Staffers Are FURIOUS That Trump Has Ruined Their Careers - YouTube

More and more stories continue to pour out about how angry Trump staffers are about the
[13]
fact that not only can they not find a job outside of the white house, thanks to Trump's
[17]
behavior, but the latest reports that have come out just over the last two days have
[23]
talked about the fact that these staffers are furious, that Trump doesn't care.
[32]
Now that part to me is what is surprising.
[35]
See, here's the thing that, that I'm so shocked that these staffers don't realize here, Donald
[41]
Trump has never in his life done anything that would indicate that this man is even
[47]
capable of caring about how his actions affect another human being.
[53]
I mean, really think about it, not just during the presidency, either, by the way, um, think
[59]
of the access Hollywood tape, right?
[62]
You just do it.
[63]
He says, and when you're you're famous, they, they let you do it.
[66]
Uh, he doesn't care about other human beings.
[70]
All the defamation suits the guy is facing for, you know, uh, allegedly slandering these
[75]
individuals and, and destroying their lives.
[78]
He on care, it's always about him.
[82]
So again, I asked you even before he was president, what did these staffers think was going to
[85]
happen to them?
[87]
They saw what happened to everybody who had been associated with this man in the past.
[92]
You know, there, there's not necessarily a good, happy ending for these individuals.
[97]
So why are these white house staffers suddenly shocked that Trump, uh, you know, helped incite
[104]
the violence that we saw last week?
[105]
That makes no sense to me, unless they've just been sleepwalking through their entire
[111]
lives and knew nothing about Donald Trump before taking a job with him.
[115]
I don't get it.
[118]
I have been talking for four years now about the fact that these people are eventually
[123]
going to have to answer for their loyalty to Donald Trump.
[127]
And that is exactly what is happening right now.
[130]
Now there's two different sides of this.
[132]
Okay.
[133]
We have the cabinet side, you know, uh, Forbes came out and I talked about this over at bring
[137]
a fire.
[138]
Actually Forbes came out and said, listen, uh, all your businesses, your, your, the Forbes,
[142]
fortune 500, whatever, all that stuff.
[144]
If you hire any of Trump's former cabinet officials, we're going to assume everything
[147]
you say from that point forward is a lie.
[149]
So sure those are horrible people.
[152]
You know, Betsy Devoss has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
[156]
Uh, Andrew Wheeler with the EPA.
[158]
Nope.
[159]
You've helped destroy American's health for a generation or more.
[162]
Uh, I don't care if you don't ever get a job again, ever.
[169]
But what we're talking about in this particular story is the average everyday staffers, you
[172]
know, the people who go and make copies, the people who are in charge of scheduling, the
[176]
people who are in charge of getting the president from point a to point B in charge of making
[181]
the schedules.
[183]
Those people seemingly did nothing wrong, right?
[187]
They weren't making policy.
[189]
They weren't advising the president to do these horrible things, but they did just stand
[194]
there and allow these things to happen.
[197]
And they stood by the president.
[199]
Now, I think back to young man, and again, purely anecdotal, I was working at a restaurant
[205]
at the time.
[207]
The general manager that we had had at this restaurant was beloved by everybody that worked
[210]
there.
[211]
He ended up leaving for a better opportunity.
[213]
Restaurant brought in a new person who was absolutely horrendous, treated us all like
[217]
crap, you know, was horrible to us.
[220]
We didn't like it was screwing with our schedules just to be mean.
[224]
I left actually went and got a job at the other place.
[228]
My former manager went, but I made the choice.
[230]
I knew that I didn't like the way this person was treating me.
[233]
I didn't like what they were doing to the restaurant I was working at.
[236]
So I made the choice to leave and yes, it could have been horribly financially for me,
[242]
but I understood at 21 years old, this person isn't treating me correctly.
[248]
They're not treating other people correctly and I'm not going to stand for that.
[251]
I am making the decision to pull myself out of this situation.
[256]
And sure.
[257]
Working at a restaurant as a, as a bartender is a hell of a lot different than a career
[261]
as a white house staffer.
[263]
I understand that.
[265]
But at the same time, these people knew what Trump was about.
[269]
They have seen him from day one.
[270]
There was no hiding this.
[272]
So for them to act all surprised that I can't believe he would do this and destroy our careers
[276]
were unemployable.
[277]
Now, uh, they said like, we have to wear the Scarlet T for the rest of our lives.
[282]
Yeah, you do.
[283]
Because you were given every available opportunity to abandoned this sinking ship, but instead
[290]
you chose to go down with it.
[292]
And because of that, yeah, you gotta be grownups about it and you have to accept the responsibility
[299]
for your decision to not
[301]
Take action.
