things that can considered are

the risks of non-appearance seriousness

of the offense and previous criminal

record um just to go into a few of those

on how they relate to

she lives and since she lived in

cincinnati her whole life she's never

failed to appear in court

her mother regina is actually here

in the gallery with us she is sure that

her daughter will be at every court

appearance even if the court were to

require her to come to every pre-trial

conference she will be there

um regarding the series of the

that case was dealing with felonies why

did we are generally misdemeanors not to

belittle the charge but i mean we are

um and as far as previous criminal

records she has no adult criminal record

um your honor she does have a juvenile

record um and looking at that i see she

has

one assault and five non-violent

misdemeanors um again that is not an

extensive criminal record um

to

give her a twenty thousand dollar bond

she currently having the assault um ms

parker she's 18 years old in an adult

jail for the first time she works at

mcdonald's so to judge a word i would do

like a cash bond the most you could do

is 3 000 and 10 percent um we believe

she believes that is enough i guess

skin in the uh not skinning the game to

assure her appearance in the court

um and if the court requires she voted

for pre-trials but as you said

as i said i've spoken with her mother

and her mother will ensure her

appearance in courtroom so we would be

asking to reduce the bond to something

more reasonable as three thousand and

ten percent or no more bond

the bond is currently twenty thousand at

four independent witnesses have asserted

male victim in this case was walking the

female victim colleen

to an uber

and a male assaulted david

other males jumped in and began beating

and miss parker

came over to colleen who was seated on

the ground watching her husband get

beaten

came over to colleen and attacked her

multiple witnesses jumped in to break it

up after the fight dispersed ms parker

came back over to the female victim

and again was trying to assault her

the police apprehended miss

she was with these men that jumped david

if i could go under her criminal history

a little bit she does have a juvenile

record including assault

mr behead said that the most she can

afford is three hundred dollars i heard

on the jail phone call the mom is

prepared to pay the bond today

at two thousand so we are asking for the

bond to be hired based on the series of

this of the

offense um and the victim colleen herman

would like to speak to the court today

i am asking that the bond not be lowered

and that she remained in jail

this has been extremely traumatic for my

family

i'm a stay-at-home mother of two babies

i've never had a fight in my life

my children have been staying with my

parents

because i'm too afraid to have them

at my home
[282]
i haven't seen my babies in a week
[284]
because i'm too afraid for them to see

my face

i can't

sleep at night because i keep dreaming

of

being punched over and over again

i can't drive

um

without worrying i can't go to the store

without

truly

i tried to go to the store yesterday and

i started crying having a breakdown i'm

gonna have to go to therapy um

i don't feel safe

and if she is out i don't feel safe and

the people that she was with
[318]
are not caught i have no idea where they

are i am constantly in fear that they're
[324]
going to attack us
[328]
so i ask that uh please keep my family

safe and keep her
[332]
in jail or hopefully and i do pray that

she has a change of heart

was there anything leaders that led up
[344]
to this
[346]
assault the parties know each other no
[347]
the parties do not know each other

it seems like

this group of males and miss parker
[356]
um
[357]
preyed on them
[358]
walking to their uber
[360]
and

attacked them
[362]
there was i would like to mention

something new that came up since
[366]
arraignment
[367]
and that is that the male victim had
[370]
two phones on his person one being his
[372]
wife's and his and his wallet and those
[374]
were taken after the assault was
[376]
concluded
[378]
all right uh
[380]
well this
[382]
does not appear to be an ordinary
[383]
assault case
[386]
the allegations here
[388]
are serious
[389]
i think the bond is
[391]
reasonable
