IKEA Haul! How to Buy Household Products on a Budget: Clean My Space - YouTube

You guys love haul videos and I love shopping.
[4]
So this is a win-win situation. Now, last time we did a haul video,
[8]
we went to Target. We asked you in the
[10]
comment box where you wanted us to go next time.
[12]
You put the four letter word in the comment box.
[15]
So a few days ago Chad and I headed over to the very popular,
[20]
very famous IKEA, picked up a bunch of stuff, and now we're going to show
[24]
you what we've picked up at our IKEA Haul.
[27]
All of our Swedish followers are probably going to laugh
[30]
their butts off at my pronunciations, but just bear with me guys.
[35]
Okay. This is a really cool, accordion- style potholder or pot lid holder.
[42]
It's called Variera, and it's available in the kitchen section.
[49]
It was about 10 bucks, and it's really good for creating efficient space
[53]
for all of those pot lids. I really like this. Glad I picked it up.
[56]
These containers, many of you who have seen our kitchen reno video
[61]
or our kitchen tour video have probably seen
[63]
these containers in the cupboard.
[66]
They are really great for storing dry goods.
[68]
I don't have the name of them on the package, but they are in the
[72]
IKEA 365 section, which is the kitchen section.
[75]
They are very wonderful, and I got an extra pair,
[78]
because I have more dry goods that need to be stored.
[80]
Next item, this one's really easy to pronounce, Soda.
[84]
These giant straw packs, I think, yeah, there are 200 in here.
[89]
They were $0.99, and I love using straws for smoothies.
[93]
They protect my teeth from staining. $0.99, 200 straws, you cannot go wrong.
[99]
Next thing we got was this funky little dish brush.
[103]
It does not have a name, I don't believe.
[106]
But the cool thing is that it's got a plunger
[110]
and if this was not a wood surface, I'm sure it would stick beautifully.
[115]
And it's really great because the plunger allows the brush to drip dry.
[119]
Fantastic thing for your kitchen, and I think this was around $1 or $2.
[124]
And as you can see, IKEA is not afraid of color.
[127]
These are very convenient plunger suction cup hooks.
[131]
So these I have earmarked for the bathroom.
[134]
I think I'm going to use them in my shower to hang my squeegee --
[138]
no, my squeegee has a plunger -- my loofah and my pumice stone
[141]
for my foot. I have two of those, feet.
[145]
And Chad's going to use them in his bathroom for the same thing.
[149]
They're really great because they're reusable.
[150]
You can pop them off and put them on wherever you like.
[152]
Again, very inexpensive and you get four very cute, very colorful plunger hooks.
[157]
The next thing I picked up were two packages of S hooks.
[161]
They are called Grundtal. You get five of them in a pack.
[166]
They were not very expensive. And the reason I decided to pick up
[169]
S hooks was because I recently saw a cool, little hack
[172]
that I'm going to be sharing with you guys in an upcoming video,
[175]
and it has to do with your bedroom closet. So stay tuned for that.
[179]
This is called Filur, like fill her up,
[183]
and what a great name because it's a garbage can.
[186]
The reason we got this garbage can was Chad wanted a new garbage can for his...
[192]
I was going to say for his kitchen. Chad wanted a new garbage can
[196]
for his office, because he had a see-through one and he didn't like
[199]
seeing all of his garbage building up. So he figured this was a nice alternative.
[204]
Very classy. There you go Chad, enjoy.
[209]
The thing I love about IKEA is they have all kinds of staples there,
[213]
and these little jars here are called Rajtan.
[217]
And the reason these are great is they fit beautifully in my
[223]
spice cupboard, which I'm sure many of you have seen.
[226]
And I use these to store my spices currently.
[228]
And since I am always trying out new things in the kitchen,
[231]
I figured I would pick up four more of these so I could get some new spices.
[236]
We also picked up some of this.
[238]
It might look crafty to you, but it does serve a wonderful purpose.
[242]
This is for concealing all of your cables. Some people call it cable trunking.
[246]
Some people call it cable keepers.
[248]
Or I don't know. You call it whatever you want.
[250]
This comes with some tie wraps, which are great because you can
[253]
actually stuff your cables inside this spirally container for your cables,
[259]
and then you can tie wrap it to table legs or any of those
[264]
under-the-table storage solutions that you might have seen somewhere
[268]
in an office supply store or at IKEA. These are called Rabalders.
[273]
Rabalder, you can get those at IKEA, and they will help
[277]
keep your office nice and organized.
[279]
It is almost tax time, so we decided to pick up
[282]
a couple of these Kassett boxes. They were a little bit expensive,
[287]
but they're very durable. They're made with metal edges
[290]
and thick, thick, thick cardboard. So they're really good for keeping
[293]
papers and files and all that kind of stuff.
[295]
So Chad was adamant that we picked up a couple more of these.
[298]
These nifty, little storage bins have been getting quite a lot
[304]
of great feedback on our videos whenever we are in the kitchen.
[307]
This one that we have in the kitchen is red and white.
[310]
So we didn't see any more colored ones. They only had white on white.
[313]
But they are indeed called... oh, we don't have a name on this one.
[318]
Oh no, we don't have a name on them. But I know if you go to our
[323]
kitchen videos, a lot of people will talk about the name of the product.
[328]
And I'm sure a lot of you guys will know the name of the product
[331]
and you'll start flurrying the comments with the name of the product.
[334]
But anyway, they're available in the kitchen section.
[336]
They come in two sizes. We like these.
[338]
We use them under the kitchen sink to keep sponges
[341]
and cleaning products and tools separate from one another.
[344]
So I've really enjoyed compartmentalizing with these.
[347]
We also use them for salt, pepper, and napkins,
[350]
and all kinds of great stuff in the kitchen.
[352]
And we're going to be using these in our newly renovated laundry room,
[357]
which we will show you as soon as it is done.
[359]
Next thing we picked up was this. It is called Skubb.
[364]
And Skubb is a lot cooler than it sounds because it is one of those
[368]
hanging organizer solutions. It's made out of a fabric material.
[374]
It's got these Velcro loops, which will basically Velcro onto a cross bar.
[379]
And what happens is when we renovate our laundry room, we are getting
[383]
some extra hanging space, and we're going to use this
[386]
as a solution to keep some of our off-season shoes.
[389]
We also picked up this beautiful looking beast.
[393]
It is called the Rimforsa.
[396]
And what does the Rimforsa do, you might ask?
[401]
It's a tablet holder and it's pretty. So I use a lot of recipes on Pinterest.
[408]
You guys that follow me on Instagram know that because I'm always
[411]
Instagraming my food. And I pretty much pin all
[415]
of my recipes on Pinterest, which means that I need
[418]
some sort of computational device in the kitchen so that
[421]
I can reference it while I'm cooking. Therefore, having a nice, little stand
[426]
for the old tablet makes a lot of sense. So when we saw this, it was
[430]
about 15 bucks, we thought it was a good thing to pick up.
[432]
That brings this IKEA Haul to an end.
[436]
But not quite yet, because I need to know: Where are we going on our next haul video?
[440]
Let me know your request in the comments down below.
[443]
