i'm going to show you the steps required to get聽聽

your arizona real estate license so arizona has聽
a 96 hour pre-licensing course this pre-licensing聽聽

course is divided into two sections the 90-hour聽
pre-licensing course itself and then arizona is聽聽

one of the few states that has a separate contract聽
writing course that you have to take so that聽聽

this focuses on the sales contract makes a lot of聽
sense a lot of states don't do this they leave it聽聽

to the broker to actually teach you the聽
contracting so arizona's a little bit different聽聽

from that standpoint now to go through the 90-hour聽
course you have to be logged in whether it be聽聽
[52]
on a online system or a classroom system聽
when you're going through the 90-hour course聽聽

you're going to have to authenticate your identity聽
to that outside vendor so that they can log in and聽聽

get your information going with this one thing聽
to note about the arizona online course is that聽聽

if you are taking it online the system's going to聽
keep track of the amount of time that you spend聽聽

and it's going to limit you to 10 hours a day now聽
let's translate that with the 90 hour course that聽聽

means that you could be done with the course in聽
as little as nine days and be ready to take that聽聽

final exam of the course and then the um actual聽
state slash national exam so you can get it done聽聽

very very quickly a classroom course may have this聽
spread out on the schedule over a further period聽聽

of time there's going to be a final exam given聽
with the pre-licensing course and you have to聽聽

pass that final exam with a 75 or higher score so聽
this is going to be a proctored exam and when you聽聽

get done with the course they're going to give you聽
the information as to how that test is going to聽聽

be administered if it's classroom they're going to聽
administer it if it's a online course they'll give聽聽

you information so that you can find a proctor聽
and be able to go through that particular process聽聽

when you're done with that you then are聽
given a certificate of completion and that聽聽

certificate of completion allows you to then聽
uh submit the application with a pearson view聽聽

real estate uh testing center so that you go聽
into the independent testing center to take聽聽

that national slash state exam for the final聽
portion when you sign up for the course聽聽

if you're signing up for an online course there is聽
a time period that you have to complete the course聽聽

and that is one year now i would not advise you聽
to take the entire year to actually go through and聽聽

complete the course this is something that you're聽
going to want to focus on and do sooner rather聽聽

than later because there's going to be information聽
that you learn in the first sections of the course聽聽

that you want to make sure that you can recall聽
when it comes time to the test because this聽聽

in most cases with the the uh pre-licensing聽
course it is an exercise to prepare you for聽聽

passing the final exam so you want to make sure聽
that whatever course you pick whether it's an聽聽

online course and i have a complete guide to聽

whether you're selecting the online course or聽聽

a classroom course you want to make sure that聽
the program has a exam preparation module or聽聽

a sample test question module that you can log聽
into set a time frame and go through a series of聽聽

questions so that you're able to pass if you're聽
passing it home at about a 90 95 percent then聽聽

when you actually go to the testing center even聽
if you forget some information if you get nervous聽聽

because you will then you're going to be able to聽
go through this information and be able to pass聽聽

at a 75 percent okay when you complete the course聽
you're going to get a certificate of completion聽聽

and you want to make sure that you keep a copy聽
of that and that you also have a copy available聽聽

for pearson vue for the testing center because聽
you have to have that certificate of completion聽聽

in order to register and sign up for the聽
independent state slash national exam that you聽聽

have to pass so now that you've taken the test and聽
you've passed it's time to make your application聽聽

with the arizona department of real estate and聽
you're going to have to submit in your application聽聽

your fee your state exam score report聽
that you're going to get from pearson vue聽聽

you're going to have to go through and聽
provide your pre-licensing certificate聽聽

also the certificate of completion for the聽
contracts course you are going to have to do聽聽

a proof of legal presence on a form and you're聽
going to have to go through and complete a聽聽

fingerprint clearance card so this is something聽
that you're going to want to make that application聽聽

when you're thinking about real estate when聽
you're thinking about signing up for the course聽聽

you're gonna have to budget two things one is聽
the time but two because there are time frames聽聽

that you have to apply within a certain聽
time frame after you've taken the course聽聽

and then actually apply with the state you have to聽
think of this from a monetary standpoint as well聽聽

take and then you'll be eligible to file your聽聽
