Friends, first we have to generate One Time Pin for that new ATM card.

To generate One Time Password,

the new ATM card that you have

and the Punjab National Bank account number from which it has been issued to you,

and the mobile number linked with that account number,

in which you get messages or SMS related to that account number,

you need to send an SMS from that registered mobile number.

After typing DCPIN, give a space and type the number of your new ATM card.

That would be of 16 digits. Enter the whole of it.

DCPIN in capital followed by a space and 16 digits new ATM card's number.

Now send it to 5607040.

Once you send the message to 5607040,

you will get a message after sometime on your registered mobile number from Punjab National Bank.

This message will have your 6 digits OTP.

That will have your 6 digit One Time Pin.

Friends, you have to take care of two things.

First, you have to send this message from that registered mobile number,

only then you will receive One Time Pin.

If you send this SMS from a different number, you won't get One Time Pin.

Second, the validity of this One Time Pin is 72 hours from the moment you receive it.

It means you have 72 hours to go to any Punjab National Bank ATM

to change your new ATM card pin with the help of this One Time Pin.

To change the PIN, follow the steps shown ahead.

Friends, for this, you have to go to any Punjab National Bank's ATM.

And there swipe your new ATM card in the ATM machine.

After swiping, select your language in which you want to see further options.

After selecting, you will see these options on the ATM machine.

Click on the Enter Green Pin (OTP) option which you'll see on your left side.

Once you will click Enter Green Pin, you will see a screen

which will ask you to enter your 6 Digit Green Pin OTP.

Enter 6 Digit OTP that you generated for your new ATM card.

Click "Yes" after entering your 6 digit OTP.

After clicking yes, you'll see 'Transaction Under Process' for some time.

And then a new window will open on your ATM machine

That will ask you to 'Enter Your New ATM Pin'

Here you can enter a 4 digit PIN for your ATM card that you will be using in the future.

After entering, click on 'Press Here' written on the right side.

a new window will open that will ask you to re-enter your ATM PIN.

Here enter the same 4 digit PIN that you generated in the last step.

After re-entering your PIN, again click on 'Press Here'

On clicking 'Press Here', you will see 'Your Transaction Under Process' for some time.

After some time, you will see 'PIN Changed Successfully' on your screen.

It means your ATM pin has changed.

And with this your new ATM card will activate completely.
