Our house build Pt3- walls and ceiling slab pour - YouTube
Channel: lignum
[12]
Where we left off the last time..
[18]
Concrete for the ground floor walls is here.
[28]
It is important to vibrate thoroughly to get as many air bubbles out..
[39]
The hose was pretty thick so it was hard to lower it down everywhere between the rebar..
[55]
A day or two after the pour..
[66]
Some walls turned out perfect, some could be better..
[74]
I don't know why but deshuttering is always so satisfying.. :)
[96]
Concrete is C25/30 grade.
[115]
I had to add a row of bricks to the thin 10cm walls to reach the height of the ceiling.
[128]
Removing the so called gilletes.. Easier to do with a hammer though;)
[136]
Placing the horizontal RC bands shuttering..
[157]
Also for RC beams..
[172]
I find this one of the simplest way to do it, quick to assemble and disassemble.
[178]
Also doesnt need any reinforcement on the top so nothing gets in the way when pouring..
[192]
Finished bands and beams shuttering.
[199]
Now the slab..
[205]
Plan is to reuse all these 5x12cm and 5x10cm planks later for the roof structure..
[214]
Primary beams are made from two 5x12 cm planks nailed together, they are supported cca every 1m and spaced at 1m apart.
[222]
Secondary beams are 5x10 at 50 cm spacing.
[232]
Sun is finally giving us a break :)
[265]
Time for rebar..
[270]
Short RC beam rebar, 3 16mm bottom, 3 14mm top, 8mm stirrups every 20 cm.
[278]
Corners are important so they need special attention and have to be done right.
[290]
Rc bands rebar, 2 12mm bottom, 2 12mm top, 8mm stirups every 25cm.
[299]
Slab mesh, Q503 bottom, Q257 top.
[304]
10mm U rebar all around the edges every 20 cm. It holds and connects bottom and top rebar meshes.
[323]
We had to pull some meshes trough the beams rebar so the beams don't protrude to much underneath the ceiling.
[331]
This way I wont have to lower the ceiling too much to hide them.
[354]
Tying everything up..
[366]
12mm rebar along the edges through U rebar. Two top and two bottom.
[377]
Top mesh, Q257.
[381]
Rebar from columns that don't continue to the second story are bent down.
[389]
We also have to pull the top mesh trough the beam rebar so some cutting is required.
[401]
Finally the top rebar of long RC beam.
[405]
3 16mm rods. Bottom is 4 16mm rods. Stirups are 8mm every 10cm close to the edges for 70cm and every 20cm in the middle.
[412]
Adding reinforcement rebar around the laundry chute hole..
[424]
Guardian of the workshop:)
[434]
Making shuttering for RC beams that will protrude 10 cm up from the slab level.
[456]
Placing conduit pipes for electric cables, water and heating.
[472]
Whose hand is this XD
[478]
I Forgot to film the waste water pipes up close but you can kinda see them here along the edge close to the crane.
[487]
The pour day:)
[493]
It's not too deep so just a bit of vibrations..
[521]
So smooth.. Friend is a pro :D
[533]
That's all for this part. Subscribe for more;)

See you next time!
