In this episode, we will move houses but it's not us. We will help RM's aunt move to a new house.

We borrowed this K2500 so we can load it up and try if we can fit in lots of things and see what the ride quality is.

Let's give thanks first to Kia Philippines for lending us a Kia K2500. We've advised that we will be moving houses so we're okay with that.

Let's talk about the exterior first. Of course outside, its looks are not for car shows, it just looks basic.

Chubby but capable. This Kia K2500 is not made for car shows, it's really utilitarian. This is needed for business, cargo, like what we'll do today. Moving houses

But even though this is a utilitarian vehicle, we will still explain its outside features to you.

So here at the front, it has a halogen headlight, it also has signal lights, and because this is Kia, their signature grille. It's what they call the "tiger-nose grille"

They also have a provision for fog lamps.

On the side, there's nothing we can do. You will really see that the back part is a box.

But of course, this is really for cargo, that's why it's a box. You can maximize all of its space.

The good thing about the back is that it has 3 sliding windows. The side mirror has a set of 2, one regular and one magnified.

You will that the side mirror has a partition. The outside and door handles have a matte black finish.

All the doors have keys.

The gas tank is here at the passenger's side and all the wheels have steel rims.

At the back, of course, it's still a box! That's how it is, we have to maximize the space so there's nothing w can do about it.

The lights at the back are simple, just circles, but they are highly visible. There's a step board because it's high, and a handle at the outside of the door so you won't have a hard climbing up, you have something to hold on to.

The door can be opened partially or fully, so if you have something big to load like a bed or bed frame, you will have to fit it in whole, so better if both doors are open.

The space inside, here at the front, it's spacious, to be honest. Especially right now, it's just the 2 of us so the space is really big. We have a space to put our bags in between us, that's how big the armrest is.

This can also be a seat, or like what we did, we used it as a top because it has 2 cupholders at the back. But if there's 3 of you, you can pull this up, and has its own seatbelt.

The back of this has a lot of seats, and it can carry more than 1.1 tons.

You can load up so much stuff. It has chairs that you can also fold if you need more space and no one will sit at the back.

But if you have someone who would take care of the carrying and lifting, you can pull the seats down.

What I liked the most, specifically here at the front, it has power windows and power door locks. It's not manual anymore

You'll just have to press. It also has auxiliary and USB ports, so you can charge your cellphone here.

The AC is super cold, that's just at number 1. We only put it on fan speed 1 but it's really cold.

There at the back, the AC is bigger, that's colder.

Its steering wheel is good to touch, it's not leather-wrapped but it's still chubby, and the good thing is it's very soft to turn.

The instruments cluster is basic, the AC has basic rotary knobs, everything is basic and utilitarian but if you will touch it, everything is hard. Everything here in the interior is for brawling, I think.

Long-lasting, yes.

Yes, it won't easily get scratch, won't easily get destroyed.

Because it's so hard.

The infotainment system is missing.

But you can install one

There's a provision, but there's nothing placed yet.

What we are using right now is a speaker

Yes, we're using a Bluetooth speaker

And a cellphone.

That would do.

But there's a good thing here because there's a cellphone compartment at the forefront.

So it's perfect for when you need Waze, you don't need to mount it because it's already placed here.

Actually, it's like a small drawer, you can put coins, cards, or whatever in it, but we used it to hold a cellphone.

Yes, because its height is just right for when you look at it. It's super okay.

The seats are very soft and comfortable. You won't have a hard time here, even if you sit down the whole day because it's soft.

In driving, I am so delighted because it's so light to carry. We came from our place where the roads are narrow, it's easy to turn because of the soft steering.

I am also very happy about the transmission because it's so easy to use. The primary gear has a strong pull, actually, if you have no load, you can just use the 2ns gear, it will do.

That's how strong its torque is. And then for the city, 5-speed is just right. but when you get to the expressway, like right now, 6th gear is very good.

You can use it like an overdrive.

It's very comfortable to carry. The only thing that we have noticed is that the suspension since it's utilitarian has a bounce.

But later we will find out, once we have filled the space at the back. We are just about to get the things from the old house to the new one

So later, let's see if there will be a difference in the suspension when the back is full.

