LEDGER LIVE APP TUTORIAL [BEGINNERS QUICK GUIDE] - YouTube

Hello everyone it's Petko Aleksandrov and in  today's video I will make a quick Ledger Live App  

tutorial, it's not going to be one of these videos  where I will show how to connect the Ledger Live  

with your phone to do the phrase and everything  there are like thousands of videos already on  

YouTube about it. So that video is more  about how to navigate through the app on  

your phone once you install the Ledger and  once you are ready to manage your Cryptos.  

So as you already may know, Ledger is probably  the safest place where you can secure  

your Cryptocurrencies and if I show you my Ledger  Live app right now you will see that I already  

have above $51000 and I feel super safe having it  in there because it's a hardware wallet okay it's  

offline and that's one of the reasons actually  it's most secure, alright now what I have on  

the Portfolio section is basically all the coins  that I transferred from different exchanges  

or wallets into my Ledger okay so overall you  will see that I keep safely here about $51000  

and just in the last 1 week, I have over $4000 of a profit which is about 9  

to 10% as the Bitcoin value grows, okay  and the second tab I have accounts where I have  

different accounts for the Bitcoin, the Ethereum,  Stellar, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tezos, simply these  

are the main Cryptocurrencies that I invest in at  the moment and imagine the Ledger Live app is kind  

of your Bank and you have sub-accounts so every  Crypto is on a separate app which at the beginning  

sounds a little bit complicated but then it  turns out to be very easy and organized that  

way, okay then I have the option to transfer  so from here I can Send, Receive, Buy and Sell,  

Swap and Lend Crypto, so for example if I want to  send some of the Crypto I will check on that and  

then I will select from which account I want to  send so let's say I want to send some Ethereum, I  

will click on that and right over here I will need  just to enter the address so I'll be able to send  

that okay very same thing if I want to receive,  if I want to Buy and sell actually Ledger uses  

a partner called Coinify which you can use to buy  Cryptocurrencies okay and in order to make any of  

the transfers, keep in mind that you need to have  the Ledger connected to the Live app, anyway it  

will not gonna work okay, then I have the Manager,  obviously I have just one Nano X at the moment  

and basically here you can add another device  if you have and then we have the settings which  

is something that you really won't need every day. Alright, so the Ledger Live app is really really  

useful the good thing which I like very much is  that at the moment I haven't connected the app with  

the Ledger but still I see the total balance that  I have for the moment right, so I need to connect  

the Ledger Live app to the Ledger device only  when I receive, send or do any transfers between  

my accounts okay so even I'm outside and I want to  check how is the balance in the Ledger I can do it as  

long as I have internet connection and I don't  need to carry the device with me, okay which makes  

it again super safe. Alright and something  very important I have to say at the end of  

the video if you are about to purchase a Ledger  make sure to do it from the official website
