"A trick of light and shadows..." -
[3]
that’s what NASA has called what are potentially the most significant ancient ruins ever discovered.
[10]
What appeared to be a face, pyramids,
[13]
and archaeological ruins on Mars.
[17]
That was almost 50 years ago
[19]
and thanks to extremely low res photographs,
[22]
altered high res photographs,
[25]
and comments stating it’s not worth investigation...
[28]
The area known as Cydonia, remains a complete mystery to the public,
[33]
and images that continue to come from Mars
[36]
distract from what is truly relevant about the red planet
[41]
Meanwhile,
[42]
other researchers have pieced together information so remarkable,
[47]
it led one man - Dr. Tom van Flandern,
[50]
a PhD in Astronomy and formerly Chief of a branch of the US Naval Observatory, to say this in 2002:
[59]
“The odds of the anomalous items imaged in the Cydonia region of Mars being of Natural Origin
[66]
are one thousand billion, billion to one against this theory.
[72]
In other words, the possibility that these objects occurred naturally
[77]
has been ruled out beyond a shadow of a doubt.”

[89]
in Cydonia, on the Mars landscape
[91]
so that you can decide for yourself,
[94]
if you believe an ancient civilization once inhabited the Red Planet.
[100]
(intro)
[115]
Although it's smaller than Earth,
[117]
Mars is the most Earth-like planet in our solar system,
[120]
sharing geological features,
[123]
Including polar ice caps and what appear to be ancient dry riverbeds.
[128]
There's much speculation that Mars was once inhabitable with an oxygen based atmosphere,
[133]
but was somehow destroyed millions of years ago.
[136]
In fact,
[137]
This theory was based on findings that came back from the planet.
[141]
The radioactive debris, revealed the presence of Xenon 129 in the atmosphere
[147]
and even more important,
[149]
an abundance of the radioactive elements - Uranium and Thorium.
[154]
These nuclear isotopes
[156]
are identical to those which occurred after hydrogen bomb tests on Earth.
[161]
Although there appears to be considerable scientific reservation to address it,
[166]
in 2014, Dr. John Brandenburg published his research -
[171]
"Evidence for a Large Anomalous Nuclear Explosions in Mars Past"
[177]
Concluding that Mars may present an example
[181]
of a civilization wiped out by a nuclear attack from space.
[187]
But it's the photographs that were sent back from Mars probes that have most raised eyebrows.
[193]
Perhaps the most well known anomaly on Mars
[196]
is the face,
[197]
taken in a grayscale photograph by NASA's Viking 1 orbiter in 1972 as it passed over the region of Cydonia.
[206]
Not surprisingly,
[208]
NASA's response to the clear shape of the huge 1.5 kilometer face staring into the heavens
[214]
was that it was just a case of pareidolia.
[218]
This is the name given to the tendency to see patterns and familiar things in random data or images.
[225]
In ancient times,
[226]
it was a way to make sense of what didn't make sense
[230]
and has thus been used as a common accusation by sceptics.
[234]
Examples would include seeing Jesus in a piece of toast,
[238]
or an apparition on a building in the shape of the Virgin Mary.
[243]
So it makes sense that seeing a face in a rock on another planet
[249]
would be a clear case of pareidolia...
[252]
except for one thing:
[255]
the multiple pyramids around
[257]
and near the face structure.
[260]
Siting pareidolia,
[262]
however,
[263]
NASA claimed they wouldn't be bothered with exploring it,
[267]
but a passionate researcher named Richard Hoagland,
[271]
gathered his own team of experts
[274]
and discovered some astonishing facts about the structures in the area.
[279]
First,
[280]
note the placement of the pyramids in Cydonia with respect to one another.
[286]
Now, compare this to the placement of the pyramids at Giza in Egypt.
[293]
If that isn't enough to pique your interest,
[295]
now note the location of the pyramids of the Sun in Mexico.
[301]
And finally,
[302]
the placement of the Xi'an pyramids in China.
[307]
But the real eye-opener
[310]
is when you compare all these pyramid structures
[313]
to what appears to be the message of their placement...
[316]
the constellation Orion,
[318]
which shares the exact positions and angles
[321]
with which Giza in particular is known to be perfectly aligned.
[327]
But this was just the beginning.
[329]
What Hoagland's team discovered about Cydonia
[332]
goes far deeper than the existence of a face or pyramids on another planet.
[338]
His team believes
[340]
that Cydonia carries a profound cryptic message -
[344]
one that addresses the consistent latitude
[347]
of the most powerful energy centres of each and every planet...
[351]
and the interdimensional possibilities that that point may hold.
[359]
To understand their discovery,
[361]
we must first clarify why they believe that these images actually reflect an ancient civilization.
[367]
After millions of years, it's a difficult thing to see,
[371]
but there is enough evidence of angularity
[375]
and structural engineering
[377]
to discard the possibility that it was a natural formation.
[381]
Hoagland named what was visible of the structures -
[385]
'the City', 'the Fort', 'the Cliff',
[388]
and 'Tholus', which means a small dome shaped hill.
[394]
The positions with respect to each other revealed the first clue.