Just so you know, our speed at the moment is 60KPH. Our rev is around 1,400RPM, so that's low. We're on 6th gear

If we will speed up a bit to 70, at around 1,750. It can absolutely go fast, but its run is very comfortable. Right now we're at 70.

Its 80KPH is around 1,800+ RPM.

You can probably right now that we are full at the back, even here in the middle.

Literally, our stuff in the back is now here at the front because it's no longer gonna fit in there. As in till the very end, even at the door, there are things.

We have loaded up a lot.

I just noticed, even though we're already past 20, we're no longer bouncing that much, so it's really made to carry heavy things.

That's right. Big improvement.

Its pedals are soft, like the clutch, they're easy to step on. Easy to mix, the gasoline, easy to estimate, the brake is strong, even when it's loaded.

It can take it

I also noticed that when the backrest is pushed down here in the middle and you got your elbow rested on it, it gives you a good positioning for the gear shift.

Your arm won't feel tired from hanging.

Also it's good if you will drive-thru. As in, my entire bag can be put on here. Plus you have a spot for your bag here. You can still put stuff in between.

that back part will do too

This one, my legroom here is spacious. You can probably place stuff, like our tripod, 2 of them. There's a big umbrella, and my bag can be put there still.

Shoutout to Engineer Marco, because if not for him, it's impossible for us to arrange the things at the back, how was he able to fit them all

I don't know what kind of puzzle he did, but he was able to squeeze in almost everything. We were able to carry almost everything that we needed to take. There were probably just 2 pieces that we weren't able to get

We're now here at the segment called "The Good and The Bad"

The first bad we have noticed is that the suspension is really bouncy because this is made for cargo. But it improves when you already have lots of loads, like right now.

This is the only thing that I saw was missing, I have noticed this when we were on the skyway, it's so quiet without this

So I am looking for radio because it doesn't have that. But it has a provision that you can put a radio. You can also install a screen, it's up to you

So shout out as well to our friends from Growl Audio, if you want to get an infotainment system installed by them.

I also noticed that this is kay to use on expressways, and usually, this is for long-term, every day, and long-distance use.

It's not that it's not good, but this would have been better if there's cruise control. So if you're in the expressway, you can just set it to 80 if you're traveling far, then you can just rest your foot.

So that's all that I hope they can put here, but I don't know, because of the price. This is cheap and big.

Besides that he's looking for cruise control, I wish there was automatic as well.

Let's move on to good. First of all, my God, the back of this is so big, so almost the whole house has fit in

We're so delighted.

Literally, after we have taken the things, when we talk inside the house, it already echoes. It means that there is nothing left inside, almost.

That's it, we took them and there was really nothing left. The people there will just eat on hand because nothing left, even the tables were already taken.

This is what's very good for me, the AC. Even at just number 1, it's already enough. Yesterday when we used it, the middle is open. Even if you don't turn on the AC at the back, it's cold. It can cool it off

For me, the transmission is very good too because this is 6 gears. For city driving, I usually use up to the 5th gear. But for expressways, you have on more gear left which is the 6th gear.

I also liked that the door opener and lock are electronic. you won't have a difficulty. Just lowering down the windows will cost you tons of sweat.

That's not the case here. All you have to do is press.

Besides the power windows, power door locks too. But of course, that's only for the one at the front. The back door has a separate key.

Your visibility is also okay here, you will see everything because the mirrors are big,

The side mirror has 2 parts, the magnified and regular so will see even the lower side part of the car. If you will go backwards, you will see if you will hit something

The steering is also very easy to use because it's very soft. Loaded or not, the steering is really very soft.

Plus the soft chair, so if you will use this car the whole day, that would do.

Also, I noticed that the engine is underneath, but not hot to the butt.

Yes, that's right. So this is what I liked the most, we've gone to so many places, even Manila and all, but it only ate so little of the gasoline. Super fuel saving

My verdict here is if you need a utility vehicle for cargo, fuel-efficient, nice to carry, and easy to drive, you will really be able to load this up a lot. This is what you should buy.

This vehicle really is a bank for the buck, plus a bonus. If you really need it, for example, when you have to get supplies from your farm, it has 4x4 version.

You can go wherever, even in muddy places. That was our problem on the farm before. When it's raining, it gets muddy, we get stuck. When you have a 4x4, at least you will surely get to your destination.
