Alright guys, today we will be taking a deeper look into all of the hidden features on coinmarketcap.com
[4]
These are the tools that many people don’t even know about, but may give you an extra
[7]
edge when you are making your trading or investment decisions!
[10]
Welcome to CoinMarketCap Tuesday Tutorials, where we make it easy for you to get the most
[15]
out of all the crypto tools out there.
[16]
I’m Trev and here at CoinMarketCap, we love making videos about “all things crypto.”
[21]
If you want more videos like this videos, make sure to hit the like button down below!
[24]
So last time, we talked about all the main features the site has to offer, including
[28]
the coins you can see on the main page, they are sorted by Market Capitalization.
[31]
Now, while Market Capitalization is a very important metric, it shouldn't be used as the sole
[36]
metric to evaluate the overall performance of a coin.
[39]
Because
market cap cannot, for example, account for who holds a coin.
[42]
If developers or “whales” own a significant portion of a coin’s total circulation, any
[47]
movement on their part could result in massive price swings, yet this imbalance would not
[52]
be reflected in what is seemingly a healthy market cap.
[55]
that is why, While Market Cap is a great Starting Point
[57]
, you have to look deeper, dive deeper into what the project actually is and its potential.
[63]
And all this information, you guessed it correctly, can be found on Coin Market Cap
[67]
You can look at price movement daily, weekly,
[68]
Look at volume aka how many coins actually changed hands.
[72]
And dive deeper with your own criteria

[74]
AS YOU KNOW, we all have strengths and weaknesses...
[76]
We all have areas of interests where we have a better informational advantage.
[80]
And you can create your own custom search, to find the projects that best suit you
[83]
Following your interests, following the industries you are most familiar with, and where you
[87]
can see blockchain technology having a real impact.
[91]
For example, one of my latest interests is Play2Earn and Crypto Games.
[95]
So I can go on the site, select Games, and then I would have a list of all the projects
[99]
I wouldn’t necessarily see on the very first page, but may still be great.
[104]
We can also dive even deeper with our criteria, let’s say I’m also looking for some staking
[108]
opportunities.
[110]
Narrowing down our search even further.
[111]
(do the camera switch) What are your interest?
[113]
And which projets are you most excited about?
[115]
Let us know in the comments below!
[117]
Now, once you select a specific project, you can go into it and find all the information
[121]
you will need to make an educated decision of how to proceed forward.
[125]
You have links with everything related to the project.
[128]
From it’s general website, to resources, to social media accounts.