[399]
Another clue was found in the pentatonic pyramid,
[403]
named D&M,
[405]
which was engineered with certain geometric angles.
[408]
The angles of the structures and their relationship to each other
[412]
revealed numerical constants well known in math.
[416]
Three of the reoccurring numeric values are:
[420]
0.865,
[422]
the ratio of ‘e’, which is equal to 2.7,
[427]
and pi, which is 3.142.
[432]
These are mathematical basis for the hexagon, the pentagon,
[437]
and the classic proportions of the golden ratio.
[440]
No less than 20 of Cydonia's internal and angled ratios
[446]
redundantly express three square root values.
[450]
All together, the structures are placed to conform to the golden mean.
[456]
Is all of this just a coincidence?
[460]
And is it coincidence that the Pyramids of Giza
[463]
share the same mathematical relationships?
[468]
Then, an even more amazing discovery unfolded:
[471]
the revelations and implications of the number 19.5.
[477]
If you put two tetrahedrons inside a sphere,
[481]
the apexis will hit at exactly 19.5° latitude (north and south).
[488]
This is precisely the latitude, where all major energy vortexes appear on every planet, including Earth.
[497]
The most obvious example is the red storm on Jupiter.
[503]
But also, the vast Olympus volcano on Mars.
[508]
On Earth,
[509]
in addition to Mauna Loa, the most active volcano,
[514]
there are numerous sacred sites at 19.5° latitude north and south.
[521]
This information is well explained in the book
[524]
“Earth Grids: The Secret Patterns of Gaia’s Sacred Sites”
[528]
by Hugh Newman.
[531]
Among the locations that share the 19.5° latitude,
[536]
are those listed here.
[540]
And here is a map.
[544]
The tetrahedral constant 19.5°
[549]
was found encoded everywhere in the region of Cydonia
[554]
There was, for example, a set of 16 little 'mounds' in the 'City' area,
[559]
examined by a man named Horace Crater,
[562]
a physicist and pattern analysis expert at the Tennessee Space Institute.
[567]
Crater was astounded to discover
[569]
the mounds were definitely not randomly placed features.
[573]
Even the angles on these smaller mounds were tetrahedral
[578]
and functions of 19.5°.
[583]
Why is this significant?
[585]
Based on all the evidence the team found,
[588]
they concluded that the latitude of 19.5°,
[592]
and the planet's natural vortex
[594]
is associated with hyperdimensional physics.
[598]
Literally, the potential to transcend dimensions.
[603]
In fact, the ancient symbol of the Merkabah uses the same two tetrahedrons inside a sphere.
[610]
This symbol has been called "the chariot of the God"
[614]
and is known to be a torsion field,
[617]
associated with the expansion of consciousness
[620]
and potentially a gateway to higher dimensions.
[624]
Using the universal language of mathematics,
[627]
the true message of Cydonia,
[630]
according to Hoagland and his team,
[632]
reveals what our ancients knew and conveyed through perfectly aligned architectural engineering.
[640]
This is a good place to note,
[642]
that both Mars explorers - the Viking and the Pathfinder,
[647]
were precisely selected to land on Mars at 19.5° north.
[655]
Also worth noting,
[657]
the tetrahedrons and the merkabah have mysteriously appeared in more than one crop circle in recent years.
[666]
Is someone hoping we see the relevance of this symbol,
[671]
and the association with 19.5° latitude?
[676]
But let's get back to the face.
[679]
Eventually,
[680]
there was a second photo of the face on Mars released,
[684]
but the structure appeared even more dramatically eroded
[688]
and was declared by many to have been modified.
[692]
One person who noticed this
[695]
was the American investigative journalist
[698]
and regional Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker - Linda Moulton Howe.
[703]
As she recounted her investigation of the image,
[706]
she explained how it was offered to her by the government, as it is here,
[712]
but later,
[713]
she traveled to Boston
[715]
and met a man named Mark Carlotto
[717]
who worked in the Analytical Sciences for the Department of Defense.
[721]
It was there she claims, that after enduring grueling top-secret clearance,
[727]
he showed her a high-res image of the face on Mars,
[731]
which was very different from what the public had seen.
[735]
So detailed in fact, that you could see two thin lines across the front,
[740]
similar to the faces in Egypt.
[743]
She said the eye on the full side had a pupil and iris and a white...
[749]
you could definitely see those three parts.
[752]
And in the mouth area, you could see the teeth.
[756]
She described it as a monumental sculpture made with the intent of warding off.
[763]
No one in the public has seen the image that Linda saw,
[766]
but she claims the detail and the ominous nature of it
[770]
will remain imprinted in her mind.
[774]
Another thing Hoagland's team did,
[776]
was to take the left side of the structure,
[778]
visually duplicated and flip it on to the other side.
[783]
It's curious how it resembles the feline-like faces seen in Egypt and on the Sphinx.
[791]
It would be good to mention that Cydonia's face is not the only one that appears on Mars.
[798]
In fact,
[799]
there have been so many images of face and head-like structures,
[805]
it becomes stranger to think they're all naturally occurring
[809]
and were not the result of some kind of intelligent design.
