ahead of us such as q4 earnings
[219]
accompanied with the earnings call which
[221]
we know is going to be a big deal
[223]
because elon is on it it may be streamed
[226]
with live video in austin perhaps and
[228]
then elon might officially announce the
[230]
opening of giga austin there is
[233]
obviously going to be something or some
[235]
things mentioned that are a big deal on
[238]
this call with outstanding earnings and
[240]
at least one factory opened in the next
[243]
couple of months it has a strong
[245]
possibility of pushing the stock price
[247]
into split potential prices the market
[249]
may even preemptively feel it coming and
[252]
push the price up before even any
[255]
mention of a split just the mere inkling
[258]
that it's on the way this could end up
[260]
raising the chances of the split even
[262]
further thus resulting in more people
[264]
preemptively purchasing possibly
[266]
resulting in a self-fulfilling prophecy
[268]
there are a lot of potential catalysts
[270]
coming up right now that could create
[272]
some momentum in the stock price again
[274]
just to remind you the last quarterly
[277]
results that were announced took the
[279]
stock price above 1200 dollars now the
[282]
q4 result is going to be at least fifty
[285]
percent higher than the last just called
[287]
it over quarter i think probably even
[289]
over sixty percent higher this is a
[292]
gigantic leap in profits just over a
[295]
quarter
[296]
if this is also pushed with the austin
[298]
opening then
[299]
that's some serious momentum for the
[301]
stock the price could leap austin
[304]
opening is a really big deal because we
[306]
get 4680 specifications from the
[308]
vehicles all the speculation on what
[311]
difference these batteries will make to
[312]
the vehicles will be put to rest they
[314]
will likely have faster charging
[316]
capabilities and longer range with
[318]
higher performance and a lighter weight
[321]
we are continually hearing about the
[322]
latest and greatest technology from each
[325]
of the legacy autos or chinese orders
[327]
well this is the latest and greatest
[330]
from tesla for their mainstream model
[333]
it's the biggest deal since the 2170
[335]
battery was introduced it will be an
[337]
even greater leap in technology than the
[339]
2170 was from the 18650 and it's all
[343]
tesla this is why it's one other reason
[345]
the austin opening is such a massive
[347]
deal all of these events and others
[350]
could push the stock price up and
[351]
maintain it there resulting in tesla
[354]
announcing a split tesla will likely do
[356]
at least 2.5 billion dollars in net
[358]
profit q4 annualized that comes to 10
[361]
billion dollars if you think tesla
[363]
should have a quarterly pe ratio of 150
[366]
that puts the stock price at around
[367]
fifteen hundred dollars even if the p e
[370]
ratio isn't as high for that event then
[372]
they're the other events to improve its
[374]
chances of reaching split level to be
[377]
honest if you are hodling tesla for
[379]
years and years the split is of little
[381]
consequence to you although it may allow
[384]
you to accumulate shares a bit easier if
[386]
you can't buy it fractions in the long
[388]
run it makes very little difference but
[390]
for me if there is a chance of a split
[392]
around the corner i feel it prudent to
[395]
always have some options on the go just
[397]
in case it's announced and that is one
[399]
thing that the split will do it will
[400]
make options trading a lot easier and
[402]
less risky the options will only be
[404]
about one-fifth the price they are today
[407]
this may not even be tesla's last split
[409]
anytime soon either there are plenty of
[411]
projections i've done that see tesla's
[413]
stock price at five thousand dollars
[416]
before 2025 it may depend on a lot of
[418]
things right now everyone is talking
[420]
about the macro issues though which may
[423]
inevitably affect pe ratios but in
[425]
reality usually the only macro events
[428]
that affect the stock price is a crash
[430]
until then it will pretty much keep
[432]
going up well up and down in an upward
[435]
trend until it drops the fact that
[437]
everyone is talking macro macro macro
[440]
right now probably means it's not going
[442]
to crash it usually catches people off
[444]
guard also the insanity is usually at
[447]
the peak before the crash in the last
[449]
six months building up to a crash you
[451]
usually see the highest increases but
[453]
there are some dangerous events circling
[455]
around the economy so you never can tell
[458]
and you never can predict them look how
[460]
many people have been talking about a
[461]
crash coming just about every month last
[464]
year as john maynard kane said the
[466]
markets can remain irrational longer
[469]
than you can remain solvent markets are
[471]
not something you can predict i don't
[473]
try to and i'm clear that i don't try to
[476]
i do however plan on putting together
[478]
some crash insurance as i'm flying a
[480]
little bit close to the sun rather than
[482]
attempt to predict the markets i do the
[485]
best i can to predict the future of
[487]
tesla and as we're just starting to see
[489]
now that tesla is done covering its opex
[492]
it will start making some serious money
[494]
as we're about to witness for the first
[496]
time in q4 sadly this may be the only
[499]
time for a little while as these new
[501]
factories would take some time to ramp
[503]
up efficiently enough to make profits
[505]
towards the end of the year when the new
[506]
factories are seeing some decent volume
[509]
then tesla will be one serious money
[511]
maker double deliveries means a lot more
[513]
than double profits either way i see all
[516]
of these events as enough to take the
[518]
stock price to the next level perhaps
[520]
trading between thirteen hundred and
[522]
fifteen hundred
[523]
which is tesla stock split price
