something that's making millions of

dollars the last 10 years and that's

government contracting so what is

government contracting essentially it's

selling products and services to the

government but wait I know what you're

thinking I said you don't the same thing

it's true for the government they

already have a list of all the products

and services they're looking for and

sometimes are even willing to tell you

how much they want to pay for it so

simply if you can place an order you can

sell to the government

a couple sites bedsides for the 3rd

site we're looking at here is I feel

solicitations and/or pre solicitations

and you can essentially scroll through

see if there's anything on me but you

have any interest to you this is

interesting the government is seeking to

lease some space in this area

twenty-seven thousand three or a B of a

square feet the terms of the lease it

goes back to what I was saying earlier

when all types of people industries can

do business with the government so here

would be perfect opportunity for a

you can go under packages and it tells

you the solicitation tells you all the

package and all the items that are

affiliated with that particular

solicitation and then there's some

advanced search techniques but one of

the things about FBO is this is probably

the most commonly used website so

there's a lot of good tutorials on how

to use it there's no way no reason for

me to go into it today another one of

the sites that that's an auction site

for selling to the government is called

fed bid and fed bit allows you to

register as a seller and it's basically

a reverse auction here's some of the

support questions that one some person

asks which is basically can I see my

competitors and their bids no you will

not view the identities until after that

the deal has closed but fed bid is a
[255]
really popular reverse auction site

essentially the government will buy

screws nuts bolts things of that nature

and they'll just say we want to buy ten

thousand of them and it'll give you the

specifics on it and you essentially

provide them a place another office

and search procurement opportunities

here as well both open and closed with

stations you can look at things

associated with cage codes and part

numbers and then a date range and then

the last site we're gonna look at is

called Defense Logistics Agency or dibs

is for the short acronym and again same

thing RFQ search I actually went through

the process and did the search and then

I pulled up an opportunity here and I

and this was basically something pretty

simple standard they're looking for some

masks this is what the actual document

looks like once you download it get past

the screen and it gives you all

information who's the buyer where they

want it sent what's the timeframe which

they want it gives you all the contact
[324]
information for the people the
[326]
solicitation number how many pages are

in the document that it was issued the

data to do whatnot

working in this industry your

competitors that have all the resources

and all the skills and all the talent

the government incentivizes those

persons to work with you as well I mean