[815]
If the relationship between the red planet
[817]
and our own is not evident,
[820]
there are some ancient derivatives from multiple cultures that are worth considering.
[825]
For example,
[826]
the Egyptian capital Cairo is derived from the name Al-Qahirah,
[832]
denoting Mars "the victorious"
[835]
The ancient Egyptians called Mars 'Horus of the Horizon' (Horakhti),
[841]
which was the very same name given to the Great Sphinx.
[844]
Mars was also called 'Horus the Red'
[847]
and for a long time the Sphinx was painted red.
[852]
Just as the Great Sphinx is the hybrid of a man and lion,
[856]
in ancient Hindu myths
[858]
Mars was known as the man-lion.
[863]
These are just a few of many references to the red planet in our ancient history.
[869]
Mars continues to make news,
[871]
but if you try to search online for detail about Cydonia,
[875]
you'll be left with the deep frustration and mystery.
[878]
Any photographs that you do see
[881]
are typically so old, or low res,
[884]
they reveal next to no detail.
[886]
NASA has repeatedly dismissed this area as unworthy of closer investigation.
[893]
Meanwhile,
[894]
researchers and citizens alike
[897]
have often asked how it is that we can see the details of galaxies billions of miles away,
[904]
or a license plate from a distance of hundreds of miles away,
[908]
but simply have old grainy photos
[912]
of the most enigmatic and important area on Mars.
[917]
Former NASA astronaut,
[919]
Dr. Brian O'Leary was skeptical,
[922]
but after looking through the hard evidence became a believer,
[926]
even publishing his research at Harvard,
[929]
which he titled:
[930]
"Analysis of images of the "face" on Mars and possible intelligent origin.
[937]
O'Leary revealed two things:
[939]
that the second image of the face that Carl Sagan released had been tampered with,
[945]
and he explained why it was modified:
[950]
"I began to realize...
[952]
that (Sagan) was colluding with NASA...
[955]
It was very, very disappointing to me because not only was Carl wrong,
[960]
he also fudged data...
[962]
(saying) that the 'Face' was just a natural formation.
[966]
He doctored the picture to make it not look like a face.
[970]
There was a report issued by the Brookings Institution in 1961 -
[976]
...he and this other group said:
[978]
'Well, if any ETs ever showed up on the Earth,
[981]
it has to be covered up.
[983]
That's the only way we're going to be able to manage this,
[986]
because if we can't, then it would be too much of a culture shock".
[992]
Another important physicist who managed the Clementine mission to the Moon -
[996]
John Brandenburg,
[998]
also spoke out about the structures on the surface of Mars
[1002]
and shared the insanity of it from a scientists point of view:
[1007]
"These two pictures tell you everything you need to know about what's at Cydonia Mensa.
[1012]
If you see on a planet that used to be Earth-like,
[1015]
a carved human face and a pyramid within 5 km of each other...
[1021]
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what this all means,
[1026]
you can connect the dots...
[1028]
I mean sometimes,
[1030]
and I can tell you as a scientist,
[1032]
and I've seen other scientists do this,
[1035]
if you're cornered,
[1036]
you're just braising it out, you hold up a picture of a buffalo and insist that it's a dog."
[1045]
Since the first Mars orbiter images were released 50 years ago,
[1050]
many areas of the planet have piqued curiosity.
[1053]
But none more than Cydonia,
[1056]
with it's undeniable indication of intelligent engineering
[1060]
and mathematical relationships far too precise and numerous to be coincidental.
[1067]
Yet, little to nothing has been revealed about it in the last decades by those who control the cameras.
[1073]
And the only footage ever made public continues to foster "plausible deniability".
[1081]
Of course, coincidentally,
[1083]
the Mars rover sending images has been declared inoperable and defunct.
[1090]
People not bound to silence have long spoken out...
[1094]
if Cydonia really isn't worth investigating,
[1097]
where are high-res photographs of the area to prove it?
[1101]
Why are we being distracted by pictures of other areas,
[1105]
when the one of tantamount importance is dismissed?
[1109]
Many a scientist pays a price for challenging accepted beliefs.
[1114]
One such man Richard Hoagland observes this about us
[1119]
that when it comes to trusting what we see,
[1122]
we yield our power to whomever we perceive has authority on the matter
[1126]
and become willing to deny what is otherwise evident.
[1131]
Such is the case with Mars,
[1133]
with architecture,
[1135]
artifacts,
[1137]
machinery,
[1138]
junk,
[1139]
UFOs,
[1141]
domes,
[1142]
delineated angles,
[1144]
and even metallic objects...
[1147]
we are merely told “That’s not a buffalo... it’s a dog.”
[1153]
and numbly we reply, “Yes, it’s a dog”.
[1157]
Hoagland asks us to take back the conversation,
[1161]
to ignore the ruthless manipulation made when the sarcastic mention of "little green men"
[1167]
threatens to veil the greater truth.
[1170]
Could ancient civilizations once have inhabited the desolate red wasteland of Mars?
[1178]
Take back the conversation, and perhaps we'll find the truth.
